Everyone who made the town of Storybrooke itself was gone. Ruby had been told the last-minute plan by Granny just before the twister picked her restaurant up and sent it to wherever Emma was. So not only was the Savior both gone and dark, but the mayors were both gone, as were both sheriffs. So Ruby called an emergency counsel meeting that was made up of no counsel members, because Storybrooke didn't have any at the moment. However, it was the closest thing to a real counsel meeting Storybrooke had ever had.

August, Gapetto, Lily, Maleficent, the Blue Fairy, Tinker Bell, Aurora, Mulan, Phillip, Archie Hopper, Doctor Whale, and the dwarves not finding Emma were all invited. Ruby had spoke to Tinker Bell and the Blue Fairy in private, and they agreed to use magic to stop any fights between Aurora and Maleficent, were they to break out.

Maleficent and Lily were the last to arrive. When Maleficent spotted Aurora, she froze. "Why is she here?"

"Why did you invite her?!" Aurora demanded, backing away from Maleficent, even though she was plenty far already and Maleficent wasn't making any threats against her...yet.

"Because no one in this freaking town knows what the heck is going on!" Ruby exclaimed. "Everyone is gone. My Granny is gone! We have no mayor, no sheriff, no fast food restaurant - which, by the way, is where most of you eat over half of your meals - and our Savior is now the Dark One."

Lily stepped out from behind Maleficent. "Actually, I agree with Little Red Riding Hood on this one. Aurora, I don't know exactly what my mom did to you, but I have a pretty good idea. Either way, the Evil Queen made up with Snow White and is now helping to save her daughter from darkness. Can we all just put aside our differences for fifteen minutes?"

Aurora was hesitant to respond, but she finally gave in. "O-Okay. But you two both sit far away from me."

"Deal."

The meeting was going much smoother than Ruby had planned, which really wasn't saying anything at all. Sneezy and Gapetto had been elected new sheriffs. Aurora, Doctor Hopper, August, and Tinker Bell were going to be temporary co-mayors. Ruby was going to try to get a sort of Granny's up and running again in the inn. The Blue Fairy promised she and the other fairies would reinforce the border around Storybrooke, because there was no way the citizens would be able to survive an attack from a supervillain when nearly everyone who knew how to defeat them was in a different dimension. Doctor Whale promised to keep the hospital up and running in case anything did happen. He and the other doctors would be on call 24/7, and even more alert than they already were. Lily and Maleficent agreed to turn into dragons only if absolutely necessary, and Mulan and Phillip agreed to help the four new co-mayors with whatever they might need help with. The other dwarves volunteered to help Ruby with the restaurant.

Ruby and the dwarves set off to begin their job. Doctor Whale set off for the hospital to warn everyone that they would all be on call 24/7 until everyone was back, and promised Ruby he'd help her afterwards.

Aurora, Mulan, and Phillip were headed back to the inn, where they had been staying when Lily intercepted them. Aurora stepped back warily and Lily could see Mulan and Phillip tense, ready to start a fight if it came to that.

"I don't want to hurt anyone," Lily assured them. "My worst enemies in this town aren't even in this town at the moment. I just wanted to tell you that I'm not going to let Mal - er, my mom, hurt you. I don't know the real story of your pasts, but I'm sure it's complicated. But for the moment, with everyone who has ever saved this town gone, we need to work together. So just...avoid her. And I'll make sure she avoids you as well."

Aurora nodded. "Thank you..."

"Lily."

"Lily," Aurora repeated. "Thank you, Lily."
