Bonnie-Anne and I enter my house and find Mary-Anne waiting for us in the living room.

'Where have you been?' She asks as she stands up from the sofa and turns off the tv.

'I was with--' I start to say but she interrupts me.

'Sheldon?'

'Yes. It was such a beautiful evening and we watched the sunset together.'

'And?'

'Nothing.' I shrug.

'What do you mean nothing? He didn't ask you to be his girlfriend?'

'Come on Mae, we just met a few days ago and barely know each other so how could we--'

'It doesn't matter Leigh, where there's love, there's a way and I see a way for you two to be together. I mean, you like him a lot and he clearly likes you too.'

'Mae, some things are just not meant to be rushed,' I say. 'So Bonnie, how was your talk with Shawn?'

Bonnie-Anne turns her neck slowly to stare at me and Mary-Anne.

What's wrong with her?

'Uh, we talked.'

'I know that. So, how was it?'

'Um, it was good. I mean, he was okay with the fact that Mae doesn't like him and has decided to move on.'

'He's okay?' Mary-Anne asks. 'Just like that?'

'Yes, he seemed perfectly okay to me. You don't expect him to brood over you, afterall you don't like him so how he feels shouldn't bother you.' Bonnie-Anne replies.

'Of course it doesn't.' Mary-Anne says.

'Okay, that's that. Now let's have dinner, shall we?' I say and go into the kitchen, humming a tune and nodding my head in sync.

* * *

'Guess who has a new boo,' Bonnie-Anne chirps as she dances into the living room. I am listening to music on my headphones but her voice is loud enough for me to hear. Mary-Anne is reading a magazine and looks up at me excitedly.

'Leigh, you didn't tell me you were dating Sheldon.'

'What? No, we're not dating.'

At least not yet.

'So who are you talking about, Bonnie?' Mary-Anne asks. She was confused now, and so was I.

'I was talking about me!' Bonnie-Anne finally says. 'Shawn and I are a couple now.' She grins as she sits in between me and Mary-Anne.

'What?' Mary-Anne and I ask in unison.

'Yeah,' she says. 'He asked me out and now we're a couple.'

'I'm happy for you, Bonnie, but isn't this a little too sudden? I mean just a few days ago this Shawn guy was head over heels for Mae and now he asked you out? It's barely been a week.' I try to point things out to Bonnie-Anne cause I smell a rat and I hate smelling rats.

'Like I said, he's gotten over Mae and wants to move on with his life.'

Mary-Anne is even more surprised than I am and wants to be sure Bonnie-Anne is telling the truth. 'You mean Shawn actually asked you out and you said yes?'

'Of course I did,' Bonnie-Anne replies and starts playing with her fingers. 'You know how much I loved him even when he was in love with you. So now that you don't want him in your life I guess I can have him in mine.'

'Sure you can,' Mary-Anne says but I'm not convinced that she is completely sincere.

Since Bonnie-Anne doesn't see anything wrong with being with Shawn then I shouldn't. I still feel like something's wrong but I will just have to see where this goes because my sister's happiness is mine as well.

It's been a few days since Bonnie-Anne and Shawn got together but they are always calling and texting one another and it's getting really annoying. She and Mary-Anne didn't want to leave, they insisted on leaving this weekend. Three days to go. Can't wait!

I and the girls with Stanley are at Jesy's house helping her plan a party. Jesy is such a party freak, just like Mary-Anne but less freaky. We decide to share the tasks to make things easier and faster and while everyone is busy doing something, Jade just waltzes around making sure everything is okay. My phone rings but before I could move a muscle Perrie answers it and my heartbeat quickens.

'Oh hey Mary-Anne! What's up?' I hear her say and my heartbeat quickens even quicker. Why is Mary-Anne calling me, and most importantly, why did Perrie have to be the one to answer it? 'Oh Leigh? She's here with us at Jesy's ... We're just helping Jesy with her party plans ... Sure you can come ... Jesy won't mind, I know...'

'No you don't,' I say and snatch the phone from her. 'Hey Mae, I'm kinda busy right now so I'll see you later, bye.' I end the call and glare at Perrie, Jesy is also glaring at her and so is Jade and Stanley.

'Perrie!' Jesy screams. 'Look what you've done you fool.'

'What have I done?' Perrie asks innocently.

'You just went ahead and frickin invited Leigh's sisters to my party. That's what you did!'

'But what is so wrong in that?'

Is she really still asking that?

'Everything is wrong with it. Have you forgotten what my sisters are capable of?' I ask, exasperated.

'I'm sorry, I didn't know you didn't want them at the party.'

'If they break anything, damage anything, destroy anything, burn anything or stick chewing gum on anything, you're frickin going to pay for all of it and I mean it,' Jesy states and continues with what she's doing. After a few seconds she turns to face me. 'No offence, Leigh,' she adds.

'None taken at all,' I say. I just hope my sisters don't do anything crazy or stupid at this party. Knowing them, this hope may be hopeless.

I and my sisters are in front of Jesy's house ready to party. I'm wearing a black minidress with gold hoop earrings and moderate makeup. I look simple yet chic, compared to my sisters who are wearing heavy makeup and humongous earrings.

Before we go in, I decide to "warn" my sisters so they don't misbehave, although I can't guarantee they won't. But it's worth a try, isn't it? They promise to "behave" so I knock on the door and Jesy opens it.

'Wow Leigh, you look goood.' She stresses the "good" for emphasis and I laugh.

'So do you,' I say. And she really does look good tonight, with her new pink hair and glam make up.

'Come on in, you don't wanna miss this party.'

'Of course we don't,' Bonnie-Anne and Mary-Anne chorus as they go in.

I don't have a good feeling about this but hey.

Just as Jesy and I are about to go inside, someone calls out to us and we turn around to see Perrie and Jade coming towards us.

I wonder why Jade is dressed in white because we all agreed to be on black for the party.

'I just felt like wearing this, I look so good in it,' Jade replies when I ask her why she is wearing white.

Classic Jade.

We compliment each other's looks and Perrie starts telling us about how long it took her to choose an outfit and makeover for the party.

'Come on girls, let's go inside, the party's not outside,' Jesy finally says and we go in.

I say hi to the people I know, mingle with new people, get myself a drink and go to meet my friends who are already on the dance floor.

'You girls having a good time?' Jesy asks us.

'Yeah we are,' Perrie says and we all scream in affirmation.

I'm enjoying myself to the fullest until I see my drunk sisters dancing around like monkeys.

Oh god.

'Leigh, what are your sisters doing?' Jesy asks.

'Dancing?' I say and smile but Jesy doesn't smile back.

Bonnie-Anne saunters towards us. 'C'mon girls! Come join us!'

I and the girls try to stop them but they're too drunk and continue dancing. Mary-Anne even climbs a table and starts tap dancing in her high heels. I wonder how she even manages to keep her balance in those heels and in her drunken state. She looks so stupid right now because she's not tap dancing but humiliating herself and by extension, me.

This isn't good.

People start laughing, taking pictures and getting it on video. A nice lady finally helps her down from the table and she and Bonnie-Anne dance over to a group of guys who are checking them out and offering them more drinks. They start dancing with them intimately and I get alarmed.

I go over to them and help Mary-Anne over to a chair, while Jade helps Bonnie-Anne to another chair.

'Wow Jade, you're so pretty I'd marry you,' Bonnie-Anne says and giggles.

'I'll pass,' Jade replies.

'I need to take them out of here before they do something completely crazy.'

'That's nothing to worry about cause they've already done that! Just get them some water,' Jesy says.

I give them water but they refuse to take it insisting that they want more booze so Jade and I take them upstairs. I insist that they stayed in separate rooms, just in case. I make sure that they both fall asleep before I go back to the party.

The following morning, when I am busy in the kitchen making breakfast for my sisters, they enter the kitchen.

'Hey Leigh,' Mary-Anne says as she sits on a stool.

'Hey,' I say without sparing her a glance.

'Good morning Leigh,' Bonnie-Anne says.

'Morning,' I say without looking at her.

'What happened last night at the party? I woke up with a bloody headache and can't remember anything from last night.'

'You got drunk, did some stupid crazy things, but it's okay,' I say and they both groan.

'Oh my god, we're so sorry Leigh. We broke our promise.'

'Won't be the first time,' I deadpan and serve them some lemon and lime juice. 'Here, they're freshly squeezed.'

'Thank you.' Mary-Anne moans as she downs the entire glass and I pour her another. 'I really needed this, I puked twice this morning.'

'Gross, nobody needed to know that,' I say and pour myself a glass.

'What did we do last night when we were drunk?' Bonnie-Anne asks.

'You don't wanna know,' I say and drink my juice then serve them breakfast.

Before I could sit down to eat, they both hug and kiss me on either cheek.

'Thanks Leigh, you're the best sister ever!' They say and dig into their food.

I smile at them and am about to take another bite of my food before my phone rings. My heart skips a beat when I see the caller.

'Hi Sheldon!' I say before I could stop myself.

'Leigh-Anne, is everything okay?'

'Yes! everything's perfectly okay.'

'Good. Will you go out to dinner with me tonight?'

Butterflies start to ballet in my stomach but I try not to sound too excited. 'Sure, I would love to.'

'Great, I'll pick you up by eight.'

'It's a date.'

'See you tonight sweetheart.'

'See you,' I say before the call ends.

'So you have a date with Sheldon?' Mary-Anne asks.

'Oh my god Leigh, he finally asked you out! I knew he wouldn't take long,' Bonnie-Anne chirps.

'So when's the date?'

'Tonight,' I say and they shriek.

'Oh my, we need to get you a befitting outfit for your date,' Mary-Anne says.

'You do know the date is tonight and it's still morning,' I say.

'We know that, but the clock is ticking. We need to call your glam team,' Mary-Anne says and I groan.

'I don't need them now. I only call them when I have a special event to attend.'

'But this is way more special, your first date with Sheldon.'

'But it's not my first date.'

'Whatever, just get ready to be glammed,' Mary-Anne says and I know that it's the end of discussion.
