Park Jimin was angry, sad, annoyed, and just overall not happy with the world he was living in. The little progress he had made to a better future was already crumbling around him that he feared if he should dare try anything else. As he sped down the almost empty highway he wondered if he took the exit of a route that could take him far, would that solve everything? He questioned whether living somewhere new would clear him of all he felt. The answer was quite obvious even to him who was slowly becoming more and more sober.
Jimin had been on the road for hours. He decided to make a quick stop by a motel where he changed himself with the spare clothes in the back of Yoongi's car. This had not been his plan but his stomach rumbled too hard and his eyes barely stayed on the road. As he laid on the bed that was the most comforting thing to him in that moment, he cried. He didn't think it possible no more given the many tears he had shed on the way. Regardless, he slept with wet cheeks and was awoken by the blaring sound of his phone hours later. He didn't bother to answer it. Instead he prepared himself to finish the trip. Although he was sober now, he's mind had not been changed.
About an hour later the car stood in front of a house Jimin had wished to never to return to after the first time. It was early noon so the kids playing soccer were there to become excited over the car in which they believe Yoongi to be in, however to their disappoint Jimin stepped out. He waved to some who recognized him before walking up to the porch of Mrs.Min's home. The dark green house was haunting.
Jimin needed to knock on the door only once for the woman called out she'd be right there. When she answered the door she looked as unhappy to see him as he her. At first there had been a glint of happiness to her eyes, but that could have been because she spied Yoongi's car before opening the door. Jimin grinned a bitter smile as he greeted her.
"Mrs.Min, you're looking well."
"What do you want?" She spat. "And where's my Yoongi?"
She tried looking past him in hopes that her son was playing with the children or in the car.
"He's not here, but that doesn't matter because we don't need him. You've got a minute?"
Mrs.Min was clearly not keen on sparing Jimin that minute. She looked at him through furrowed brows curiously. She sighed as she crossed her arms.
"Why don't you think I'm worthy of your son?" Jimin asked. "I know you don't like me, but never did you give me a proper reason. Kyungsoo is the past, why are you so keen on him for your son? I've done nothing yet-"
"Yet nothing. I don't need a proper reason. I just don't believe you're the right one for my son, but he can't see that so I try to show him it. I know who you are Park Jimin, I know where you come from, and who you come from. You're not someone for my son, especially not when you're the child of Daesung."
Jimin's face went pale at the mention of his father's name.
"You know my father?"
She scoffed and nodded her head. "Of course I know him. He was a rat in his days and I assume so are you. I don't want my son with someone of the likes of him. Now that I've told you I want you off my porch and out of my Yoongi's life."
The woman turned around to close the door, but Jimin did not let her. He stared at her intensely as he struggled to grasp that he was not liked because of his father. It boggled him to think that she had known his father, but it utterly shocked him that she thought such way of him. Never had she been mentioned as a friend nor had she come up once in his father's tellings. Jimin was more confused than ever. His father was no rat, he was a respected man. Everyone thought so, he thought so. Why was this woman calling him such thing!?
"Let go boy!" The woman screeched. She caught the attention of some of the children, but more the one of her own. Coming down the stairs was Jihoon. He walked up besides his mother to peer at Jimin curiously.
"Hey...what are you doing here?" The short male asked as Jimin quickly pulled his hand away from touching the woman. "Where's Yoongi?"
Jimin smiled at Jihoon who he unlike the boy's mother, he got along with well. Jihoon would sometimes pass by the shop, but not recently. That was the thing about Jihoon, he didn't belong to neither side yet he felt as though with everything going on he couldn't even be close to either one.
"I was just asking your mom a few questions." Jimin responded calmly. "And Yoongi's at home."
"Well why don't you come in?"
"That's okay. I was just about to leave, right after Mrs.Min finishes telling me what she needs to tell me."
The tone of Jimin's voice had been friendly. The way he delivered his sentences had been friendly, but to Mrs.Min it was not. The woman asked for her son to go back inside which he did after saying goodbye. Once the young boy was no longer visible she sighed.
"Do you really not know?"
"Know what?"
She shook her head. "Classic Dae. Well I mean I don't exactly expected him to have told you, but given you're involved in this gang feud...boy you really don't know?"
"Know what!?"
"That the rat of your father runs the whole damn thing! Dae is in the man at the top of the food chain! He's the one sending out the orders that are passed down all the way to you! What did you really think you're receiving orders from some idiots called 'bunnies'? Man you kids gets stupider." She said as her eyes filled with so much frustration. "That is why I don't want you anywhere near my son. He can be taken out at any moment. Hell for all we know your father could be targeting him right now while you're here!"
"Targeting him?"
"Yes!" Mrs.Min yelled. "My boy could do one wrong thing and your father can have him executed! Now that you know that stay away from him! You make him a walking target to your father!"
By the end of her ramble the woman was shaking with tears gathering at her eyes. However, Jimin was not expressive in one bit. He stood shocked as he struggled so much more now with the new information. He could not think to find a way to console the crying mother because he felt as though he needed it so much more.
"My father runs this... everything?"
She nodded her head. "He did and he does again. It's the only explanation as to why things keep getting worse with the rivalry. Jihoon's told me how you're parents just disappeared on you one day. It's the only logical explanation. You're father is a horrible person Park, I knew him. You may be his son, but I was his right hand. I know him better than anyone so don't blame me for looking out for my son. If you care about him you'd let him find happiness somewhere else. You're only going to get him hurt. All it could take is one bad fight that everyone knows about for Dae to make his move."
Mrs.Min kept on warning him, but Jimin did not listen, he was too hung up on the last thing she said. Panic replaced that shockness he hadn't believed possible to be rid of just seconds before. He thought of how it had been made clear the day before that the two were not the happiest with each other. People had been present to see a fight break out between the two over obvious reasoning, not to mention it had basically become a public announcement at the bar that Jimin was angry at Yoongi. All it could take was one of those people for the news to spread.
Jimin ran to the car quicker than he had ever ran anywhere. The children saw the urgency in the man that they moved the soccer net away quickly. With one hand on the wheel and the other on his phone, Jimin dialed for Yoongi's number. Many tries he made yet they all resulted unsuccessful. Next he dialed his best friend who didn't answer all that quickly, but did eventually.
"Tae!" Jimin shouted which made for Taehyung to groan. "Get to the shop! Quickly!"
"I am hungover, I am not getting anywhere quickly."
"Get to the damn shop! Make sure Yoongi doesn't leave. Keep him away from the windows, keep him in the drawing room!"
"What's going on-"
"Tae just do it!" He begged.
Jimin was desperate to make it back, so much that he cut through lanes recklessly. The honking of the cars made for the other on the line to ask once again what was going on. He wasn't given an answer, but he followed through. Jimin kept his eyes steady on the road as he rushed back hoping that he would not be returning to a worse scene than the one he left.

Y'all I don't remember his dad's name (I think Daesung was it), if someone knows what chapter I wrote it in please tell. It's been so long since the first book that I don't even know if I even mentioned it.
ALSO I DO NOT condone drinking/texting while driving . It's very dangerous and this is fiction so I allowed for it but never would I in real life. Stay safe kids.
Hope you enjoyed!
