Taehyung turns to Princess Haewon with the same small smile he had in the beginning.
"You didn't have to be so harsh on her," Haewon says as she walks around, stopping at the long window to have a look at The Royal Garden.
"I didn't say anything that would upset her," Taehyung calmly says as he tilts his head, "I just didn't want her to listen to our conversation. It's quite... secret."
"What is it you want to talk about?" She turns to look at her brother, an unbothered look on her face.
He smiles wider, and she knows he's up to no good.
"I don't like going around in circles," He starts, staring off into distance, "So let me get straight to the point."
He averts his gaze to her. "I want Seokjin dead."
Haewon raises an eyebrow, unsurprised whatsoever.
"For what? The throne?"
He shakes his head. "Revenge."
"Revenge? For who? You're the one who killed Namjoon."
Taehyung grins, clasping his hands behind his back. "And tell me, Princess, does anyone have a proof that I did it?"
The princess doesn't reply, keeping her mouth shut. She turns around to take slow steps to her mirror, staring at her reflection.
"And what will I gain from it?"
"I'll let you rule as much districts as you want when I become king," He says, "Busan, Daegu, Pyongyang, Icheon. All yours. We'll share the throne."
"Why should I trust you?" She asks, her eyes landing on his reflection walking around the bedroom.
"If you help me, I'll have no reason to kill you."
"However," He adds, looking up at her through the mirror, "One thing you need to do is keep away from that horseman."
Haewon's eyes widen, her hands shaking a tad. Her face goes noticeably pale as she looks away, keeping her eyes anywhere but in his.
He smirks. "A princess and a horseman can't be together, dear sister."
She turns around to look at him, immediately changing the topic. "I still don't understand why you want to kill Seokjin."
The smirk turns to a smile, an almost non-evil one. Almost. Almost a sad smile, but Haewon shakes it off, knowing Taehyung never gives these kinds of smiles.
"Well, I don't have an exact reason, but if we do kill him." He pauses, shifting in his place for a moment. "I might tell you what I think why."

Haewon turns around, and walks back inside the Castle, stopping when Prince Taehyung walks towards her. She rolls her eyes and tries to walk away, but he stands in front of her.
"Having a hard time with ex-lovers, I see?" He smiles maliciously.
"Oh, do go away!"
"Obvious." He grins.
She attempts to pass him, but he holds her arm and pulls her back forcefully. She looks up at him, and notices the drastical change in his expression. His eyes are cold, cold and deep, and there's a hint of anger in them.
His grip on her arm tightens and she winces in pain.
He leans closer, and his voice is low. "I know what you're doing, and I know who you're after. Let me tell you this, it's a horrible idea. You're a Royal, and more important, you're on my side, so better think twice and watch your actions carefully before you do something I'll make you regret."
He leans back, and smiles, and walks away.
She grimaces in annoyance, walking towards her bedroom. She knows, she should stop going after someone who'll never be hers, someone who might lead to her death, and she can't die.
Not that she cares, but because she's after killing Prince Seokjin, and possibly his wife, too.

"You dont want to become king?"
Jungkook shakes his head, staring into blank space. "No, Your Majesty. I don't want to become king."
"Why not?" Yisun asks.
The Prince thinks for a while before slowly shrugging, raising his shoulders and slumping them back down.
"It seems burdensome," He says, "Being king means using your mind over your heart, and I was never good at this, Your Majesty. I follow my heart blindly, and I know it's a bad trait, especially that Busan is under my reign."
"Following your heart isn't a bad trait, Jungkook," She says with a smile, "Using it at the wrong time is. I think it should be balanced, your heart and mind, I mean, but most of all, you should be satisfied with your decision and be sure you will not regret anything. If you're uneasy, then it's not the right decision."
Jungkook nods, looking over at the Queen. "Right, thank you for the advice."
"It's nothing." She stands up, walking towards the door. "Now, if you may excuse me, I have to go."
The Prince stands to give a ninety-degree bow, and Yisun gives a nod, turning around to leave the room.
She walks down the hallway, stopping at the stairs when a familiar figure comes in the opposite direction.
The Marchioness plasters a smile once she sees the Queen, the obnoxious fuschia tint on her lips making her seem spiteful, way too much for a Marchioness, now married to a Prince.
"What is it, Your Majesty?" Says Joowoo, her head tilting to a side, "Did you see a ghost?"
"A demon, perhaps," Yisun replies, glancing at the said lady from the side of her eye, who just lets out a sarcastic chuckle, putting a hand over her mouth.
Yisun turns around, and takes a step down the long spiral staircase, then another. She lifts her foot for another step, when a light yet firm hand pushes her shoulder, and the Queen stumbles forward, her arm flailing around to hold on to the railings which seem so far at the moment.
She almost sees herself down there, at the end of the stairs, covered in blood. And her child. In a mere second, she finds her heart beating faster than ever, and almost stopping when instead of falling forward, coming in contact with a firm chest.
A big hand holds onto hers, the other on her waist, steadying her and letting her stand back up straight.
Yisun puts a hand over her beating heart, looking up at the saviour, her eyes widening when she's face to face with the Prince.
"Careful, Queen." Taehyung smiles. "Something very bad would've happened if I hadn't caught you."
He looks over her shoulder, and Yisun turns her head, glaring at Joowoo who stands her ground with a small smile on her face.
"What happened?" He asks, directing his question to his wife, "Did the Queen stumble and fall?"
Joowoo shrugs. "I suppose."
"This better be it." He averts his gaze back to Yisun. "We don't want anything to happen to the precious heir of throne, do we?"
