Clay smacked a stone monster away from Macey like hitting a fly baseball away from your (hopefully one day more than a) friend's face with a bat. He stopped and they locked eyes for a moment. It felt familiar. Like he had done that before.

"Be gone Monstrux!" Screamed Merlock. And then a blast of pure,magnificent, blue and red (😍) light blasted the floating cloud and all the monsters froze, have being turned back to stone, and the Cloud of Monstrux disappeared with a sickening crack. It was confusing. Clay felt as though that had all happened before.

The knights all parted ways and Clay watched them leave, one by one, disappearing into the distance. He watched Macey and her parents drive away. With out being allowed to say goodbye Macey had been shoved in and forced to leave Clay, Robin, and Ava alone in the Fortrex.
