hi and welcome to my book!!

so this was inspired by a tag i did a couple of weeks ago which I have not been able to get off my mind (also esther1m kept telling me it sounded really cool)

but right now writing a whole novel seems a bit much and would take a lot of planning, so I thought what if I do it more in a oneshot format? so instead I'll be doing thoughts, confessions and stories all based on being mix raced.

so just for as little content, I am European, African, and West Indian (the islands, not the country. I'm also part latina depending on who you ask). for those of you who do know where I come from, please accept that I want my privacy when telling people. one that may end up becoming a bit obvious is the European country, but I don't see myself revealing where I'm from in the book for the foreseeable future due to personal reasons. I also want to make this a safe space for other mixed kids like me, for others who will be able to relate even though they aren't the same mix as me (fun fact: I've never met someone who's mixed from the places I am. in the words of queen selena gomez, " I'm so ✨rare✨.") I see myself as both black and mix raced.
