A Name Befouled

Thoughts are what create
The whirlwind of fear in me
I think too much
Even when the stark truth
Seems obvious, eying me ferociously
Some thoughts are better unattended
Lest they shall snatch away your peace
O tender heart! Do not grieve
But mere words of sympathy
Never relieves an aching soul
Tattered and soiled
A woman's dignity
Is not to be played with
For once befouled, her name
Shall always lay beneath heaps of mud
How can I seal
Your boneless mouths
Wolf like society
So keen to rip away my dignity
Eying me hungrily
And stories unheard spread
Lies, all lies
All i wish is to melt away
In a boundless oblivion
And not to feel
A burning heart
