June

Nobody's POV

It was the middle of June, meaning that it was the toward the middle of summer. That meant that Camp Embryo was in full swing. In fact it started about two weeks ago and Amu was simply elated to be there. Not only did Amu get to see and hang out with cute campers, but she also got to see and hang out with her crush, Ikuto Tsukiyomi.

Well to be honest he was every female's crush at the camp but that didn't stop her from liking him. From his midnight blue hair that slightly stuck on the sides and swooped down on his forehead to his attractively long legs to his deep smooth voice to his kind but mysterious attitude and personality he was every was everybody's dream guy.

But instead of being like all the other girls at camp who hung on his arm or tried to win his affections in desperate and gross ways, Amu choose to act like she didn't like him at all.

When he talked to her, she was rude and curt and she always had an attitude. Whenever he made to touch her or did touch her she would look disgusted or yank her body away from him. When he sat next to her, which happened quite frequently, she would scoot as far away as she could and look him up and down out of the corner of her eye.

It pained Amu to do this and regretted it every time, but whenever Ikuto was around Amu started to panic and when Amu panicked her cool and spicy personality would come out.

The only two people who knew about her crush, was her all time best friends at the camp, Utau, who also happened to be Ikuto's sister, and Rima, a friend from school. Utau teased Amu all the time about her crush on her brother and how she acts, which in fact is what was happening at this very moment.

"And then she pushed him into the pool!" Utau said bursting into laugher.

Rima's eyes widened and a smile spread out on her face. Chuckling Rima turned to Amu, who put her face was in her hands and refused to look up at the two.

"Why? Why would you do that?" Rima asked the smile never leaving her face.

Amu shook her head and groaned.

"I don't know. I panicked and it was automatic response and...and...it just happened."

Rima raised an eyebrow.

"Sooo your automatic response to someone grabbing your arm, is to push them into a pool?" Rima asked trying to keep the amusement out of her voice.

Amu groaned again.

"Apparently so." Utau said laughing.

"Shut-up." Amu muttered throwing a pillow at her.

Catching the pillow, Utau laughed harder.

Leaning back into the chair she was on, Amu put her head back so that it was hanging off the chair and closed her eyes.

"I wish I could stop acting like this towards him, it's embarrassing."

Three sat there in awkward silence.

Eventually Rima cleared her throat, causing Utau to look at her in question.

"Well, I know one way you could stop acting like that towards him."

Amu's head shot up and Utau raised an eyebrow.

"How?"

Rima frowned.

"Your not going to like it and it will be really hard to pull off, but with Utau's and my help I think you'll be able to pull it off."

"Ok. What is it?"

"Before I answer that, I want Utau to promise me that she'll help out no matter what it is. Can you do that for me?" Rima asked turning toward Utau.

"Well what is it?" Utau asked.

"I'll tell you after you promise."

Utau stared at Rima for a few seconds before sighing.

"Alright alright, fine. I promise."

"You promise what?" Rima prompted.

Utau gave Rima a look that said 'really?'.

"What? I just want you to be specific so that you can't use your words against me."

Utau rolled her eyes but smiled.

"Rima, I promise to help you with what ever scheme you have to help Amu stop acting like an idiot in front of and to my idiot brother."

"Thank you. Now as I was saying it will be difficult to pull of and you probably won't want to do it but with Utau's and my help we should be able to pull it off."

"Ok...what is it?" Amu asked leaning forward.

"Avoidance. You could avoid him for the rest of camp."

Silence.

Rima closed her eyes and leaned back into her chair.

"See, I told you you woundn't-"

"Let's do it." Amu said, making Rima open her eyes and Utau lurch forward in her chair.

"What?" The two said in unison.

"I said, lets do it."

Rima smiled.

"Alright."

"But-" Utau started but was cut off by Rima.

"No 'buts'. You promised you would help no matter what it was, now keep your promise."

Utau's shoulders slumped and she sighed.

"Alright, so how do we do this?"

True to their words, the girls helped Amu avoid Ikuto.

If Amu was put into the same group as Ikuto, one would volunteer to take Amu's place. At meals the girls would get their meals and eat in their cabin, which was against the rules but who cares about the rules in summer. Utau or Rima was always with Amu so that she was never alone just in case Ikuto needed to talk to Amu. If he did have something to say then either Utau or Rima would intercept him and ask him what he needed and would pry the info out of him and just tell it to Amu directly and in the rare case Amu had to tell Ikuto something, then one of two would jut tell him in Amu' place.

It was exhausting and worth too much effort but it worked and it made Amu's life a little bit easier.

It was the last day and currently the camp was having a goodbye circle. Meaning it was basically a circle where the campers thought about what they did over the summer at camp and give appreciations to one another.

Currently a little girl named Miki was showing a painting she made and explaining what inspired her and what the painting meant to her.

Placing her hand on Utau's shoulder, Amu bent down as she stood up.

"I'll be right back, I gotta use the bathroom."

Not looking away from Miki, Utau nodded.

Straightening herself up, Amu walked to the bathroom, which was a little ways away from the camp grounds, which Amu found stupid, and proceeded to use the bathroom. After washing her hands and drying them, Amu walked outside of the bathroom where her arm was proceeded grabbed and she was dragged behind the bathroom.

Pulling her arm free from her kidnapper, Amu proceeded to look up and give her kidnapper a piece of her mind but when she saw who kidnapped her, only one word seem come out of her mouth.

"Asshole."

Ikuto raised an eyebrow.

"Excuse me?" He asked.

Amu swallowed.

"Why am I here?" Amu asked, her voice harsher than intended.

"Because you've been avoiding me."

"Who?"

"You." Ikuto said poking Amu's forehead with his finger.

"Me? I have no idea what your talking about." Amu scoffed and looked away.

"No you've definitely been avoiding me. But the question is why?"

Ikuto took a step closer to Amu and in turn Amu took a step back.

"Ya' know, I was pretty lonely this summer." Ikuto began taking another step closer.

"Hmmm, I wonder why. Didn't all your fangirls keep you company." Amu spat taking a step back.

"It that jealousy I hear?" Ikuto said smirking, taking another step closer to Amu.

Amu rolled her eyes and took a step back.

"Now why would I be jealous of them?"

"Because you like me." Ikuto said taking a step closer.

Amu's eyes widened and her pulse quickened. Taking another step backwards Amu felt her back press up against the wood of the bathroom wall.

She was trapped.

"Says who?" Amu said trying to seem calm.

"Says you."

"When?"

"At the beginning of summer. I overheard you talking with my sister."

Amu's eyes widened even more and she blushed as she recalled the conversation.

Ikuto put his arms next to Amu's head and leaned in close to her.

"Well, I just want to let you know that your lucky." Ikuto whispered as he leaned in closer.

Amu's heart thumped painfully in her chest and her breathing quickened.

"H-how?" Amu stuttered out.

"Because...." Ikuto leaned in closer.

"..I.." And closer.

"...Like..." And closer.

"...You..." And closer.

"...Too..." And closer.

Before Amu could comprehend what Ikuto had said, he closed the gap between them and kissed her.

Kissing Ikuto was the best thing that had ever happened to Amu. His breath tasted like mint and his lips were as soft and smooth as butter.

Neither wanted the kiss to end but sadly it had to, for they needed to breathe.

Pulling away panting, Ikuto rested his forehead on Amu's.

"You....like...me?" Amu panted out.

"I'll say it as many times as you want." Ikuto responded looking at Amu's eyes.

As Amu looked into Ikuto's eyes she saw sincerity, happiness, and love.

Closing her eyes and wrapping her arms around Ikuto's neck, Amu brought him down into a passionate kiss.

A few moment later, Amu pulled away and opened her eyes.

Slipping under Ikuto's arms Amu walked behind the blue hair male and turned towards him. Putting her arms behind her back, Amu smiled as she watched Ikuto turn toward her.

"Come on, lets go back to camp. The circle is still going on."

"Only if I can hold your hand and sit by you." Ikuto said with a smirk.

Amu rolled her eyes but offered him her hand.

Taking it into his hand, the two walked back to camp hand in hand, ready to start a new time together.
