"What have we got?" I ask a fellow firefighter Chuck.

"Fully engulfed structure fire. Looks like the water heater blew." He yells while stretching out the hose. I grab the end and run to the house. It's a goner. Must of been a full force blow.

"Any occupants?" I yell to Chuck as he is aiming the hose at the fire.
He looks over his shoulder.

"Yea one. A woman. Lucky she wasn't home!" I look over at the woman in question. She's hunched over crying.

We battle the blaze for forty minutes. But there's nothing left. Black wood and smoke is all you can see. I remove my gear and look at the lady crying. She hasn't moved. I walk over to her. I just can't resist. She's in pain and it's in my nature to help.

I bend down to her. "Hey, I'm Forest. Are you ok? Need me to call someone?" She looks up to me. Omg!

"Lannie?" Her eyes and face are full of tears and sadness but she's still the most beautiful girl I've ever seen.

I haven't seen her for four years. The day me and my brothers left. To move here to Granville. She was our neighbor when we were younger. I first met her when I was thirteen. Just hitting puberty. I was outgoing and she was shy.

What ya doing? I asked the girl next door. She was by her pool playing with some jacks and a ball. She had been crying. You could tell from the red eyes and puffy cheeks. She was cute. She looked at me and smiled. She was missing a side tooth. But it looked adorable. In a simple sundress of pastel with yellow flowers.

"I'm playing, ya wanna play?" Her voice was low I could barely hear her.

"Nah, don't know how?"

"I could teach you" she says. I shake my head and smile. Then I hear the sliding glass door open. There stood a boy. A bit older than me. He looked mad.

"Get in here Lannie, stop taking to boys!" He told her. He was rude. I don't like him much. She looks at me and says sorry and walks to door. The boy looks at me and smirks and slams the sliding door.

"Who you taking too?" Ask my younger brother Blue. He's two years younger than me. He has bright blue eyes. That's why my parents called him blue.

"A girl next door." I tell him as I turn around. "Is she pretty?" That came from my other younger brother Denny. He's a firecracker always getting into trouble. 

"I guess so." I tell them as I walk to the house. "Does she want to play with us?" Ask Blue.

"She does. But some other boy made her go in."

"Oh well maybe later?" Then we rush in the house to tell mom about our new friend.

"Forest? Omg! Forest!" She hugs me and holds me tight, nearly knocking me over. I laugh. She hasn't changed much. Her body has gotten fuller. Her blonde hair is longer. She looks like a goddess.

She released me and sniffled. Sitting back down. She has on tight fitting jeans and half crop t-shirt. She looks amazing; aside from the tears.

"I'm sorry about your house, are you ok? Do you need to call someone? You're parents? Or brother?" The boy who was at the door turned out to be her brother. He hated us and sometimes I thought he hated Lannie too. He treated her awful. Why her parents didn't do anything about it is beyond me.

"No....there's no one I'm afraid. I'll have to go to a hotel till I can find someplace else to live." She sniffles again and looks away. No one? I know her parents live in the next county. Last I heard so did her brother. But she said no one. There's a story there and I'll find out soon enough. I stand up and look around. The fire truck has been moved out and the firefighters are gone. There's just Chuck leaning against his truck. Waiting on me; I guess.

"How bout you come and stay with us? Just until you can get another place. There's no sense paying for a hotel. We're friends. I couldn't let you do that." More than ever I want her to stay with us. Me and brothers. I've been in love with her since I meet her. But she doesn't know that. So has my brothers. But Denny is still pissed at her. He loves her still; but he's so mad. Oh well, he has to get over that now.

"Us?" She ask me.

"Yea me Blue and Denny. We've live together since we moved here. We have an extra room. They won't mind." Denny might but screw him. He just has to deal.

"I don't know Forest. Denny would probably be mad that I'm there." Yea he probably will be. But I don't care. I comb my fingers through my hair. Kneel down to her again and grab her chin. She looks at me with pleading eyes. I'm a sucker. I have been lost without her for four long years. I don't date because of her. No one will ever fill my heart like she does. I only let her go because of Denny. Not this time. It's by some miracle she's even here. I'm not passing up the chance this time.

"Come on, flower, come stay with me. I won't bite....,Only if you ask me to, ok?" She laughs and stands up. She stumbles a bit and I grab her. God she feels good. I look at her and smile.

"You still call me flower?" She tilts her head to the side. Yea I do. She doesn't know why. It's my little secret. I call her that cause the first time I met her she had flowers on her dress. Pretty little yellow ones.

"Always will, where's your car?" I ask her she points to an old run down Toyota that's seen better days.

"Ok, give me your phone?" I ask her and she does. I open the phone and there's a picture of her in a bikini with a dark haired guy in swimming trunks, smiling. I raise my eyebrow and put my number and address in her phone. Gonna ask about the picture later though. I hand her phone back.

"There's my number and address. It's under; fire hottie," I wink at her "just follow me and we will get you set up, ok?" She nods. I go to walk off but she grabs my wrist. "Thank you, Forest" then she smiles. Blood goes rushing straight to my cock. I adjust myself. A bit embarrassed from it.

"You're very welcomed flower, I'll see you there. We will go and get you some clothes and other things you may need after I show you our place, ok?" She shakes her head.

"No, we will. You need clothes flower. All your stuff is gone. There's nothing left. Please let me do this for you." She sighs and nods.

"Good girl," I tell her "meet you there ok I'm just going to talk to Chuck and I'll be right behind you. I promise."

"Ok, see you there." And she walks toward her car. The death trap. Going to work on that problem also. I head over to Chuck.

"She ok?" Chucks a good guy. Always smiling. Him and his brother both married the same girl Kyra, plus she married three others. I haven't seen him happier. He loves that woman with everything in him. They all do. I pray me and my brothers can find the same happiness. We also want to share a woman. We thought Lannie was her, until Denny fucked it up!

"Yea she's an old friend, believe it or not. She's going to stay with us till she can make other arrangements." He raises his eyebrows then smiles. Cheeky bastard. He can read me like a book.

"She's the one huh? We'll go get her don't stand here talking to me." He laughs and pats me on the back.

"Tell Kyra hello and your family, we will come by to see you soon." He waves his hand and gets in his truck. I get into mine.

I need to call Denny and give him fair warning; before he comes home. All we need is a pissed off Denny. That wouldn't be fair to Lannie. I take out my phone and dial before I leave.

"Denny Man, we need to talk." He grunts.

"Hold on. Can't this wait? I'm in a meeting. It's important Forest." Always so angry.

"Look man we're going to have a guest stay with us for a while." Trying to lead him into it.

"Is that all? You called me for that? I don't care Forest, do what you want."

"Yea but...." He hung up! The fucker hung up!

I toss my phone aside and drive home. Oh well, he will find out sooner than later I guess. The prick should've listened.
I step on the gas not wanting to keep Lannie waiting. Thinking about our past. As I drive.

"Wanna bite?" Blue ask Lannie. We're in her backyard. She never comes to our house for some reason so we go to hers. We had to get our dad to come over and ask for permission. No one can tell him no seeing how he's the fire chief. Blue tries to get her to eat a banana. We notice she rarely eats. So we try when we can.

"No thank you." She answers with a smile. We're sitting in her backyard playing with our soldier men. We've been here almost a year and this is only the third time we've been over. My brothers get worried over her. They think it's her brother cause he's so mean.

"Will you marry me?" My brother Denny ask her. I look at her and wait for her reply. "No she's gonna marry me? Said Blue. He's so positive she will. She just giggles. I love it when she giggles.

"Lannie get in here now, tell your little boyfriends to go home!" Thats her brother, Derek. Blue calls him an asshole. I have agree.

"But mom said they can play!" Lannie tells him with a sad look on her face.

"I don't care what mom said. I said now!" What a creep.

Lannie gets up and bows her head. Says I'm sorry and walks in. Derek slams the door.

We get up to go home. Gathering are soldier men. 

"He's an asshole!" Blue says he always calls him that.

"Yea a big asshole!" Denny remarks.

We head home. Mom and dad are both there. Moms cooking dinner and dads reading a paper. We tell them em what happened.

"Don't worry boys. You will get to see her in school and I will go with you the next time you want to go over and play. That sound good?" My mom always has the answers.

I pull into the carport and Lannies waiting on me. She's standing beside her car and looks up and waves. Her beauty is outstanding. The wind is blowing her hair. Her body is full on hot. My damn dick gets hard again. This isn't going to be easy.

"Been waiting long?" I ask her as I get out of the truck.

"Nope just got here." We start to walk to the house. I turn to her before I open the door.

"We're going to buy you some things and then you and I are going out on a date after." I tell her. Not the best way to ask for a date but I'll improvise. She laughs and says ok.

Hot damn! Denny be damned. I'm going after this woman like a three alarm fire!
