A bit of fun and misunderstood nights [7]

"I cannot do anything about it. Let me out or I swear I won't hesitate because you are my friend." Jessica pleaded Susan to stop. It wasn't like her, Susan was a kind hearted person who didn't believe in revenge. What is this state that Jessica was in, How would she get out?

"I am your friend, Remember that? Oh wait I don't think you knew that cause apparently you killed me. Isn't that right? I had a family you fool. I had my brothers that I needed to provide for, I had dreams, And all of them went in vain- The Susan that was appearing in front of Jessica would have continued if it weren't for another voice to cut her off.

"-Jessica don't listen to her! She's not real, I am not her. Jessica you need to be careful, Wake up! Jessica, It's not your fault. That women in front of you will keep dragging you in unless you wake up! Daggers thrown in fear are daggers of vain, You need to be brave. Get out of here, This is not- The real Susan screamed at her. There was no sign of the real Susan but her voice echoed through the room. She would have said something if she had not been cut off by the fake so called Susan in front of Jessica.

"-You fool! You could have- the fake Susan would have continued but Jessica started to gain control over her state. From the outside, Jessica looked like she was tossing and Turning on her bed but on the inside she was trying to get out of there.

She then realized that she was sitting on a chair, She tried to get up with she somehow couldn't so she tried to fall down, It worked. The chair fell down from behind and as Jessica's head hit the floor in her Unconscious state, She woke up scurrying for air in the real state.

She opened her eyes, She couldn't make out if she was in the same state as before or not. She got up and went towards the door, Hurrying to get out of that room. How would she know anything? Is this real, Many thoughts like that kept occurring in her head before she reached the living room to see the group gathered over there.

She entered the room carefully, Making sure that she's in control. She was walking towards the table when Caroline stood up and Jessica took a step back.

"Tell me the first thing that I said to you," Jessica asked Caroline in a desperate voice.

"Jessica, It's alright. You can talk to us," Caroline tried to calm her down.

"Don't come near me! Just tell me the first thing that I said to you," Jessica demanded, Not knowing if she was in reality or still in the dream.

"I told you that my name's Sebastian and that I am the fire element then I asked Caroline to make you kill someone, That's what I said," Sebastian spoke and Jessica sighed and ran to hug him. She felt calm knowing that she was in the real world and she couldn't help but hug him.

She clung her arms around him and he hugged her back. She pulled away then and turned around to face the group.

"You don't know how thankful I am right now," Jessica said to them as she tried to breathe.

"Jessica you need to tell us what happened, You blacked out and fell and your veins were back to normal after that," Caroline asked Jessica with concern. But then she saw the holographic strip on the armrest of the chair light up, That meant that there was some news about something that happened in the town.

Caroline went to investigate what it was and so she touched a button on the strip to open it. Then she saw the holographic video, It was the same old woman that they had seen in the towns beheading. The woman was screaming the words "Daggers thrown in fear are daggers of vain." Many times until her head was cut of by the guards.

Caroline shut it down with anger as she went towards the alcohol cabinet but she didn't have a glass with her. She took a bottle and then shut the door. She was walking towards the door to leave when raven ran to the door before Caroline to get there.

"And where do you think you are going?" Raven asked her with a smirk to which Caroline rolled her eyes and tried to move past raven.

"I have something on my mind and I need to do it. Now if you will excuse me then I'll be leaving," Caroline answered as raven moved aside. Caroline left the room and was walking towards the exit.

"Remember to use protection." Raven screamed to Caroline as Caroline gave raven the middle finger and walked out of the door.

"Well there's that. It's a big day for you Jess, Let's celebrate," Kai commented as he went towards the cabinet. But as he opened the door he saw that Caroline's bottle was the last of it and he sighed to himself as he shut the door. He went back to the couch and sat down, They all talked a bit and kai tried to lighten the mood but it didn't work.

Jessica felt even more scared then she ever was, What had she become? When did she become a person who cared for others. Those thoughts went through her head and she tried to hide how terrified she was but nothing seemed to work.

Meanwhile with Caroline the case was different, She had been angered. If there was one thing that just made Caroline fall off the edge then it would be the executions of people who did nothing wrong and the other people just standing there. Unfortunately that was what happened everyday in every single place of Eleanor's empire.

But this time it was different, The words that the woman was screaming were the words that were never meant to be spoken. They were banned and speaking the sentence was considered treason. What upset her was that many didn't even know why it was banned and many go around using the sentence as a way to trouble the queen and queen Eleanor wouldn't spare anyone who used the sentence, She'd kill them without blinking.

Caroline couldn't take it and they couldn't go and kill Eleanor to stop it so Caroline would Sometimes go to the dark sections of the town and write the sentence on the walls. And by write she meant that she would cover every inch of that wall with the words "Daggers thrown in fear are daggers of vain".

She reached the dark side of the town, The place which smelt of alcohol and filled with street music. The place where people took comfort on the streets and sold themselves for some money. It had a different feeling from the rest of the town, While the rest of the town was filled with people walking and talking with each other over here everyone seemed to be in a trance of their own. The street that she walked on was covered with people lying on every side of it, Then she found a corner where only a single person was.

There was girl, Sitting against a wall. She was wearing torn clothes and her hair was left open. She had chestnut brown hair that went till her chest and she was in jeans and a dark tank top. She had her head leaning against the wall, With her eyes closed. That was the only place in the street that wasn't filled with people and Caroline thought that she wouldn't mind.

Caroline went up to the wall in front of her while the girl was leaning against the wall on Caroline's side. Caroline had traded the bottle for some cans of red paint and two brushes. It was surprising, the value of alcohol on those streets.

She started to open the can and paint on the wall. She wasn't made to vandalize and didn't get how to properly do it either but all she cared now was to paint the words onto the wall.

"Have another brush?" The girl asked Caroline as she stood up and walked towards her. Caroline looked at her and then lent her a brush. The girl opened the other can and started to write the second part of the sentence while Caroline wrote the first part.

Caroline looked at her hand to see a bracelet which looked quite expensive. She wondered how the girl might have gotten the bracelet and thought that it looked familiar but she ignored it.

"Who'd you steal the bracelet from?" Caroline asked as she was about to be done with her part of the sentence.

"Personal. Do you know the meaning of this sentence?" The girl questioned her and continued with her part of it.

"The name's Caroline and yes I do know the meaning of it. The origin though is something that I'd like to know," Caroline answered as she finished with her part and looked at her. The girl put the brush in the can and put it down as she looked at Caroline.

"Nora. What will you give me if I tell you the origin of it?" Nora asked her as she put her right hand on her hip.

"A location where you can hide. It's obvious that you are running from someone and I know a place where no one will find you," Caroline told her as she put the lid back on the cans of red paint.

"Deal, But you'll have to get me to the location. Eleanor didn't ban the sentence because she thought that it's a sign of treason, She banned it because it's a symbol of proof that the only reason she's still Alive is because nature spared her. Rumors say that she fought with nature itself because she was afraid of it and then nature answered with the same sentence and spared her. It's proof that Eleanor is human and that's the one thing That she can't bare to be." Nora answered and wiped off some paint that got on her hands. Caroline stood there in confusion, Wondering how she knew it but a deal was a deal.

Caroline was about to tell her the location but then she heard faint footsteps. Guard's. She and Nora were cornered and they couldn't run straight ahead but then Caroline had a thought. She looked at the wall and looked at the top of it.

"What's on the other side?" Caroline asked Nora in a really quick way as she walked back a few steps and stretched her hands.

"Forest's mostly I think," Nora answered quickly as the guard's came nearby to the corner.

"Okay, I'll need you to follow me and run really fast alright?" Caroline answered as she looked at Nora and received a nod. Caroline stepped back and took a deep breath. The only way water could get into this corner was from the top, And that's what she did. She moved her hands upwards and water in huge quantity started to come down from the roof and take the form of a staircase of ice. Nora stood their shocked but she knew that it was either that or a painful death.

Caroline looked at Nora but then saw the guard's had spotted them. They had to be quick and as the guard's started to run behind them Caroline and Nora went up the staircase which started to wither away as the guard's came close. Caroline then jumped down from the wall to the forest but Nora stood there.

"Hurry, I'll catch you!" Caroline screamed to her and Nora made up the courage to believe in her. Nora made the jump and Instead of her falling into Caroline's arms she fell directly on Caroline and that resulted in a very painful time on the ground but then both of them started laughing at what they had just done. Adrenaline was flowing through their veins and everything felt possible.

While the scene at the mansion wasn't that good.

Jessica was on the couch, Just laughing and smiling and kept looking and touching everything like she had never seen them before. Raven and kai were standing there and kai was looking at raven and when he understood what raven had done he was furious.

"Raven please tell me you didn't," Kai asked her as he tried to control his laughter and bits of anger.

"Oh of course I did. Have you seen her? She's been worried and stressed since the dance and now she's activated it and she needed a fun time.....Even if she won't remember it next morning," Raven added and looked at kai.

"I leave you guys alone for less then a minute and you've got her high. Good job, That'll make her trust us right?" Sebastian commented in a sarcastic manner.

"She trusts you enough to dance with you in the middle of the night, And that to while using my Music," Raven said to Sebastian as she then looked at Sebastian and tried to annoy him.

"Is there anyone who doesn't know that yet? What's the big deal? We were two people dancing. That's it. Now chop chop we have a basement to clean," Sebastian answered as he went towards kai and handed him a broom.

"I can come?" Jessica asked as she stood up and went towards raven and Sebastian.

"Well she did ask in a kind way- Kai muttered and raven couldn't control her laughter while Sebastian cut him off -Oh my god seriously?"

"You guys are weird. Hey broom, What are up to?" Jessica told them and asked the broom. Well at least they were enjoying bits of it while Caroline and Nora had things different for them.

"We aren't lost, We are just...We just don't know exactly where we are," Caroline told Nora who was walking with her. It was night-time and they were trying to find their way through the forest that they came into. The winds blew at a high speed and the wolves howled like there was no tomorrow. What was once looking like a warm sunny day in the forest with maple leaves now looked like it was taken over by everything dark in the world. Caroline and Nora continued to fight and walk until they thought they saw someone, Or something.

"Finally someone else over here," Nora said out loud to herself to which Caroline looked at her and smirked.

"Does that mean that you were intimidated by me?" Caroline asked her as they walked towards the person who wasn't moving for some reason.

"No- That means. Oh forget that I ever said something. Wait why do they look like they aren't moving?" Nora questioned Caroline as they came towards the so called person.

"Wait, They aren't a person. Just a statue, And she's smiling wow," Caroline told Nora as they reached the statute. It was of a woman, Who had a arm up in the air and a smile on her face. Nora and Caroline were about to stay there for the night until they heard a sound.

"Get out."

Oh if they knew the origin and value of the statue. But what they did know was that there was someone else with them and they could be dangerous.
