Live Forever

Liam's POV:

Today is the day. the day I get married to my best friend, Jiselle. I stood at the end of the alter, with the priest, as I waited for Jiselle to walk down the aisle. I rocked my body from side to side, before clasping my hands together. My heart is racing and my whole body felt shaky. Louis, my best man, came and pat me on the back before lining back up on the side when the music began to play. My heart stopped as I looked down the aisle, waiting for Jiselle to walk down.

The bridesmaids walked down the aisle starting with Lyndsey, followed by Sara, and then Jiselle's childhood friends. I looked over at Lyndsey and Sara, giving them each a smile. I turned my attention back down the aisle. Jiselle came around the corner dressed in an elegant black dress with a low cut in the front. Her hair was worn down with the sides resting on her shoulders. Her bouquet of flowers contained baby's breath and black roses. I couldn't breathe and each step she took down the aisle, made more tears build up in my eyes so I fought them from from running down my cheeks.

When she reached me, I took her hand and led her close to me. Jiselle passed her flowers off to Lyndsey before the both of us walked over to the priest where our wedding ceremony began.

"At this time, the couple with exchange vows." The priest announced.

Jiselle and I faced each other. I reached in my suit and pulled out a piece of paper that I had written my vows on. My hands were shaking so it took me a little longer to unfold the paper. When I did unfold it, I began reading, "Jiselle, we have been through a lot from the first day that I met you to this moment in time. I remember meeting you for the first time, your smile was so bright and you personality hasn't changed. You are still the same stubborn woman that I met. In a good way. I have also seen you grow throughout our time together. I can list all the things I love about you but I would rather show you for all the days to come. So, I promise you that I will love you and take car of you for the rest of our lives together because I love you, Jiselle."

I folded the paper back up and stuffed it in my pocket. When I looked up at Jiselle, I saw her smiling and blushing intensely.

"That was beautiful." She mouthed.

"I can't remember what I was gonna say so I wrote it down as well," Jiselle chuckled as she looked back at Sara who handed her a piece of paper. "Liam, when I first met you, I didn't think we were gonna go far but I'm glad that we did. You have grown on me so much that I have learned how great of a father you are to your son, but more importantly you are a great partner and you're my best friend. I look forward to our future together."

Her vows left me speechless and made mine feel inadequate.

"May we have the rings?"

Just then, my son Bear ushered over to us. I took Jiselle's band while she took mine from the pillow that Bear brought. Then, she Jiselle held hands with Bear.

"With this ring, I take you, Liam Payne, to be my husband." Jiselle proclaimed as she slid the black band on my finger.

I gently grabbed Jiselle's hand and held the ring in front of her finger while I said, "With this ring, I wed the."

I slide the ring onto Jiselle's hand and stared into her eyes.

"I now pronounce you Mr. and Mrs. Payne! Liam, you may kiss your bride." The Priest pronounced.

I gently placed my hand on Jiselle's neck, as I guided her soft, silky lips to mine. When our lips met, I gave her a sweet kiss that sealed our marriage. When we pulled apart, I whispered, "I love you."

She smiled and replied, "I love you, Liam."

I picked Bear up and held him in my left arm. I took Jiselle's hand and the three of us walked down the aisle together. As husband and wife. As a family.

Jiselle's POV:

Liam and I stood in the middle of the dance floor, as we slow danced together. Our wedding turned out beautiful, it was everything Liam and I wanted our special day to be. He looked absolutely handsome in his all-black suit and Bear was the cutest thing in his mini suit.

"That dress is outstanding," Liam whispered.

"You like it?"

"Yeah, I like it!"

"What do you love about the dress?" I asked.

"Well, it has a sexy low cut in the front. Lace for the top. The black isn't too powerful to where it looks goth, it's just right to where it looks beautiful." Liam explained. "But, I can't wait to take it off of you tonight."

I shook my head and laughed.

"You haven't changed," I laughed.

"Nope but that's who you fell in love with, right?"

I nodded my head and looked up so I could kiss him on his soft lips.

"I did," I admitted.

Just then, the music stopped playing and I heard the microphone turn on. I turned around and leaned against Liam, while he wrapped his arms around me. We stood on the dance floor while Sara held the microphone and a notecard in front of her.

"Excuse me for interrupting the dancing but I would like to say a few words to my girl, Jiselle, and her husband, Liam." Sara began.

Sara took a deep breath, before glancing at her note card and beginning her speech.

"Wow, I can't believe we are here," Sara began. "I still remember when my husband, Harry, came into my office and was like, I've got a friend looking for a partner which is where he and I got the idea to set Liam and Jiselle up. At first, I didn't think it would work out between you two, mainly because Jiselle is very headstrong and she ain't gonna give in easily but you both have been through a lot together and I'm glad that it worked out for you two in the end. Now, even though I love ya both, Liam you better take care of this girl because she goes out of her way to take care of things and if I hear one thing wrong, I will be on your ass."

Everyone started laughing but Liam knew very well that she wasn't playing.

"Congratulations, you two," Sara added.

Sara passed the microphone off to Lyndsey before she sat down. Lyndsey made sure the microphone worked before saying, "My speech ain't that iconic but it is short."

My head went back as I laughed at Lyndsey's comment. Iconic will always be linked to her.

"First off, congratulations to the happy couple! I've seen you two grow together and I am happy that the knot has been tied. Now Liam that doesn't mean my eyes won't be watching. You know what I will do if ya don't treat her right but I love ya both and wish ya the best marriage." Lyndsey publicized.

I clapped my hands after Lyndsey's speech with a wide smile on my face. My girls killed the speech session. It felt nice to know that my girls had my back if Liam screwed up. He should be afraid of them.
