Greens turning the color brown and shades of it flew right past the human eyes of the two passengers that wished to not be driving away from them. It was quiet except for the constant sound that was the engine of the car that transported the exhausted beings. Both heads were full of questions, thoughts, and prayers for a certain someone.

Jimin tapped the glass in hopes that the seeing of repetitive boring motion would set him on his path to slumber or at least a hazy state that would stop the thinking that made his head pound. He wanted to stop seeing the face of a strong young boy crying he'd seen be dragged into a house the night before. He hated having that image of Jungkook, it was so unlike him that it felt fake but it wasn't, the strong feelings he had released were real and they had to do with Jimin's brother.

The elder brother of the Park's was in denial, or so he thought but deep down he knew well that Jihyun was involved in the happenings that was driving him away from his home and caused the disappearance of beloved friend. He was convinced of one thing though, that was that his younger brother had not tried to hurt him. The full story was not known but Jimin was more than sure of one thing which was that his brother was not the one to shoot fright and anxiety into the chest of the friend who hid behind counters fearing for their lives.

"You've got smoke coming from your head."

At the statement Jimin sat up and touched the very top of his head to find nothing but perfectly dry hair. He clicked his tongue and followed it with an eye roll at his partner who smiled at his own doing. Yoongi kept his eyes to the road that drew his hometown nearer as he patted his lover's thigh.

"What is it now?"

Jimin was unsure of whether to speak of his brother or his doing.

"I know about what happened between Jihyun and Jungkook yesterday if that's what you don't want to tell me. The kid broke down completely and sobbed the whole thing to Jin while I watched."

The younger simply put his head back against the window and locked his last finger with Yoongi's. "Yeah, thats it."

"Our boy only scared him-"

"I know Yoongi, let's not talk about it."

Like mentioned before, Jimin was still in denial. He shoved the thought to the very back of his mind as they finally entered the town from which his lover was from. Jimin had heard much of it from Yoongi's stories from when he was a kid, the man wasn't the fondest of it. It was a small place with houses that tended to spread out more and more the further one drove into the residential area. However what they saw now was just the shopping centers of the place. It was unlike where they lived, it appeared more reserved. People smiled among the streets, kids ran around, overall it looked like a happy place. Jimin couldn't see why Yoongi had hated the place.

Jimin understood why Yoongi loathed his hometown once they finally reached the part of the town that wasn't as glam as the entrance of it.

The streets seemed dead, teenagers roamed the streets in groups as if in a gang. There were drunks sitting around until finally they reached where only homes were present. The final turn they did was one in which a set of boys had put out nets to create their very own soccer field. As soon as they became aware of the black car waiting at the end of the street, they stopped to look. It felt weird to Jimin to be stared down by the young strangers, Yoongi on other hand kept his face still like this was a usual thing which it probably was.

A shriek broke the quiet atmosphere that was. A thin body of what appeared to be a teenage boy waved frantically and screamed out words that got the whole group to react.

"It's Yoongi! He's back! He's back!"

Those nets were moved away in matters of a minute and they were able to park the car to the left side of the street. Once the car was stationed it became crowded by the youth that looked excited into the driver seat. A smile had formed on the face of the driver.

Jimin exited the vehicle and stood on the sidewalk while he took in the strange yet heartwarming sight. Those boys who were once so involved in their soccer game were now focused on Yoongi completely. They crowded him with smiles on their faces and sparkles in their eyes. One specific child was hugging Yoongi the tightest, tears streaming down his cheeks.

"Hyung whose that?" One raven haired boy of about the age of ten pointed to Jimin, all eyes turned the twenty year old. He shrunk under the gazes yet waved to them shyly.

Yoongi grinned. "That's who I told you guys about the last time I came. It's Jimin."

The name was followed with all sorts of greetings until they dispersed on orders of Yoongi. Most of them returned back to their game but the one boy stayed. Jimin joined Yoongi's side, he was combing the short hair with his hand and swaying his body along with the petite one.

"Kimmy you've got to let go kid. Ma's waiting for me."

The child shook his head.

"Fine, then at least say hello to Jimin."

The face that was hidden by Yoongi's loose flannel peeked an eye at Jimin. They were a dark green that would appear beautifully on a gem but it wasn't exactly the color that was recognized. They belong not to a boy as Jimin thought all along, Kimmy was a girl.

The two gave each other proper introduction then after much convincing on Yoongi's part, she let go. Kimmy let her bangs fall to her eyes as to block their puffiness from the sight of others. The boys teased her regardless but that was put to an end by Yoongi that assigned the bullies a task. They took the luggage from the trunk and hauled into the dark green house in which they had been standing in front of for a while. As the first boy reached the door, it opened and out came a small skinny woman in a dress. Without a doubt Jimin could tell it was Yoongi's mother.

The woman's cat like eyes just like Yoongi's looked to her son first then Jimin, they lingered at him. Her gaze was powerful like her son's, so much that Jimin hesitated to even step onto the porch but that of course was not an option. Yoongi led the way and the way was towards her, on the porch.

"Thanks boys!" He yelled the the children that ran back to the streets. "I'll repay later!"

By the time Yoongi was done saying so to the kids, they had reached the woman. Yoongi left Jimin's side to engulf his mother into a hug. The gesture would seem sweet to an outsider who knew nothing of the two's relationship but Jimin was no outsider. He grinned slightly as the woman's fierce eyes met his and scarily stayed there.

"Ma, let go."

She didn't. The reason for that could have possibly been that she was too busy staring Jimin up and down with a scowl on her face. When she did finally release her son, she didn't change her expression.

"Ma this is Jimin." Yoongi introduced the two properly. "Remember I told you about him the last time-"

"No I don't." The woman interrupted. "I didn't expect him to have lasted this long with you. You last visited me about two years ago, are you sure it's the same one from before?"

Jimin hadn't received that reaction from people in a long time and when he had, it wasn't so straightforward like the stern woman had done so. He confirmed to her that he was indeed the same person Yoongi had been with for the past three years to which she only shifted her look to her son then strolled back inside. The two were left outside surprised by her actions.

"She's just..." Yoongi sighed, "I'll go talk to her."

The elder left the newcomer to the town outside on his own while he went to deal with his mother. The clueless and scared twenty year old turned his body and headed back to where he had come from. Instead of getting inside the car, he got on it. On the trunk he sat watching the children play soccer to distract himself of the hell he knew he was going to have to face during his stay.

So as many of you are aware, unfortunately SHINEE's Jonghyun passed away.  As saddened as I am by what has happened I decided to upload something for you guys to distract of you of all that's happened. It's a shame that's he's gone so young but despite that I am glad that he is no longer suffering.

For those who are still mourning for Jonghyun just remember that he's better now than he was before even if means he won't be with us anymore.
