So, I wake up this morning, have me eggs and bacon, and I'm reading 'Eclipse' from the Twilight series on the couch when my dad goes "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you. Guess who died this morning?" . And I was like "WHO?" while I had a panic attack because for some reason I though it was Janet Jackson who died. And then my dad says "Prince."

I was like WHOOOOOAAA MAN. Like, whoa. I was too young to actually grasp the whole concept of Michael Jackson dying, but as I am more mature and older now, I heard this and I couldn't believe it!

I have never been a huge Prince fan, but he was just always... there, being Prince, you know what I'm saying?

For real, tho. I wonder what him and the others are talking about, up there in the Legends Panel in the sky... I know he would be giving Michael grief, or vice-versa. They were never the best of friends (more like arch-rivals) and Prince may have played his bass in Michael's face (more on that another time) but deep, deep down, they may like each other just a little.

Anyway, on a more serious note... rest in peace, Prince. You will be so dearly missed, so many people love you and your music.
