It's sung by, John Williamson who is a famous country/folk singer in Australia.

He has some other good songs, 'Give me a home among the gum trees'

That's not actually the name but if you type that up you'll find it.
That song, my English teacher had his guitar and he said. "Sing along if you know it"

He started singing, "give me a home..." And nearly our entire English class, (which is like 25/30) started singing that song.
