Prologue

"Can you hear me?" A black cat stood in front of the young girl.

"Oh my goodness, you can talk?!" Shock and excitement filled the room as the young girl encounters a bizzare occurrence that only happens in fictional books.

"Of course, I've been trying to communicate with you since I had arrived but it seems like you've lost your blessing. Without my disturbance, you-" Ignoring the words of the feline, she suddenly grabbed and raised it up in the air, cutting off what it was trying to say.

"What's your name, little one?" She asked while smiling.

Despite it being unnoticable, the cat definitely glared at her, still it answered, "I am Zephyros, call me by my name only. Also, let me finish when I'm-"

"Oh! So, you're a boy? I kept calling you a 'she' before, I'm sorry about that. Well, your name sounds unique like a myth! Oh, take it as a compliment heheh."

As the young girl giggled, the cat is slowly losing it's patience, "Yes, I am a boy and I repeat, do not interrupt me, young lady."

"I'm sorry, I was just so thrilled," she stated while slowly putting the cat back on the table where it was sitting prior. "This is a one in a lifetime occurrence," she added.

"Yeah? Anyways, let's begin. Rhealyn, you have forgotten your mission and promise. It's a pity I had to intervene just so you could remember some of it."

"How-" Right, I should not interfere. But how did he know my name? My parent and auntie have only called me by "Lyn." Has he always been here observing me? The cat was staring blankly at her with its pristinely golden eyes.

"Rhea," he once more called, "Your auntie is carrying a grave sin. I know you're still currently younger, but you're wiser than her in ways I can't tell you yet. Do not fret, I will guide you in your journey and help out the best I could since..." He murmured something that she couldn't get a hold of.

"What did you say? The last part, I couldn't hear it quite well," she asked and he just shrugged it off. Whilst, dumbfounded as to why he also called her Rhea, a nickname no one has ever called her by, she decided to focus on her auntie's past and secrets.

Therefore, her eyes set its gaze on the painting at the center of the room- a pale and gentle looking boy with sky blue hair and eyes. This was the start of her task on finding its reason and her main purpose as well as who this enigmatic little black cat is.
