Febuary

Nobody's POV
Ikuto woke up to warmth of the morning sunlight streaming through his window. Rolling over Ikuto expected to see his pink haired lover but instead was met with an empty bed.

Sighing, Ikuto pushed himself into a sitting position and stretched.  Yawning Ikuto got out of bed and walked into his kitchen where he was greeted with the smell of cooking.

Leaning on the door frame, Ikuto proceeded to watch his lover make breakfast for the two of them.

"Good morning babe. Will you do me a favor and set the table?"

Ikuto smiled and walked up behind the pinkette. Wrapping his arm around her waist, he stuffed his head in the crook of her neck.

"Amu..." Ikuto began.

"Yes babe?"

"I love you."

"I know and I love you too. Now will you please let go of me and set the table?"

"No."

"Please. It's hard to cook to with you holding me."

Ikuto sighed.

"Fine. But only because you asked nicely Strawberry."

Unwrapping his arms from around her waist, Ikuto quickly kissed the top of her head and walked over to the cabinet and grabbed two plates. After he set them on the table, Ikuto grabbed two forks and two napkins and set them done next to the plates. Next he grabbed two glasses and set them down near the plates as well.

Sitting down, Ikuto watched his lover with a smile on his face.

"Sing." He said all of a sudden.

"What?"

"I said sing."

"Why?"

"Because I want to hear you sing. I like it when your sing. It gives me peace."

"So your.......unpeaceful?"

"No. But that doesn't mean I don't want to hear to sing."

Amu smiled.

"Alright, do you have any specific song  in mind?"

Ikuto shook his head but quickly said 'no' when he realized Amu couldn't see him.

"Alright then. I guess I'll choose one. Let's see if you can guess what it is, when I'm done singing it."

"Alright. But I guarantee I'll know it."

Amu laughed then began to sing.

"Hear my voice beneath the Sea

Sleeping now so peacefully

At the bottom of the sea

Sleep for all eternity

Sailors live so restlessly

Come with me, sleep peacefully

Listen to this siren's song

Worry not for nothings wrong

Let my voice lead you this way

I will not lead you astray

Trust me as we reach the side

Jumping out where men have died

Hear my voice beneath the sea

Sleep now so peacefully

At the bottom of the sea

Sleep for all eternity

Let the ocean fill your lungs

Struggle not, soon peace will come

Taking in your final breath

Sink down to the ocean's depths

I wish I could always be

In the oceans arms, you see

He who'd wanted nothing more

Sleeps now at the ocean floor

Ocean was your lover's name

You had loved her all the same

Now you'll always be together

Sirens are so very clever

Hear my voice beneath the sea

Sleep now so peacefully

At the bottom of the sea

Sleep for all eternity."

As Amu finished the last line of the song, Ikuto sat there in awe. Ikuto knew Amu could sing, he'd heard her multiple times. But this, this was different from all the times he heard her sing. Every time he heard her sing, her songs were full of passion and hope. But this song, this was was nothing like the rest. This song was overflowing with passion and there was no hope present in it. This song was haunting yet...beautiful and Ikuto had never heard any song like it.

"-ko. Ikuto. Ikuto!" Ikuto was snapped out his thoughts by Amu's voice.

Looking up, he saw Amu looking down at him with a worried expression on her face.

"You alright?" She asked.

"Huh. Uh Yeah, I was just thinking."

"Hmm. What about? You looked pretty deep in thought there."

"I was just thinking about the song you just sung."

"Oh. Did you like it?"

"Yeah. I thought it was hauntingly beautiful."

Amu chuckled and placed the food on the table then sat down.

"That's the point. Now, do you know the name of the song?" Amu asked with a smile.

"....no..." Ikuto said reluctantly looking away, a tint of red on his cheeks.

Amu laughed.

"It's ok, not a lot of people know what it's called."

"Oh. So, what's the name of the song?"

"As far as I know, it's called the Sirens Song."

"Oh. Who taught it to you?"

"My Grandma."

Ikuto knew that was his que to stop talking about it because he knew her Grandma was a touchy subject.

"So today's Valentine's Day, is there anything you want to do to celebrate it?" Ikuto asked changing the subject and taking a bite of his breakfast.

Amu thought for a moment while she ate.

"I don't really want to leave the house today, so can we just hang out and play games?"

"Sure sounds good."

-Time skip-

"Uno!" Amu screamed as she placed her second to last card on the stack of built up uno cards.

Ikuto smirked. Placing down a +4 then a green reverse, Ikuto looked up at Amu and whispered,

"Uno."

Amu's smile dropped as she watch Ikuto place down his last card.

"Damn it. I hate you." Amu cried as she threw her card on the table and stood up.

"Aw is my Strawberry being a sore loser?"

"Shut up."

"How adorable."

Amu growled.

Walking over to the pinkette, Ikuto stood over her. Looking down into her glaring eyes, Ikutos smirk never wavered.

"You shouldn't growl at people, ya know that? Growling is not polite and you could get in trouble for it."

Amu growled again, her eyes blazing.

"Hoh, are you asking for trouble?" Ikuto asked stepping closer to Amu so that her chest was pushed up against his.

Amu silently glared up at Ikuto.

"Ya' know glaring isn't nice either."

Amu growled and Ikuto raised an eyebrow.

"Your really testing me." Ikuto said smirking.

As Ikuto took a step forward, Amu took a step back.

"Am I?" Amu asked her eyes shifting between his and a smirk now visible on her lips.

"Yes. Yes you are."

Ikuto took another step forward and Amu took another step back.

Feeling the wall hit her back, Amu flinched slightly.

"Did you just flinch?" Ikuto asked grinning.

"No."

"Yes you did."

"No I didn't."

"Yeah you did so don't deny it."

"..."

"Hah. I knew it." Ikuto said laughing.

"But you know what, Strawberry?"

"Hmmm."

"You don't need to be scared of me."

"And why is that?" Amu asked, a glint in her eyes.

"Because..." Ikuto put his arm on the wall above Amu's head.

"I..." Ikuto leaned in.

"Love..." Ikuto leaned in more.

"You..." Ikuto moved in the remaining inches and connected his lips with hers.

When they pulled away, Ikuto looked down at Amu, love evident in his eyes. Resting his forehead on hers, Ikuto sighed.

"I really do love you, you know that, right?"

"Yeah, I do. And I love you, you know that, right?"

Ikuto smiled.

"Yeah. Happy Valentine's Day Strawberry." Ikuto said giving Amu another kiss.

"Happy Valentine's Day, Ikuto."
