10 years later...

Yuriko had turned 20 years old. She dreamed of becoming an astronomer. She started to wear glasses. She was on her way to the Astronomy Research Society. While she was halfway there, the lost soul Amaya found her with her dull and lifeless eyes and began following her. Yuriko stopped to look at a sign. It had colourful stars on it, that had reminded Amaya of the star keychains that she gave to Yuriko and Harumi. She wondered if they still had them. Maybe they threw it away, she thought. They forgot me, didn't they?

When Yuriko reached the tall building she kept on walking to the room where all the soon-to-be astronomers would gather. She opened the sliding door, and it revealed her ex best friend Harumi. Harumi turned around after she heard the door open. Getting angry as Yuriko realised it was Harumi, she stomped away but then a hand grabbed hers. "I'm sorry," Harumi's spoke softly. Tears had built up in her eyes as she blinked them away. Yuriko glanced sadly at her. She began crying too. "I never hated you, Yuriko! I was being impulsive. I didn't want to believe that Amaya was truly gone. I-" she stopped and cried loudly. Harumi bowed down to Yuriko on her knees and continued to cry. Amaya didn't realise it but she was shedding tears too. She loved her best friends and when they made up, she felt truly happy.

At night time Yuriko and Harumi were outside gazing at the stars. They were chatting happily. Amaya walked up to them. The reason why she couldn't pass on was because Harumi and Yuriko broke their friendship. Now she could rest in peace knowing that her friends are together once again. She began to glow, and she caught sight of something she did not expect: the star keychain was used as a necklace on Harumi. And on Yuriko the star keychain acted like an earring. So her best friends never forgot about her. She smiled and said "Thank you." Then she disappeared. Harumi and Yuriko glanced behind them, both thinking that they heard Amaya's voice.

In the sky there was a star cluster that had 3 very bright stars flickering over them. That represented their friendship.
