It's been about ten minutes since Ava has been talking with Shawn at the bar counter. I wonder if he's taken the bait, Bonnie may show up any second. I glance around to see if I would see Bonnie and I see her with mom and Mrs Leighton, they are cooing her and pinching her cheeks. Mom looks at me and winks at me, she's probably doing this to distract Bonnie.

Bonnie is finally able to escape from her cooers and starts looking for Shawn but my girls stop her.

'OMG Bonnie-Anne I love your dress, it's so gorgeous!!' Perrie screams.

'Who designed it?? I want one just like it!!' Jade also screams.

'Come on, tell us all about your dress!!' Jesy says drawling the "all". I chuckle, my friends can be dramatic sometimes.

I look over at Ava and Shawn and Ava gives me a thumbs up. I walk over to Bonnie.

'Bonnie, where is Shawn?? I haven't seen him since I got here.'

'I was with him a while ago, don't know where he went.' Bonnie says, looking around.

'Maybe he's having a drink at the bar, you know just enjoying the party.' Jade says and shrugs. 

'I'll go check.' Bonnie says and goes to the bar counter, we just follow suit.

Bonnie is going to be very upset and heartbroken after this but it's best if she finds out the truth about her so-called fiance before he ruins her life.

To our greatest surprise neither Shawn nor Ava was at the bar. Where could they have gone??

'You looking for Shawn??' A guy at the counter asks.

'Yes, have you seen him??' Bonnie asks.

'I don't know, saw someone who looks like him leaving with a blonde, she was very attractive.' He says and laughs then drinks some more. He seems a bit drunk but I know he's talking about Shawn and Ava.

Bonnie doesn't say anything but just goes outside.

'Do you think Ava took Shawn to her house??' Perrie asks.

'Not likely.', I say, 'He probably wanted them to go outside so Bonnie wouldn't see them.'

I look around, everyone is still having a good time, Mae is stuffing all kinds of food in her mouth with a grumpy look on her face, she's probably still mad that mom asked her to stay away from Shawn. Sheldon is now trapped with my mom and his mom as they coo him and pinch his cheeks.

I follow Bonnie outside and join her in her hiding spot as she eavesdrops on Shawn and Ava. She looks really hurt just seeing them together, I wonder how she'll feel when she finds out what Shawn has been doing.

'Please don't leave, I'm telling you, I don't love her at all.' Shawn says.

'But you agreed to get married to her.' Ava replies.

'That's only because she's madly in love with me and I didn't want to break her heart. I don't have any feelings for her but I have feelings for you.'

Don't you mean, you have feelings for her money. Jerk.

'We can't be together, you're already engaged to her and in a couple of months you'll get married. I don't want to be a third wheel.'

'We won't get married if you don't want us to. I'll call off the engagement right away.'

'But what about your fiancee??'

'Just forget about her, I don't care what happens to her, I never loved her so she doesn't matter to me. We can get married and buy a new house, we can even move to the US like you suggested. Anything to make you happy because I love you.'

'Wow Shawn, you are so romantic.' Bonnie says as she walks towards them.

'Bonnie-Anne, what are you doing out here, you should be inside.'

'I could say the same to you Mr lover boy.'

Shawn was shocked, he kept glancing at Ava and back at Bonnie.

'Bonnie-Anne, I can explain.'

'I think you've explained well enough.' Bonnie says as she goes inside and Shawn follows suit.

I come out of hiding, 'It worked!!', I say as I high five Ava.

'Shawn asked me to come outside so we could have some privacy, I didn't want Bonnie-Anne to miss out on our convo so I asked the guy at the counter to tell her where Shawn was.'

'Thank you so much Ava, you have really helped me a lot today.' I say and hug her.

'You're welcome popstar, but you owe me.' She says as she drives off.

I go inside and find Shawn still begging Bonnie.

'I swear, I would never do anything to hurt you, that girl was forcing herself on me you have to believe me.'

Dude give it a break, your game is up.

'I believed you and what did I get in return?? Betrayal. I chose to trust you over my sister and what did I get from that?? Nothing, nothing but betrayal. You betrayed me Shawn, I loved you with everything in me and you were ready to break up with me just like that??! How could you possibly expect me to believe you now.' Bonnie looked hurt but she wasn't crying or sobbing, her voice was very clear and full of rage and disappointment.

'Bonnie-Anne.'

'Don't you dare call my name!! And don't you dare touch me!!' Bonnie pushes his hand off her and he nearly loses his balance.

'You've been lying to me all this while and worse still, you never even loved me, I should've believed what Leigh told me about you. I gave you everything; my love, my trust, my time and my money but now, I'm taking them all back and I mean all.'

'You can't do this to me Bonnie-Anne, don't leave me broke please, don't forget how much you love-' Before Shawn could finish his sentence, Bonnie hits him hard across the face and he stumbles back in shock and pain.

'Bonnie-Anne please, they've brainwashed you, don't do this please.'

Mae comes out of nowhere and slaps him harder, this time he had to use the counter to keep himself from falling.

'We're neither blind nor deaf Shawn, I also saw and heard everything. You wanted to ditch my sister for that rich blonde!!' Everyone gasps and start murmuring.

Mae must've followed Shawn and Ava outside while she was stalking him. Mrs Leighton had a very disappointed look on her face, I know how much she loves her sons.

'Shawn, is this true??' Mrs Leighton asks her son.

'Of course not mom, these people are just trying to frame me, I've done nothing wrong.'

Mom slaps him and he falls to the ground, 'That is for using my daughter and breaking her heart.'

'I can't believe this.' Mrs Leighton says, almost to herself.

'I'm sorry Mrs Leighton, but the truth had to be revealed.' I put my hands on her shoulder as a few tears fall down her cheeks.

'Your game is over Shawn, and to think I was in love with you. I know better now.' Mae says as Shawn struggles to get back on his feet.

'I will take back everything I ever gave to you, including this house, your car and every penny in your bank account. You don't deserve anything, not even my hatred.'

'I'm sorry Bonnie-Anne, please don't do this to me.' Shawn continues to plead.

'Shut up or else I'll get you arrested for fraud, just be thankful I'm being lenient with you.'

Just then, the police come in.

'Are you Mr Shawn Leighton??' The inspector asks.

'Y-y-y-ye-ye-yes.' Shawn answers.

'I called the police immediately I found out the truth about Shawn. He doesn't deserve to roam free, I'm sure after he gets out of jail he'll think again before using anyone just for their money.' Mae says.

'No wait, she's gonna take everything away from me. I won't even have any money to hire a lawyer.' Shawn drops to his knees still clutching his now sore cheek.

The police ignore him and handcuff him.

'Where you're going, you won't be able to bother anyone for a long time.' One of the officers says as they take him out of the house.

'I'm sorry everyone but as you can see the party is over.' Sheldon says as the guests start to leave.

'I should've listened to you Leigh, I should've known better.' Bonnie cries on my shoulder.

'You wouldn't have known, you were blinded by love.' I say, trying to console her as I rub her back.

'I'm sorry Leigh, I'm sorry Sheldon, I'm sorry mom.'

'It's okay Bonnie, the most important thing is that you've found out the truth.' Mom says.

'I'm also sorry mom and Leigh, I shouldn't have been so rude to you. And Bonnie, I'm sorry for picking silly fights with you over Shawn.' Mae says as she hugs Bonnie who is still hugging me.

'What would we have done without you Leigh, thank you so much. You're the best sister in the world.' Bonnie says.

'I know.' I say as I rub my sisters' backs.
