as we get into the car and drive down to the party, all I want to do is throw up. I really don't want to go to Savannah's party, because i know something is up. Why would she invite me? i havent talked to her in Years, not since middle school. Maybe she thought if she invited me then she knew that Shawn would come.

Honestly if shawn wasnt here right now, i would be a mess.

besides that, i know that Will is going to be there. i know i only just met him a fan days ago, but i definately want to get to know him more.

"hey are you hungry? maybe we can get a burger or something before the party" shawn looks at me and smiles as i shake my head.

"i already ate" i lie, as a fake smile spreads across my face. I dont like lying to shawn, but i need to. i always feel self-concious about my weight and the only way i feel better is if i dont eat at all. he sighs and pulls into Savannah's driveway. he shuts off the car and sighs. 

"Mel is something wrong? I'm really starting to worry" he looks at me helplessly. 

"No Shawn, there's nothing wrong. I'm fine" I lie, unbuckling my seatbelt. 

"Melanie I know something is wrong please just-" 

"Shawn I'm fine! Jesus Christ just drop it!" I yell, feeling guilty the moment I said it. 

"Okay" he mumbles softly, as I get out of the car. 

I walk inside Savannah's house as Shawn walks behind me. A lot of memories come towards me at once as I see everything still the same way it was. Her house was big, we would always run around pretending to be princesses. Even then she wanted to be the queen. 

When I look behind me Shawn has already disappeared, l shrug and turn around running into someone else. 

"Hey" the deep voice said, chuckling. 

"Hey Will" I laugh. 

"We really need to stop meeting like this" he smiles wrapping his arm around me while the other holds a drink. 

"You drink?" I question. 

"Yeah but if you don't want me to I won't" he shrugs tossing his cup into the trash. 

"You can, I was just curious" I chuckle. 

"Well would you like something to drink? Maybe punch?" He says as we walk over to the counter that is full of alcoholic beverages. 

"Yeah punch sounds fine" I nod as he pours me a glass. I look around trying to find Shawn but I still can't find him anywhere. 

"Here" Will smiles, handing me my drink.

When Melanie and I walk into the party all I could think about was the way she yelled at me. I know deep down I frustrating her, but I really want to know what's hurting her. I want to make her feel better, and all I want to do is hold her and talk about her, do cute stuff with her but I'm just a friend. 

I can't overstep my boundaries.

Why do things got to be so complicated? Why can't I just go out and say how much I want to be with her? But it's not that easy...

I have to wait.

"Heyy!" Savannah says pulling me by the arm. "I knew you would come! My baby wouldn't want to miss me" she whispers into my ear. 

"Savannah we are not together" I say flatly, pulling away from her. "I'm going to find Mel" I roll my eyes and look around. 

"Why? She's already to busy with someone else" she says pulling me to her again. 

She's with Will. 

Those three words were enough to make my blood boil. 

"I gotta go" I grit my teeth pushing Savannah away from me. 

"Why? We haven't even got started yet" she whimpers, pulling on me again. 

"I said I have to go." I snap looking back at Mel and seeing her lips on his.

"You look beautiful tonight" Will says as I blush. 

"Thanks" I smile as I slow song comes on. 

"Would you like to dance?" He says as I finish the rest of my punch. How many have I had?

"Yeah sure" I chuckle as his hands settle on my waist and we sway back and fourth as my arms wrap around his neck. His piercing blue eyes just look into mine and his eyes look back and fourth from my eyes to my lips. 

"You look so hot, I can't stop thinking about you" he says, kissing me on the lips and it felt so blissful. Our kiss breaks by the sound of yelling. 

"I gotta go" I look over and see Shawn walk out the front door. 

What? Where is he-

I look over and see the she-devil herself smiling right back at me. 

I push back Will lightly and I walk over at her with a grim face. 

"What did you do to him?" I ask as she shrugs, her grin more prominent. As the alcohol began to sink in, I felt my confidence level rise; along with my anger. 

"I didn't do anything" she chuckles as I squint my eyes and chuckle back, mocking her. 

"What did you do!" I yell pushing her shoulders. 

"Oh look, miss piggy is finally using her big girl voice" she laughs. 

"Leave her alone Savannah" Will says from behind me, pulling me back to protect me. 

"Just so you know Mel" she pauses taking a step towards me, and pushing away Will. "I didn't do anything, just as always things always turn out my way. I told you to stay away from him, if you don't things will only get worse for you. Got it?" She spits.  

"In your dreams" I roll my eyes. "Come on Will, lets go" I say taking his hand and walking out the door.
