Seeing the setting of the sun on the plain fields while eating the sweet fruit of nature was one thing all the men sitting about were going to miss for they enjoyed their last moments of it.
"Are all the bags packed?" Jin asked all the men who sat outside watching the orange sky slowly turn dark. It was indeed a lovely sight but unfortunately for them they couldn't indulge much of it for their time to leave at last had come. All had done what they needed which meant all they had left was to leave.
Everyone lined up to say goodbye to the sweet old woman they were sure to miss once leaving. Although life on the farm wasn't for the city boys, they were sure going to miss it. The days picking strawberries were much enjoyed and treasured. What they would miss most was the woman though. All had said their goodbyes except for Taehyung who was left last, the grandson cried upon reaching his grandmother's arms. She soothed him with reassuring words that not only had affect on him but all the men.
"You boys be careful back there." Mrs.Kim said to them all. "I don't want a call that one of my children have left this world before me. I'll be here waiting for you all to return for a visit. And remember my boys, each other is the most important things you have in this world."
The wise preaching ended with another hug of the small family to the elderly woman. Despite the sad eyes Mrs.Kim looked at the men with, she wished them a safe trip back home. All took their way to the vehicle they'd travel in except of course the grandson who stilled by his grandmother for he did not wish to let her go.
"Alright we'll take Jungkook." Namjoon spoke up. "The rest go in Yoongi's."
Orders were followed as told. Into the black car went three male and they waited for their final passenger to be dragged to the backseat by the elderly woman he clung to. Taehyung cried a final goodbye to his grandmother as he pried off her like a child.
"You best take care of my child Hoseok." Mrs.Kim said with a smile but the tone was more threatening.
Hoseok smiled genuine in return. "I will grandma."
At last the woman patted the hood of the car just before the two took off. She watched from her porch as those who she adopted as child road off into the night to return on home. The sight they all witness of her last was a small smile that they'd remember whenever they'd think of her in the future.
"Grandma pack strawberries for the trip if any of you get hungry," Hoseok spoke up. "they're fresh too."
Taehyung who was still upset as ever and leaning against window asked for them. He needed not to move a muscle for they were fed straight to his lips without any asking to do so. While the two in the back ate the berries in an odd manner, the two in front dared not to speak to each other.
Although Yoongi had apologized and Jimin seemed to have forgiven him, they weren't exactly on the best terms yet. Much thinking had been done by both parties yet neither one of them had thought of how to go back to how things use to be. Such words spoken by another had caused a ripple in the relationship and they were both struggling in repairing it. Time was what they needed and they got it but now it was just matters of who would take the first step in attempting normalcy again. The first try wasn't attempted until about an hour into the ride when the two males in the back had finally drifted to sleep.
"Did you like staying on the farm."
Jimin responded with a small yes and an addition of how he liked the town of it best. The mornings he'd travel with Taehyung to buy meat and produce were honestly his favorite. In the short time he'd been there he'd come to know people from the area and their stories. He had met many free-spirited children unlike he'd see much of at home and adults who would not hesitate to learn more about him. Jimin had indeed fallen in love with the place and he couldn't return to be back.
"I heard from grandma Kim you guys went out the night Hoseok came back. How was that? Were there any fights?"
The young man smiled, memories of that night flooded him so quickly it was overwhelming. There had been a fight break out between two drunk men but that was not what was all so interesting about the night. Seeing and reuniting with his old friend even for the shortest time made the going to the place oh so memorable. At first Jimin worried for he had made up a lie that could very well come back to bite him later on but that was proven untrue when he who he told it to claim to not remember it. The morning after the bar when Jungkook woke up, he acted completely lost as to how he'd even gotten back home. The boy could barely recall how he'd even ended up with the scratches from his fall to Jimin's relieve.
"There was but we left before it escalated too much." Jimin responded.
"Good. Pretty boys shouldn't get caught up in those things."
To the iconic call of the nickname, Jimin grinned. It felt like it'd been far too long since he heard Yoongi call him that and honestly he missed it. The calling of it made him feel a sort of power which he could wield against his lover and had very well done in the past.
"Yeah, guess not."
The reply of the young man caused a relieve in the elder who finally broke the wall preventing them from resonating as before. It was the calling of the nickname that allowed for the two to indulge in each other until at last they were standing in the front of their home after so long.
