May 12th, 2060

 It has been a solid month since I gave birth. I’m finally a mom. My twin daughter and son are cute! The moment they were born, Baek said hi. Their smiles lit up. Guess they recognized their dada. Baek carried them and rocked them gently before giving them back to me. I can’t help but fuss over them. They have Baek’s brown eyes, along with my blonde hair and freckles.  It’s like a dream. Both our parents have been visiting and bringing gifts. They’d occasionally play with the babies. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  Tsubaya came with his girlfriend to visit as well. So did Dr Quotez. The three also brought gifts and played with the babies. There were a lot of overwhelming gifts we got from our parents and the three of them but we were happy, thankful and grateful nonetheless. They weren’t fancy gifts. They were just meaningful and purposeful.

I’ve been getting into hobbies again. After feeding the children and putting them to sleep I’d draw and work on my books. Yep! I’ve become an author recently. It isn’t my job, but this is what I do on the side. Speaking of my job. I talked with my husband and we both agreed it’d be better if I became a stay at home mum. Baek definitely has a good job and makes good money, so I don’t have to worry about our family’s income. 

All this time I’ve been working hard to be a good wife, mom and daughter in-law. I’m learning the Korean language, so I can communicate easily with my husband, his family and anybody I meet. It wouldn’t be fair If I made him speak English the whole time. I still have a lot to learn though.

Dear journal. This has been a whole journey. Both the ups and downs. I’m glad we made it and I’m glad I got to experience this and write it down so I don’t forget. I’m truly thankful for everything!
