Darkness, silence, hunger, and anxiety mixed with fear fell upon the perished that gathered about the single house that was frightened to even let in the slightest bit view of the outside. While awaiting those who they missed, some few paced or stilled themselves on a surfaced.

Jimin's eyelids fell then slowly rose like a slow motion blink despite it being the closest to a normal one at the time. He stared straight ahead from his spot at the door, waiting for Yoongi to walk straight in and tell him all was well so that they could go home. However, he'd been wishing that for what felt like days and it was not coming true. Instead, all there was to that thought was false hope. False hope that everything was alright and he could go home with his lover. Reality was not that, reality was him sitting on his friends' couch with Taehyung's head on his lap impatiently waiting for anything that could set them off.

"I'll hold him if you want." Jin said, referring to Taehyung, as he strolled into the room. "You must be tired as well. Get some rest Jim-"

"No."

The young man couldn't wrap his head around why Jin kept asking or even attempting to move him from his state. It was the second time in the past half hour that the proposition was even mentioned and the second time it was denied with a harsh tone.

Jimin didn't care that his thigh ached slightly from the head on it or that there was bit of discomfort from his position on the cushion. He didn't care for any of that, or anyone who wasn't Yoongi for that matter. There had not been a flinch on his part after being dragged into the house by fearful elders at the screams of the woman whose wound was being closed off and disinfected. Jisoo cried in a way that made it sound like the help she was receiving was nothing other than torture at it's very worst.

"Why don't you listen kid?"

Gazes except that of who was addressed shifted to Jennie. She glared down with tired eyes to Jimin in pure annoyance. He said nothing in the end of the minute they waited to hear from him and that snapped something in the woman. With her palm, in a swift movement, she pushed Jimin's shoulder. Although it was not strong, there was enough force to jerk him back.

"Answer me, I asked you a question."

Fierce eyes turned those of the female, something in Jimin snapped too.

"Answer!"

The yell caught the whole house's attention and perhaps even the one next to them. The word and it's following volume was what got Jimin where he was avoiding. He stood, not caring that his friend's head would fall back harshly onto the cushion of where he once sat. Jimin stepped forward until he was only mere inches from the angery woman.

"Why don't you go to fucking hell instead of asking me to listen you shit of a leader?"

Pride was damaged or so everyone else surrounding them came to notice. Some let out a sound, as if they hyping up the argument that could very well be turned into physical fight but would definitely not let be.

"Listen kid," She scoffed. "It ain't my fault one of my girls went and got herself shot-"

"But it is that she went back to our  shop and brought shooters back with her. It's all her fault that Hoseok's missing and I haven't heard anything from Yoongi!"

Tears welled the corner of the trembling frustrated young man. His emotions were overflowing, they were becoming hard to contain. He wanted to scream so loud that his lungs would just rip to shred from how he did it. Jimin wanted to keep on blaming the woman but before he could go ahead to do so, she spoke.

"You think I'm not worried for him!? You think kid that I'm scared for shit for him!? Yoongi may be with you now but it wasn't always like tha-"

Skin slapping on skin echoed off the walls. No one moved, only stared in shock as the woman's head turned downwards and the young man breathed heavily.

"He's mine to be worried for, not yours."

Jimin walked right out of the room as the other woman in the room gathered to comfort Jennie who had remained frozen in her spot. The slap had everyone shocked except some, those who were caring for the woman and those who rushed to confront who'd hit her. Jimin got as far as the front porch before there was someone to pull him back.

"What the hell was that!?"

The man, backed by two others, asked outraged and in disbelief.

"There was no need to take it that far man! She was just worried for him! You didn't have to go and hit her! The hell is wrong with you shorty!? Can your boyfriend not have friends to worry for him too-"

"Enough!"

The face of the scolding turned pale upon seeing who had spoken. In a matter of seconds his name was called back and so were the ones standing behind him by Jiho. While they walked away, Jimin turned back to see who'd ended the confrontation, he was glad to see him. Jin was too or so he showed it in the sprint he did before engulfing Namjoon into a hug.

"My boys!" Jin cried out as reached out to pull Jungkook into his embrace with Namjoon.

Jimin watched along with Taehyung who had joined his side, eventually they too were dragged in. Although tensions were high and fear lingered in the air, a sense of comfort came from the gesture. All were scared or concerned but once being held in a group they felt a sense of peace that wasn't complete but was there. When they all pulled away they stared at the newcomers, waiting to hear anything whether it be bad or good.

 "Maybe we should go in-"

"No." Jin put his hand on Namjoon's chest as he walked forward. "Family first."

"But they are family."

"No, not like we are with each other. Either you tell us first Joon, where are the rest?"

The question they had been all been pondering was asked but by the simple facial reaction, they knew they wouldn't be getting the answer they hoped for. Jungkook shook his head before walking into the house. Taehyung followed him while Jimin stayed behind in hopes there was something for him to be told.

"I'm sorry Jimbles," Namjoon shook his head. "He hasn't reported back to me."

The couple left the single man outside to reside into his pain and guilt. Jimin blamed himself in that moment for not having dragged Yoongi out of that shop. For all he or anyone knew, Yoongi could have been shot if those people came back. He could have been taken, killed even but no one knew so all that could be done was wait. Jimin stayed outside to mourn for the lack of presence until his prayers were answered.

"You're such a baby, doll."

Warmth engulfed Jimin in forms of arms and a chest. By only touch the young man could tell who it was so he let himself be taken up upon. He left himself cry onto the shoulder he had been missing and after the tears fell, they fell hard. Sobbing was all that could be heard on the street, the hushing of the other was completely incoherent. Hearts faced each other in the embrace, happy to be reunited.

The missing peace was found.
