The boys in the basement stood there with eyes fixated on the stairs.

"What was that?", Niki said.

"Daddy I no like that sound.", Jungwon said.

Jay looked at Jake. The two had a moment of telepathic agreement before going to Heeseung.

The littles were standing hand in hand behind them when the three turned around. Heeseung got down on one knee in front of them.

"Stay down here. Okay? No matter what you hear, do not come upstairs."

Jungwon and Sunoo looked at Niki. The maknae shook his head.

Jay, Jake, and Heeseung went up the stairs and into the living room.

They saw Sunghoon, wrestling their Manager for his gun. He was holding Manager back as much as he could.

The three immediately ran in.

"Hey! Stop!", Manager yelled.

"One of you call the police!", Heeseung said, helping Jake hold Manager down while Sunghoon tried to get the gun.

Jay was getting his phone and calling as quickly as he could.

Sunghoon managed to grab the gun, standing up with it, and pointing it at Manager.

"Uncle Sokwon, please stop..."

"Never! I finally have a stable life! You can't take that from me!"

Manager pushed Heeseung and Jake aside, standing up. He grabbed Jake's arm and pulled him in front of him so he was standing in between the two.

"You still want to shoot me? With your member in the way?"

"Police are almost here!", Jay said.

Sunghoon stood there, still pointing the gun.

"Shoot him Sunghoon!", Jake yelled.

"No, I don't have a clear shot! It could hit you."

Heeseung kicked Manager in the leg, making him fall. The two tumbled over each other on the ground, with Jake grabbing Manger by the back of his shirt and Heeseung helping to hold him up.

"Shoot him!", Heeseung yelled.

"Shoot him!", Heeseung yelled.

Niki looked at his brothers, they were holding hands while small tears ran down their eyes.

"Stay here...", he said, before taking off up the stairs.

"Riki come back!", Jungwon yelled.

"Riki wait!", Sunoo yelled.

Niki ignored their screams, bursting into the living room and seeing Heeseung and Jake holding up their Manager.

He wanted to help so he ran forward to try and reach them before-

*BANG*

"Hah! You missed!", Manager said.

Niki paused, the bullet narrowly passed by him, grazing him on the face.

"Ow! F***! That hurt!", Niki yelled.

That's when everyone noticed Niki standing there. Sunghoon dropped the gun and ran to him.

"Oh Riki I'm so sorry. So so sorry."

"I'm fine. What's going on?!"

Manager somehow got out of the boys hold, and went for the gun.

He picked it up before holding it to them.

The hyung line and Niki now stood facing him.

"Why can't you just let me win, for once? Just like your father."

Sunghoon stood in front of the other four members.

"I can't let you go. Not after all of this."

Police sirens were heard outside.

Manager saw the lights coming up the road.

"Just face it Uncle Sokwon...this is the end. You're going to jail."

Manager stood there, still pointing the gun at the five. Jay glanced at the other four, before doing something none of them expected.

He launched forward, catching Manager off guard and tackling him. He grabbed the gun and then...

...he fired it.

Manager held his stomach as he felt the blood seeping out.

Jay put down the gun as the police entered the home.

They secured Manager before making sure all the boys were okay.

"Jay, thank you...", Sunghoon said.

"You're welcome. Sorry about shooting your uncle though."

"I couldn't give any less of a shit about him. I'm glad you all are okay and no one got hurt. Well besides me almost shooting Niki in the face."

Niki had a hand over his cheek.

"Wait until I tell my mom about this.", he said.

"Niki you are going to be the cause of death for that poor woman.", Jake said.

The littles came running upstairs. They hugged each member individually before going to their respective main Caregivers.

"You okay Hoonie?", Sunoo asked.

"Yes baby I'm fine. We're all fine.", Sunghoon said.

The police asked Jay what happened, and he happily explained everything that went down today.

Jungwon held his hand the entire time, smiling up at him. That was his hero.

"Now we have to deal with Mr. Kire.", Heeseung said.

"At this point, just kill me.", Niki said.

"Well since you asked so nicely...", Sunghoon said.

"NO.", Heeseung yelled.

"Wasn't gonna do it...maybe.", Sunghoon replied.

(Three Hours Later)

"Mom you are not going to believe this. I almost got shot in the face. Well, I did, but it was a graze."

"Niki for f***s sake stop giving your mom temporary heart attacks.", Heeseung said.

"She said she's two seconds away from catching the first flight to Korea."

"Good. Tell her to take you home."

The group of seven now all sat in the basement.

The police understood the entire situation, and were launching investigations into Manager and Mr. Kire.

Sunoo and Jungwon were laying on each other and sleeping. They were covered by Heeseung's oversized trench coat, which somehow perfectly covered them.

Once the story if what happened reached the company, the boys were granted an extra week to their break.

"I'm glad we don't have to go back to any haunted houses.", Jay said.

"Before we get into that...you know how to use a gun?!", Jake said in awe.

"Sure do. My dad taught me.", Jay replied.

"I love you...", Jake said.

"Cute.", Niki said.

"So what do we do now?", Heeseung asked.

The boys took a moment to think.

"I have an idea for a video to film. Something Engenes will love!", Niki said.

The 02z and Heeseung looked at him.

"If they want to see the maknae line, take us to an amusement park! Imagine the three of us, littles, running wild in an amusement park."

The others thought to themselves.

"I like that. It'll be a fun stress reliever for you all. After the whole ghost ordeal and Niki pretty much having one full death experience and two near death experiences in a day.", Jake said.

"My life is a roller coaster.", Niki replied.

The sleeping babies cuddled even more onto each other, with Jungwon now fully laying on top of Sunoo.

"Someone take a picture please, this is gold.", Heeseung replied.

Sunghoon already had his phone out so he took a photo.

"I'm keeping this photo forever.", he said.

"Let's take a group photo.", Jake said in English.

"Alright, we haven't taken one in a while.", Heeseung replied, also in English.

They all crowded together, with Jake holding up his phone, attempting to capture all seven of them in the frame.

"Good that Jungwon is on Sunoo because they fit perfectly in the photo. Say cheese puffs everyone!"

"Cheese puffs!", they said in unison.

Jake snapped the photo.

"Oh that's great. I'm posting that."
