Four brown horses pull a carriage amidst the light of the day, stopping when the rope is pulled, right in front of The Royal Palace's Gates.

"Open the gates," Earl Jimin commands from his steed, standing on the other side of the gate. The guards run to open them, letting in the carriage known to belong to Prince Kim Taehyung.

"I see Prince Taehyung is back," The Earl mutters to himself, watching the carriage roll inside, passing The Garden and heading to the castle.

The General watches from the roof as the carriage door opens. He furrows his eyebrows at what he sees, and immediately turns around and runs to the king.

"Prince Taehyung is back, Your Majesty," He announces through gritted teeth, not quite fond of his return, but worried nonetheless.

"Oh, is he?" Seokjin lets out a sigh. "It has been a while, hasn't it? No news from him for months"

"Three months, Your Majesty."

"Yes."

"But he's not alone," Yoongi says, finally looking up to lock his eyes with the king's for a mere second only to look away again.

Seokjin tilts his head. "What do you mean by he's not alone? He's got company?"

"Yes."

"Who?"

"I don't know, Your Majesty," Yoongi says, wrecking his brains for the familiar face he saw, "It was a woman."

"A woman?" Seokjin says slowly as he stands up, walking across the hall with the General following a few steps behind.

The guards pull open the double doors and the King walks out, his head held high for the crown adornes his head.

Jimin comes from the other direction with a frown on his face and two figures following. He stops in front of Seokjin to give a bow then stand up straight, giving a knowing smile to the latter.

"Prince Taehyung is back, Your Majesty," Earl Park says, glancing at the said man behind him, "And he hasㅡ"

"Thank you, Jimin," Taehyung interrupts, sending a menacing grin at the Earl, "I can introduce myself very well as you know."

Jimin stays silent.

"What a surprise," Seokjin says ironically, his eyes scanning his brother and the unknown woman.

She stands straight, too close to the Prince and with a small unsettling smile stretched on her red tinted lips. Her ash brown hair falls in long waves a little over her shoulder, and she's dressed in a purple and black gown, a bit too extravagant for the no-occasion.

"It has been a while, hasn't it?" Taehyung says, his smile not reaching his eyes.

"Why don't we speak somewhere more private," He adds with a smirk, "Your Majesty?"

"Sure thing," Seokjin replies, glancing at the woman then back at Taehyung, "Follow me to my study room."

He turns around and walks, and Taehyung gives the woman a look before he follows, leaving her alone with Jimin.

She looks at him, and smiles wider.

"I see you developed a hobby of reading," Taehyung says as he looks around the study room filled with novels.

"I always have had that hobby," Seokjin replies.

"Not really." The younger lets out a breathy chuckle, his fingers brushing the books. "Pretty sure you hated it in your youth, but only did it for Namjoon loved it. I suppose you really do love it now, don't you?"

"Who is that woman?" Seokjin asks, and Taehyung looks at him, his fingers falling and his arm dropping beside him, but his smile stays.

"I heard the Queen is having a child," Taehyung says, "Congratulations, King; you'll be having an heir soon."

"You didn't answer my question, Taehyung."

The said man loudly sighs at that, shaking his head.

"Who is she?" Seokjin adds, his tone stern and firm. "You can't just bring a woman to The Palace as if she belongsㅡ"

"Jungkook belongs, doesn't he?" Taehyung cuts him off.

"Jungkook is your brotherㅡ"

"And he belongs to The Royal Family, I know." The Prince rolls his eyes, looking away. "But that woman belongs, too."

Taehyung looks back up at Seokjin, smiling once again, but his smile, this time, is wider as he speaks.

"This woman." He pauses. "Is my wife."

"What about this colour?" Sohye asks, holding up the palette and pointing at the bright red with her brush.

Jungkook smiles. "I like it, but don't you think it's a little... "

"A little what?" The young princess looks up, her eyebrows raised.

"Violent."

"Violent?"

"I personally don't like red," Jungkook says, looking at the princess' painting, "I'm not sure why, but it doesn't give me a good feeling."

"Is it because it's the colour of blood?" Sohye asks, picking up another paint brush.

"Maybe." Jungkook tilts his head.

"Red is the colour of love, though," A feminine voice speaks, and both the prince and princess turn their heads to the door.

"Your Majesty." Jungkook smiles. "How are you doing?"

"I'm fine, Jungkook." Yisun mirrors his smile. "And you?"

"I'm doing great."

"What about you?" She looks at the princess.

"Better than ever," Sohye replies with a smile.

"How's the baby?" She adds quickly, and the Queen chuckles.

"I feel like you're more excited than I am," She says, stepping closer and looking at the girl's painting.

"If it's a girl, name her after me," Sohye says, a mischevious grin on her face.

Yisun nods with a smile. "You needn't to worry, I'll definetly name her Sohye if it's a girl."

"Is it true that Prince Taehyung is back?" Jungkook asks, and the atmosphere grows thicker.

"He's back?" Sohye asks with a small gasp, her brush almost falling from her hand.

Yisun frowns. "Taehyung is back?"

"I heard some guards talking." The Prince shrugs. "They said he came back with a Marchioness."

"A Marchioness? Who?"

Jungkook shakes his head. "I have no idea."

Yisun hums. "I shall take my leave now."

She nods once and turns around, walking out of the room. Her steps gradually become faster as she paces down the hallway, and abruptly stops when she takes a turn and comes face to face with a woman with brown hair and a purple and black gown.

The woman bows. "Your Majesty."

She stands back up with a smile, glancing down at Yisun's tum, then back at her eyes.

"What a pleasure," She adds.
