Once the Titan war finished, I thought, "Nothing could ever be worse than this." It made me relax a little, knowing that I'd seen – and lived through – the worst.

But then Sludge Face Gaia showed up. And she was far worse than Kronos, mainly because she had numbers. Much more than Kronos had, and probably much more than we demigods had, yet we still did it. There were a few casualties of course. I'll never forget how Leo risked his life to save us all. He was the real hero.

After losing so many, yet still feeling triumphant, I thought again, "Nothing could ever be worse than this." And, like the first time, I really thought it was true.

Of course, I should have known better.
