Baekhyun's POV

It was Saturday and somehow my friends were able to convince me to go to the skate park.

Which would not have been a problem of I knew how to skate.

I know what you are thinking. Just tell your friends you can't skate and get over and done with it but no. My pride will not allow it.

I can do so many things but I'm crazy embarrassed I can't do something as simple as skating.

"Hey Baek. Come join us" Luhan, Chen and Xuimin called while they roller skated past me.

"In a minute" I called back still pretending I was riding my shoe laces.

I can do this. Even 5 year olds are doing this effortlessly so why should I worry. Just one step after the other. I will be perfectly fine. Right.

I stood up straight before letting go of the rail and moving forward.

You see so far so good. I keep my focus on my feet so imagine how I panisked when I heard someone shout 'WATCH OUT" before someone collided into me sending us both crashing to the ground.

I was frozen in shock as I gazed into familiar dark eyes that I did not plan to see anytime soon.

I lay on top of him with one of his hands wrapped around my waist.

Like the first time I was trapped by his beauty and my mind went wild thinking about his pink full lips would feel against mine.

"Aagghh...Not you again" he said as he groaned in pain.

I snapped back to reality and immediately stood. I tried to help him up but almost fell on my butt when he caught me again.

I blushed because our faces were inches apart.

"You should really carry a warning sign because you're definitely a walking danger zone" he deep voice was laced with anger as he looked at me with an annoyed expression.

I was now over his good looks and remembered why I had hated him in the first place.

"But..."

"Watch where you are going or next time you won't be so lucky or you might get someone killed" he  cut me off and left on his skateboard before I could say another word.

I wanted to scream profanities in his direction but I held my tongue when I remembered a lot of younger children were at the skate park.

"You ...should... have... been ...there" Luhan struggled to speak as he kept laughing.

"He literally flew in the air" Chen said as everyone burst into laughter.

Sehun and Kris were being told about my fallout at the park and I was embarrassed they made a big joke about it.

They have been laughing at me all weekend.

"Baek...why didn't you...just tell them...you couldn't skate?" Sehun asked.

"Because...I didn't want to seem like a loser" I whispered but they still hears me.

"Baek you can do almost everything. Even if you couldn't failing in one thing will not change our opinion of you" Xuimin said and everyone else agreed.

I smiled loving the way my friends cared for me. I guess I was overeacting.

"I can teach you if you want" Kris said with a smirk.

"I doubt you will succeed" I said. If my dad failed to teach me I doubt anyone else could.

"I have my methods" he said and I just smiled in return.

It was after school and we were all in the music room when Mr Kim walked in.

"I have good news" he said and everyone settled down.

"I have completed the script and lyrics for our musical performance and all you guys will have to do is add on here and there" Mr Kim said passing around a thick document I assumed was the script.

"It took me a while and it was a tough decision but I also added the list with each person's role in the musical.

"WHAT THE FUXK" Kyungsoo yelled out of nowhere. I looked in his direction and was met with his famous glare.

I felt a shiver of fear go down my spine.

"Kyungsoo is there a problem?" Mr Kim asked.

"Why the hell...I mean" he took a deep breath before proceeding, "...why does Baekhyun get the leading part. I always get the leading part" he said and I could see that he was extremely angry about this.

"Yes you usually get the lead but for this specific piece Baekhyun's voice suits the role best. Don't worry Kyungsoo you still have a pretty big role" Mr Kim said before turning to the rest of the students.

I could feel my step brothers burning stare but pretended not to feel it. I felt like a dead man walking but it wasn't my fault my voice suited the role.

"According to the list I put you guys in pairs. You will practice with your partner for the next two weeks before we get into serious rehearsals. That's all for today. I need you all to take this seriously and practice hard" Mr Kim discussed a few more things before we were dismissed.

Kyungsoo left in a rush and he was literally fuming.

"So do you want to meet at my place or yours" Kris asked getting my attention.

"What?" I asked a bit puzzled.

"You're my partner and so that means we need to meet up and practice. Mr Kim said we need to take this seriously remember" he said.

"Oh" he said as I finally looked at the document realizing that what he said is true.

Considering that Kyungsoo will be home most of the time I wouldn't want to practice there. He might murder me thinking I'm rubbing it all in his face.

On the other hand I don't know Kris well enough to be alone with him in his house.

He was handsome and cool and obviously wanted to get into my pants but I like to get to know a guy a bit more before putting myself in a compromising position.

"Lets meet at a neutral place. Like the park" I suggested and he didn't like it but agreed.

"I guess its a date" he said as he smirked at me. That smirk was definitely doing damages to my insides.
