"I don't think I want to go."
The words were spoke by Jimin who watched his lover prepare for their night out. He was still in his outfit of the day earlier which there was nothing wrong with except for the fact that he'd never show up to a social gathering with it.
"Why?"
Jimin shrugged. He knew why, he just didn't want to say why. He was sure Yoongi knew as well which was another reason he didn't bother to explain himself. The younger fell back on the mattress and ran his hands along the dark shade of the bed spread. At one point he stopped to clutch at he had done so many times before but this time in a different sense. He stared up at the ceiling wondering why he felt so numb until it became clouded by blue strands.
"Hey." Jimin muttered at his ran his finger through the bright color that was slowly fading into a white dull one. He stared at the owner of the hair with no expression for it represented as he felt, he did not fake a face as he would with others. With Yoongi he didn't have to do that, pretend to feel a way he didn't.
"Today was their anniversary." He said softly as he moved his gaze to look out the window. It was dark outside now, it fit the man's mood. While he watched the motionless view, action was taken upon his skin in light kisses that attempted to distract him of his senselessness.
As his back arched, his head dug into the mattress. The hand buried in the hair turned to a fist that in a swift movement pulled back so hard that the owner of the strands grunted in pain.
"No."
Yoongi stood back on his feet. Angered by the attitude and cruel actions of younger, he said nothing and slammed the door shut. Once again Jimin was alone but he didn't want to be so he picked up his phone once he was sure that Yoongi was no longer in the apartment. He dialed who he could not when the man was in the room and waited for a response which came after the third attempt. The voice of the teenager filled the twenty year old ears in a way that almost caused him to cry on the spot.
"Hi Hyunnie." He said with a small grin plastered on his face. "Want to meet?"
The brothers set up a time and place in which they could indulge in each other peacefully without interruption or fear. That place turned out to be the ice cream shop near the school Jihyun was still attending and Jimin had graduated from. They ordered their usual and took their seats by the corner where no one else bothered going.
"Has the money been enough?" Jimin asked as his brother scooped off a chunk of the sweet from the cup. Jihyun nodded his head to which his brother smiled, he was glad to have been given the confirmation. He next asked Jihyun how he had been, to tell him as much as he could because it was unknown when they could next meet.
Jihyun like always was well except for the occasional pain from his knee which was a result from his latest injury during soccer. Jimin was happy to hear that was the only harm that his brother was suffering because he very could be exposed to more. The thought only haunted Jimin on nights he thought of his family, two he knew nothing of while the one he knew of occasionally.
"Have you found out anything?"
There was that one question that always found it way into the brothers conversation. Jimin shook his head and Jihyun sighed in defeat. The last news that had been recieved was over a year ago which was the word wait and that was all. The brothers had no choice but to do that since no other information came their way. Daehyun who was a suspect disappeared all together, no one knew of his whereabouts. Rumors went around that he was being looked for by dangerous people and others that he had been thrown into a home for the crazies. Whatever the reason, the only lead had been swallowed by the earth and left the boys clueless and frightened.
They ended their meeting after a phone call decided to finish it off. Jihyun, being the teenager he still was, had an event to attend to. Jimin had one too but it wasn't like he wanted to be a room where it smelled like intoxication, smoke, and bad decisions. It was place like that where his brother might be going so he wished him well and to be careful, if anything he'd be ready to pull him out of any mess but it wasn't like he needed to tell him that. The big brother made sure to make it clear to his little brother that although they no longer reside in a residence together, he was still going to be there for him in whatever necessary.
Jimin waved his hand as he watched the red head of a brat shove his hands into his pockets and walk in the opposite direction of him. The boy soon to be a man amazed his relative with his growth. In the past two years much happened to the two but Jihyun managed the grown the most physically. The younger's face stretched out so that a jawline was more prominent and his brown eyes more fierce than ever. No longer did the boy display that childish look his eyes, not always at least. Sure he was growing, but sometime it was just like old time. Jihyun would still make fun of his brother however he could and even mock him in whatever way possible. It was amazing what two years could do to a person.
"Bye Hyunnie!" Jimin screamed out. When his brother no longer gave him his back, Jimin raised his hand high and his cheekbones with it to wave him a happy goodbye. Jihyun in return waved his whole arm then took off into a sprint. Oh how much he was missing to his brother yet it wouldn't be admitted to his face. Jimin sighed and took off in the direction he should have been heading to long ago. When he made it to the location he kept his head down to avoid greeting the many people who were familiar with him which it could safely be said was the majority in there. He made his way past the close sweaty bodies grinding against each other to the beat of an overplayed song to the room where he was sure to find who he was looking for. When he entered the room his name was screamed out which caused many people to look.
"I was wondering where you were!" Taehyung slapped his best friend's shoulder and offered him his beer to which Jimin welcomed in his hands. He asked around for the certain someone he expected to be there only to find out the man was outback taking a smoke break. The young man excused himself and left where his friends pointed. It was there that he found him.
Boot against the bricks of the house, one hand shoved in his leather jacket while the other held his cigarette to his pale lips. Blue hair swayed to the side like the way his head was tilted, displaying the tattoo on his neck to anyone from the spot of the young man. He walked up to him, his presence completely ignored until he was close enough that a hand could be slipped onto his waist.
"What took you so long?"
Jimin shrugged, he traced the black ink on the skin with his finger. "Family stuff."
They don't speak very much after that, at all actually unless body language counts. Jimin pressed himself against the warm body that decays itself with the death stick that it inhaled. He rested his head on the rough material that decorated the man's jacket while he played with the pierced earlobe with an earring that resembled a spike.
"Ready to talk about it doll?"
The young man shook his head, he didn't want to.
"Do you want?"
A half smoked cigarette was held to the rose lips and very much welcomed. He held the thickness in his mouth until he came close to his relief. Then he released out the puff slowly before indulging in what was really his drug.
