MARY-ANNE'S POV

I'm helping Bonnie-Anne select a dress for her engagement party. We had ordered five dresses that she liked the previous day and now she was trying them out to see the one that fits best. Leigh-Anne had gone out for lunch with a friend and made us promise to behave. After a while we finally decided on an elegant purple velveret dress with black sleeves.

'OMG Bonnie you should totally wear this one to the party. It's the only dress that's not only gorgeous but suits you perfectly.' I say.

'Yeah.' Bonnie-Anne smiles at herself in the mirror. 'Shawn is gonna love it.'

I got a bit jealous but I had to control myself. Yeah the dress looked really good on her but I will definitely wear something better.

'I can do your make-up.' I say excitedly.

'Um, don't take this the wrong way but I'd rather have Leigh do my make-up.' she says as she hangs the dress.

'Okay, that's cool. You're the bride after all. Your happiness matters.'

'Thank you Mae.' Bonnie-Anne says and gives me a serious look. 'But is my happiness really all that matters to you??'

'What are you talking about??'

'I know you don't care about my happiness, Mae. You're just pretending, I actually didn't think you'd be able to keep it up for this long.'

So she knows, good for her. 'You know Shawn loved me first.'

'And you know Shawn loves me more.'

I smirk. 'And how do you know that for sure?? You know, I am his first love.'

'That doesn't matter anymore because we are engaged now and very soon he'll announce it to everyone. So why don't you just forget about him and move on, it'll do you much good.'

'I am the one who's supposed to be engaged to Shawn, you fiance snatcher.' I say and throw a watch at her.

'Hey, that's Leigh's watch, be careful!!'

'You're the one who needs to be careful Bonnie. Shawn is mine and you're gonna get in trouble when you take what's mine.'

'What?? You're out of your mind, Mae. Shawn is my fiance and can never be yours.' Bonnie-Anne says, about to leave the room but I pull her back by her hair and she stumbles back. 'What the heck Mae??' she says.

'Listen to me Bonnie, I am going to get married to Shawn and you won't even be able to do anything about it.'

'You know, I actually felt bad for Shawn when you rejected him. But now, I'm happy you did because now he can get a chance at true happiness. Something he can never have with you, ever.' Bonnie-Anne spits the words at me.

What she said really made me angry and I couldn't take it anymore. Who does she think she is?? I yank her stupid hair harder and she falls to the ground, screaming.

'Mae!!' she screams and struggles to get up on her feet.

'Don't Mae me, you backstabbing thief!!' I say and push her, making her fall back to the ground before being able to get on her feet.

Bonnie-Anne pulls my leg but I kick her hands away and in the process, lose my balance and fall right on top of her. She quickly pushes me off her and starts to hit me. I try to get up but she drags me back down and we start fighting and cussing each other on the floor. As we hit the dressing table a perfume falls on the floor and breaks but it doesn't stop us from fighting. Few seconds later Leigh-Anne enters the room, a look of worry on her face which immediately turns to anger on seeing me and Bonnie-Anne.

Uh oh.
