chapter 1 meeting Eri
Izuku POV
As I was walking home from school I passed by an alleyway. Normally I pay no mind to the alley and just walk past it, but this time, it was different. As I walked past, I heard what sounded like a little girl crying and screaming. Being the hero I wanted to be, I decide to investigate. I set down my stuff in a little hole by the alley and start quietly walking down.
When I got to the end, I peeked my head around the corner to see a little girl with a single horn on her head. She had long grey hair and a terrified look in her eyes as she was being pulled by a man with... bird mask..? Alright then.
I used my telekinesis to pull the man away from the poor little girl, pushing him as far away as I can get him, which just so happens to be a river about three miles away. I run as fast as I can to the little girl. She looked very frightened. I kneel down and give her a soothing hug, while I whisper things like "It'll be alright" and "you don't have to be afraid", "He's gone now.", "I am here", into her ear.
Eventually she starts calming down, there are tear tracks still on her face, but she can breathe now and hopefully talk. "Are you ok?" I ask her softly, giving off the motherly protectiveness aura.
She nods silently into my shoulder. "What is your name?" I ask her.
"E-Eri" ,she said timidly.
"Do you have any family?" at this question I see starts to tear up again. "You don't need to tell me. I understand." I'm pretty sure that man was her father or something. "Did that man hurt you?" She nods. "It's okay Eri. It's okay."
"Wh-What's y-your name m-miss?" She asks softly.
"I am Izuku Midoriya." I respond. "Would you like me to become your new mommy?"
She looks up at me with hopeful, tearful eyes. "Y-you w-want to?"
"Yes I want to be your new mommy. It will be easier to protect you from that horrible man and it's a lot better than going to an orphanage I think." I say softly but confidently.
"Y-yes pl-please" she says softly.
"Okay then, come on. Let's go." I pick her up, placing her on my hip, and walk back to the street. I grab my backpack, slinging it over my shoulder, and start the walk home.
When we get home, I set Eri down and give her a tour of the apartment. There is a master bedroom with a connected bathroom, that's my room, a guest bedroom which will become Eri's room, and my parent's old room. I keep that one the way it is because of the memories. There is a main bathroom, a living room and a kitchen. When I get done with the tour, I sit her down on the couch in the living room for a talk.
"I have a few rules, and I would like it if you followed them, okay Eri?" I start.
"Okay" she says. 'She is so pure!' I think.
"Rule 1, you will please call me Mommy, Mom, Mama, whatever makes you feel more comfortable. Rule 2, when we are in public, I need you to call me Dad, Daddy, Dada, or Papa, again whatever makes you more comfortable. Rule 3-" I get cut off by Eri raising her hand.
"Um, why do I have to call you daddy in public, when you are a girl?" She asks.
I smile at the question. "I'm trying to be a hero, but people don't like the Idea of girl heroes, so I have to pretend I'm a boy."
"That makes sense. What are the other rules?" she cocked her head to the side like a puppy.
"Oh right!! Rule 3 make sure to always use your manners, please, thank you, etc. Rule 4, if you want to invite someone over, make sure to ask me first. Rule 5, either hold my hand, or let me carry you in public, I don't want you to get lost. Rule 6, ask me before you eat candy or a snack, since I don't want you to ruin your appetite. Rule 7, if you want to leave the house, you have to ask me and bring me with you. And rule 8, don't go in my mom and dad's old room, I don't want anything in there to be messed with or moved. It's very important to me. I think that's all, now, get ready, we are going out." I finish.
"Where are we going?"
"Well first we have to get you registered as my child, then we have to get you registered at school, we have to set up an appointment with a doctor because of health reasons, and we have to go shopping to get you clothes, stuff for your room, and stuff for school. I also need groceries."
"Okay, I'm ready!" she says. 'I swear, her cuteness is going to be the death of me.'
