Tweek
December 8th, 5:09. Saturday.
A week had passed, meaning that some things had changed. But most things had remained the same. I think the most that stood out thing that's happened was Craig moving back in with his parents. Turns out, they had thought long and hard about their son being gay and just decided on becoming tolerate. There was an upside, and a downside to this. The good part being that we probably wouldn't be running into another 'us being too close' scenario ending in some huge fight like last time. Not to mention I also get to have my own tv in my room now which Craig had never taken back to his room. But besides these good things, I was going to miss waking up to see Craig there, laying beside me with his dorky smile that he only exposed to me and only me. I would miss that but I guess it's good for us to have some more space anyway. And besides, we still live next door so we always say good morning through the window to each other.
Everything else had been the same. Nothing had really been different between me and Craig since we first got together and that is mainly because we want to take things slow and to just enjoy our simple relationship. You know, just so we can take the time to get comfortable with each other. I still get pretty embarrassed whenever I'm close to Craig. Hopefully that will change so I can be more bold in the future. But that would just be me...
"Well, that's great, Buttercup!" That has been my temporary nickname for Butters. We had been talking over the phone together. "I'm glad you and Kenny are working things out."
His voice made it clear he had been smiling. "Me too! He's actually really nice to me. Hehe, I'd say I was pretty lucky." He said. "By the way, Ken asked me out to the Winter Dance on Friday! It was so romantic!"
I smiled, "Aww! I'm so proud of you, Butters! You said yes, right?"
He giggled, "Yeah, dummy! Of course I said yes!"
Before I could answer him, my dad from the bottom floor called out for me. "Tweek! Your Craig is here to see you!"
My heart fluttered with joy. I haven't yet seen him today.
"Sorry, Butters. Craig is at the door. I'll call you back, okay?"
"No need." He said. "Good luck!"
I hung up the phone and practically sprinted for the door, which resulted in me almost tripping. I let out a sharp yelp but quickly calmed myself. Not today, death! My boyfriend's at the door.
I flung open the door and raced down the stairs, only to see Craig at the door, dressing quite formally which I found to be cute. What stood out to me was the bouquet of roses he held at his side. Then it hit me:
aH shIt, wE hAd A dAtE tOdAy, DidN'T wE!?
FUCK!
"GAH! I-I'm so sorry, a-are we going out today!? I completely forgot! AH!" I asked as I approached him outside.
Craig just chuckled in response to my forgetfulness. "No, babe, don't worry. I'm totally surprising you."
I felt a breath of relief hang over me. Oh, good! I was about to be dubbed the world's worst boyfriend!
"Oh. W-Well, I'm not exactly dressed my best or anything. Nngh...sorry." I apologized while tugging at my shirt.
"Stop apologizing. I think you look cute."
"Sorry. GAH! I mean– Sorry! I mean...ACK!" I growled in frustration and tugged at my hair. Craig took a swift step forward and dragged my hand away from my head and held it.
"Calm down, Tweek. It's okay." He said with a comforting smile. I tried to smile back but I couldn't shake the feeling that I was a burden.
"Y-You're sure I'm not the worst boyfriend in the world?"
"No. In fact, I think you're the best." He took the hand which he had still been holding and kissed it, causing shivers to run down my spine.
I looked down at the ground, embarrassed. "T-Too much pressure..." I mumbled. In response, Craig giggled and kissed me again on the forehead.
"You're too cute, Tweek." He said, then called back into my house. "Hey, Mr. Tweek! Mind if I steel your son for a couple hours?"
My dad walked into the living room from the kitchen. "Sure! Just be back before nine!"
Craig had pulled me out of the house as I shut the door behind us. Outside had been an expensive-looking cab which I think Craig had hired to drive us someplace. I wondered why he had been putting so much effort into this date.
After we had got into the cab and Craig told the driver where to go, he had looked back at me and awkwardly handed me the bouquet.
"These are for you. Um, I know it's cliche but you said once that you liked roses, so I thought it would make a nice touch." He said.
No one had ever given me flowers before. I was actually quite flattered. "I love them, thanks." I said as I kissed Craig on the cheek and rested my head on his shoulder. He kissed the top of my head as we sat in silence the rest of the drive.
We had arrived at some fancy-ass restaurant I had never heard of. I still wondered why there had been so much thought into this date.
When we headed inside the building and got seated in a booth, I asked him this. "Hey, Craig. What's with all the fancy cliche-ness?"
In response, Craig grinned at me. "'Just wanted to ask you somethin'." He actually said this quite playfully, which I took by surprise.
"Oh? What is it?"
"Gimme your hands." He said. I blushed and placed my hands on the table. He held them with his and looked into my eyes "Tweek, will you go to the winter dance with me?"
I had been filled with absolute joy from this. I smiled wide and instantaneously answered him. "Yeah! I'd love to go with you!"
He gave a relieved sigh and smiled. "Good. I was hoping you'd say that."
"Why wouldn't I?"
"I don't know. I mean, you'd be crazy to reject someone like me, to be honest." I giggled. "Just kidding."
"Wow, someone's in a playful mood today. What's with you?" I asked as I placed my hands to my side.
He pondered, "I'm not sure. I'm honestly scaring myself!"
Just then, someone had walked over with a familiar voice. "Wow. Craig Tucker is smiling? Who would've known!"
It had been Clyde.
"Ah, fuck off, Clyde." Craig said with a straight face as he flipped him off.
Ah, there's the Craig we all know.
"Haha, there you are!" He teased, "Enjoying your little date?"
I had grown slightly uncomfortable with him standing there. I could notice Craig was too. "Clyde, if I wasn't on a date right now, I would totally kick your ass."
Clyde gasped as if he had been hurt. "Why such fowl words? I'm only teasing you guys!"
Craig rolled his eyes as I decided to say something. "Um, is there something you want, Clyde?"
"No, I work here. I'm taking your order."
Craig raised a brow. "You work here? Why would they allow such a trashy guy to work in a fancy-ass place like this?"
Clyde chuckled. "I managed to sway my boss into hiring me with my awesome flirtation skills. Genius, right?" We sighed. "Plus, I get a discount on the food here and they just have the most amazing tacos, you guys!"
After Clyde had finished enthusing about his job, we took our orders and he (finally) left me and Craig alone. We had both been relieved, no offense to Clyde.
"So," Craig said, changing the topic. "Have you ever dated a guy before? I don't think I've ever asked you."
I blushed at the question and turned away. "Not really, no. You're kinda my, uh, first love."
Craig's smile returned, making butterflies appear in my stomach, "Really? Me too. I've dated girls in the past but never felt any kind of connection to them. You're the first person I've dated that I've actually had feelings towards."
My blushing worsened. "Really?" I asked. "What makes me so special? I don't get it!"
"Hm, let's see." Craig said slyly as he leaned across the table. "Everything about you is super cute, you're hot, you're cute, you always manage to make me happier whenever I'm feeling down, you're cute, you have a beautiful smile, you're cute, you fight back, you're cute, you give good hugs, and did I mention you're cute? You're super cute, babe." He said while grinning. I couldn't take it anymore! This was all too much!
"GAH! TOO MUCH PRESSURE!" I said while burying my face into my hands like an embarrassed idiot.
Craig chuckled. "Yup. Super cute."
I slowly lifted my face from my hands. "I-I'm so lucky to have you, Craig."
"And I'm lucky to have you."
We starred at each other for a few moments. I noticed how his eyes didn't have the same sharp, emptiness which I had use to see in them. Except they were now more soft and mellow and were helplessly looking into mine. He sure had changed a lot around me in the past couple months. We started off having boiling rage towards one another, and now we were just hopelessly in love. It's crazy how life could through curveballs at you like this. And I was so grateful for that.

December 14th, 5:24pm. Friday
Today was the day we had all been waiting for. The day of the anticipated Winter Dance. And if I was completely honest, I was pretty damn nervous. I wanted to make a good impression on Tweek and I wasn't quite sure how to do that. After all, I'm only thirteen so I haven't had much experience...
I didn't quite know what to wear, for the most part. I looked through all the different tuxes I had. Two were black, one was white, and the other had been navy blue. I figured the blue one suited my taste the most for obvious reasons so I went with that. Now I just needed a tie to go with it. I looked down at the three I owned. One was pink, one was black, and the other one was a weird green polka-dotted one. I threw that one on my bed as if I was saying "Hell to the no." I was supposed to impress my date, not look like a complete doofus. The black tie had matched my suit better but I honestly liked the pink one too. I thought it would be best to choose whatever matched, though, despite how good of a color pink was.
About twenty minutes later of scavenging for clothes, shoes, and hair products I had no idea how to use, I decided I had looked pretty good, especially with my gelled hair. I guess I wouldn't be wearing my chullo hat today. Oh well.
I spent the next half hour practicing what to say in my mirror like what you see in the movies.
"Hey...wanna dance?" I said seductively. I cringed at my attempt and face-palmed. Dammit. He's gonna think I'm a dork! Shit!
I tried again. "Hi, babe. You look beautiful tonight...." I trailed off.
Ugh...what am I doing anymore? I'll be fine! I'm sure Tweek is just as worried as I am.
Tweek
AAAAAHHHHHHH
SHITSHITSHITSHIT I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO WEAR! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO! FUCK! AHHH!
"Tweek, calm down! You've been screaming for twenty minutes!" My mom lectured.
I frantically turned to face her. "I'VE NEVER GONE TO A DANCE, MOM! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO WEAR!"
"Calm down, sweetie. I'll help you out."
"BUT THAT'S EMBARRASSING! AH! I CAN'T TAKE ALL THIS PRESSURE!"
Craig
Yeah, I bet Tweek's fine.
About an hour later, it had been time to leave. As I awkwardly said goodbye to my parents (who had still been unsure about me, by the way) I headed out into the snowy night and walked over to Tweek's house. I knocked on their door as politely as I could and Tweek soon opened it for me.
I couldn't help but blush at how cute he looked. He wore a buttoned up white shirt underneath an emerald green vest (which had been buttoned correctly, by the way) accompanied by a green bow tie. His hair had been pretty similar to how it usually looked, but less messy which I found to be cute. I also noticed how he no longer had bags under his eyes, which surprised me. This had been the first time I actually saw his face without them.
"Hey, Craig." He said with a nervous smile. "Y-You look really good–" I had cut him off by bluntly embracing him in a hug.
"You look beautiful, Tweek." I said into his ear. He tensed up and awkwardly put his arms around me.
"Nngh...th-thank you. Um, so do you." We pulled away. "Like, you look really good." He was blushing.
"What's that, Tweek? You think I'm hot?" I teased. He giggled and slowly nodded his head.
"Y-Yeah."
"Eeeek! Look at my little baby boy and his boyfriend in their outfits! Aren't they cute, Richard?" Asked Tweek's mom as she appeared behind Tweek. Her husband appeared.
"Yeah, they look great!" He agreed.
I took a step forward so I could be standing next to Tweek. I took his hand. "I'll make sure to bring him home before nine." I said all gentlemanly.
"Okay, you boys have fun!"
When the door shut, I turned to Tweek. We smiled at each other as I asked: "Shall we?" He nodded.
We had walked over to my dad's car which had been parked in the driveway as me and Tweek climbed into the back. My dad took a deep breath as he started the car, taking off towards the school. Throughout the drive, it had gotten pretty awkward so me and Tweek sang along to the cheesy songs that played on the radio, ignoring my dad. Never had I been so dorky in my life! And I figured I would only become more like this as long as I was in love with Tweek.
We entered the school gymnasium with the lights down low and the DJ literally blasting music as we searched for our friend group through the crowd.
"Hey, look who made it!" Said Kenny who had actually looked pretty good, despite him being poor. Everyone in the group turned to look at us and welcomed us.
"You two look great!" Said Butters who had been standing next to Kenny. I think they had came together.
"Thanks." I said, allowing myself to smile. I ensured this night would be the only exception of me smiling. After all, I was in a mood to have fun and being all monotone was no way to do that.
The group had chatted about random things as Clyde suddenly came over looking pretty drowsy. "AYYYEEE GUESS WHO SPIKED THE PUNCH BOWL!!!"
God dammit.
"Clyde, are you serious!?" Asked Token who had been with Nicole, by the way.
Stan smiled at this. "Yay! Lead the way, Donovan!" Him and Clyde began walking away as Kyle yelled after them.
"Stan, you idiot! Get back here!"
Over the span of about ten minutes, our group started to separate to go off and dance until it was just me and Tweek. We looked at each other awkwardly until one of us spoke up.
"W-...Want to dance?" Tweek asked awkwardly, yet still with a smile.
"Yeah!"
We grabbed hands and ran out onto the dance floor and awkwardly danced around like everyone else had been. We laughed at how completely stupid and cliche we were being at that moment but we didn't care. As long as we were having fun, it didn't matter to neither of us how weird we were being.
"Hey, I love this song!" Tweek announced as a new song blasted through the speakers. I recognized it too.
"Yeah, me too. I love this band!"
"You do!?"
"Totally!"
One of the things I loved about me and Tweek was how we were able to learn new things about each other every day. I was surprised that I didn't know everything about him yet.
After a few minutes as the up-beat song had come to an end, a slower, calmer song began to play. I looked around at other couples as they awkwardly began to slow dance with each other. I figured that me and Tweek would have to dance like that too.
"I've never, uh, slow danced before." Tweek admitted while shuffling his feet.
"Me neither." I said, stepping closer. "Want to figure it out?"
He nodded in response and we got close. We grabbed hands and put our arms around each other, swaying to the beat. I'll admit, this was awkward but at least I had a was able to have a moment alone with Tweek.
"Two months ago I never would have thought that I'd end up slow dancing with my bully at the winter dance." Tweek said quite calmly. I chuckled.
"I know right?" I said. "I, uh, still feel bad about that."
"Don't worry, I forgave you a long time ago. I know you're a good person and a great boyfriend." He said the last part quieter. I thought it was cute how he tried to be smooth.
We adjusted our dancing position so that we were facing each other, our noses only a few inches apart.
"Hmm, the word 'great' isn't significant enough. I think the term 'amazing boyfriend' fits better." I said with a grin. Surprisingly, Tweek didn't get all embarrassed. Instead, he smirked.
"Yeah, well you're gonna have to live up to that title." He said flirtatiously.
I raised a brow. I liked this side of him. "Oh, yeah? And how do I do that?"
Tweek leaned closer until our lips were practically brushing over each other. "Kiss me."
Doing as he said, I pulled him closer and kissed him. This had been the first time we kissed since we became a couple. Sure, there had been a few awkward pecks on the cheek like that but this never happened.
Tweek had placed his smaller arms around my neck and closed his eyes. I noticed how his cheeks were turning pink, showing that he had gone back to being embarrassed again. Ugh, why was he so cute!? Seriously! I would literally write an essay on how he's so adorable.
When we pulled away at about six seconds into the kiss, there was a silence between us. I smirked to try and get a reaction from him. And I did. He immediately turned red and buried his face into my shoulder. "Too much pressure!" He yelled with his voice muffled from my shoulder. I gave a small laugh and continued to hold him close.
I think I love him.
AYYYYYYEEEEEE THIS JUST HAPPENED! YEET! I'M SO PROUD OF THIS CHAPTER, YOU HAVE NO IDEA! I LOVE WRITING ABOUT KID COUPLES AWKWARDLY DANCING TOGETHER AHHHH!
OKAY I KNOW YA'LL DON'T LIKE READING THESE NOTES BUT YOU MAY LIKE TO HEAR SOME OF THE THINGS I WANT TO TALK ABOUT
Okay so I honestly haven't read over these chapters in about two months and I just KNOW that I could have definitely written it better because I've definitely improved in the past couple months....
But do not fret, my children! I'm writing a new creek fic! :O I promise you that this new one will be written MUCH better than this one and will have longer chapters! :) I'm also going to try and give other characters bigger roles than in this one but we'll see.
So this book will basically be about the whole "running away together"cliche that some writers do. I haven't found any South Park fanfictions with this au so I'm hoping that this will be good lol. I'm also going to be having a lot more characters in this one. I'm actually surprised in the lack of characters I added to this book. *~* There were a lot I mentioned, yeah, but I never included Jimmy or Wendy, I don't think. So yeah they will be in this new book. ESPECIALLY JIMMY SINCE HE'S MY FAVORITE AND DESERVES TO BE IN FANFICTIONS, AMEN #StopExcludingJimmyFromCraigsGang 😂
Oh and I'm also going to publish it on AO3. I just thought I would try something new. But yeah, it will be posted to Wattpad as well.
Bye, my lovelies! Thank you for reading this and I hope you all have a great rest of your day! ❤️😚
