What is happening Magnusites? Today, we're gonna dive into an idea that I've had for well over a year. It follows the timeline from a television show I used to watch with my mother: Avatar the Last Airbender. I was inspired to write this one by three different writers: IronCharizardX, Masterofstories456 and TurkeyFics. For this book, my OC Dante is gonna teach Aang the art of bending a pair of extremely rare elements: Light and Darkness.

Dante is a master of all four of the original elements: Water, Earth, Fire and Air just like every other Avatar who existed before Aang was even born. But his go-to arts are Darkness-bending and Light-bending. With these powers, Dante controls Soul Fire and Dark Thunder.

As well as their holy counterparts: Holy Flame and Angelic Thunder.

Despite the fact that they are indeed fire and lightning, Soul Fire and Dark Thunder are actually formed from the element of Darkness whereas the Holy Flame and Angelic Thunder in contrast are formed from Light. The art of bending Light and Darkness is what I call, Yin-Yang bending since a practicioner learns how to harness power from the Darkness of evil and the Light of good while using each of them traditiously, depending on the circumstances. But one can also master the ability to use both of these elements together as one. As such, Dante is known as the Warrior of Balance, because he is a master of using both Light and Darkness together in harmony. Because of this, Dante's willpower is unbreakable, and he can't be manipulated by anyone who is evil, including Zuko's sister Azula. Much like Katara's Water-bending, Light-bending has the ability to heal a practitioner and others as well. In fact, Dante's gonna use that power to cure Toph's blindness. Toph's seismic sense will be as powerful as ever, but she'll be a much stronger Earthbender since she can see with her eyes. I'm also gonna include my buddy BraedimusSupreme as a masterful Waterbender who helps Katara perfect her skills. Unfortunately, he's also mastered Bloodbending, a dark art that Katara will have to learn at some point. But unlike the timeline that we all know, Braedey isn't gonna force Katara to learn Bloodbending. Rather, he's gonna be patient and help her learn it's power in a manner where Katara will be comfortable with using it when it is necessary.
