Intro: Shiloh Greene

Shiloh Greene

Hi, it's Shiloh. Shiloh Greene—yep, Greene with an "e." I worked as a ghost writer for famous and unknown writers. Although most of the stories I wrote were considered a "flop" for a reason that it's really a flop, I am still optimistic in my job. However, recently, no one has contacted me to write for them. My fellow ghostwriters also told me to stop writing because I am not really cut for it. They said that I am untalented, I am not creative enough, and my storytelling was boring as fuck.

I never listened to them. But now, I think I might quit my job. Recently, I am starting to think that they're right—but maybe, I am just approaching things in the wrong way. Look at me, I am still optimistic. But then, optimism couldn't change the fact that I am losing my one and only job.

So, I was about to quit ghostwriting, when suddenly I bumped into a man in his late 60's. He just moved in the house beside us and I helped him in his gardening without knowing who he actually was.

He's not just an ordinary man for Pete's sake!

He's the multimillionaire retired actor, Beau Hayes Ackehurst. He said to me that he just wants to live a peaceful life after the love of his life died a week ago. He moved because he wanted to live far away from the noise he got used to.

He talked about a lot of things but one thing caught my attention...

Love of his life. Interesting.

I was curious about his story—not because it's a huge story scoop—but because I was just genuinely curious, and the different expression on his face caught my attention. I told him that I work as a writer, that's why being curious was just part of my life and he told me, "Oh! That was cool." Of course, I said, "Thank you!"

Then, this is the exciting yet shocking part. Beau contacted me and he said, "...I was wondering if you can write my story. You're a writer, right?"

I asked Beau what kind of story it was. He paused for a bit and then I heard him sigh heavily... a couple times.

Then he answered after a few chuckles, "It may sound silly but I just want you to write a typical love story. My love story to be exact." Inside my head, I was like cursing and thinking, 'Fuck? Beau Ackehurst love story? I am seated!' I mean, it's Beau! The heartthrob actor and my mom's celebrity crush. Who am I to refuse?

I wasn't confident but I still grabbed it. Beau told me that I don't need to ghostwrite it and make it look like he was the one who wrote the book. He told me that he will let me write his story and tell it in my own words. This time, I am not a writer in the dark. I am 'the' author.

Beau Hayes Ackehurst was known for his four failed marriages, four divorce, and his issues with his nepo babies in the industry. He had three kids—a trying-hard model, a cringe vlogger, and a problematic yet talented singer-actor.

But, no! Beau's story is not about them—maybe some parts of it. But, this story is not fully for them.

It's about the love of his life. The one.

And no, this is not about those four women he divorced and his failed love life with them. This is not about all the women he got involved with and had kids with. It's about that one relationship that failed—and he regretted until this day.

It's about the whats and whys.

The buts and ifs.

The would've, could've, and should've.

Again, this is not about them. This story is about Beau's truths and... lies.

This is about someone who's name is already engraved in Beau's heart and soul.

This story is about two souls meeting in an unexpected way. Their two different worlds collided, then they found a common ground, and their two worlds became one. They used to enjoy the small world they created—but that did it even last? Only Beau could tell.

This is about two people who tried to run away from this hurtful world. Those who ran away from their home.

They tried. They fought.

It's just a love story. No, it's a life story.

This is about the person Beau loved first.

It's about him.
