You were my ocean

Silently drawing me in with your mesmerizing waves

Then spitting me out like broken shells that littered the granulated sands

For some reason I kept crawling back

Waiting for you to drag me from the salty shoreline

Only to be filled with water in my lungs and coldness in my heart
