Date: 30th March, 2016.

Who even created exams, ugh. I never read the chapter after I finish it so ignore my typos please.

"And like the moon, she

had a side of her

so dark, that even the stars

couldn't shine on it;

she had a side of her

so cold, that even the sun

couldn't burn on it."

ALASKA'S POV

".... yeah, okay. See you then. Love you!" I replied and ended my phone call with Liam. It was just seven in the morning but we were as chatty as always.

Today, the whole football team and I were going to bunk school because most of us weren't in the mood to go, the others decided to skip as well.

About thirty minutes later, a door opened and voices filled the house.

"Alaska!" I heard a shout and made my way downstairs after straightening my shirt.

Everyone was in the living room sprawled on the couches, chairs and sofas. I grinned and skipped to the kitchen, taking out ice cream from the freezer along with some bowls and spoons. With Leo's help, I served it to everyone.

"Isn't it too early for ice cream?" Kyle asked as he made his way downstairs, rubbing out the sleep from his eyes.

"Kiddo, it's never too early for ice cream." Sean joked.

"Do you want some?" I asked my brother.

"At seven fifteen in the morning? No thanks." He rolled his eyes.

"Are you skipping school?" Liam asked Kyle and he nodded his head 'yes'.

"If Al gets to skip, so do I." He shrugged.

"Hang out with us?" Blaze suggested and mummers of agreement were passed around.

Kyle looked at me, asking for my permission and I shrugged, "Its your choice. Don't ask me, they're your friends too." I replied.

"Okay then." He sat and walked over, sitting next to Blaze.

He and Blaze fist bumped and started talking about something. Kyle's eyes sparkled and he laughed, making Blaze smile as well.

Those two have always got along well.

Liam settled next to me and said, "They have always got along."

"That is what I was thinking." I said bumping his shoulder with mine.

"Hey guys! What do you want to do for the rest of the day?" Leo asked. The room fell quiet and everyone started suggesting something.

"I want to go to the Amusement Park." Kyle spoke up in a hushed tone when the murmurs had died down, and Blaze agreed with him. Liam said yes, Damien nodded his head, the twins said that they were in, Connor and Ashton said that they were down.

"Amusement Park it is then." I said shrugging my shoulders and smiling.

"So we have more four hours to kill, then we go there." Ashton spoke up and I nodded.

"Who want to play Call of Duty?" I asked and Ash immediately said, "Me, me, me , me."

"Okay, but I am so gonna whip your ass." I stated and his mouth fell open.

"You just did not say that!" He exclaimed and I watched him with amusement.

I smirked and set up the Xbox in the living room. I handed a controller to Ash and took one myself. I leaned against Blaze's legs, which acted as a backrest for me. He was on the couch and I was on the floor.

"Oh, this is going to be fun." Someone said and I winked at Blaze tilting my head upwards so I could see him.

I had my head on his lap and he smiled that gorgeous, breath taking smile and his and my stomach flipped, my breath got stuck in my throat.

I quickly lifted u my head and concentrated on the screen so he couldn't see me blush.

"Let's bet!" Someone suggested.

"Al" Damien said.

"Al." Zac repeated.

"Ash." Sean said.

"Nov." Blaze betted on me with a confident tone.

"Al." Liam said.

"Ash." Leo betted.

"Ashton." Conner joined him.

"Laska, obviously." Kyle butted in.

"Al." Noah and Liam said.

"Get ready to loose." I smirked and started the game.

Everyone watched us play intently and Blaze kept on taking pictures of me, in which I was sure I looked horrible with my eyes squinted, jaw clenched and the gaming console in my hand.

"Why are you clicking pictures of me? I look horrible." I had asked him while playing.

"Snapchat." He replied as if it was the most obvious thing in the world and I was dumb to even ask, and then added in, "Shut up, you look beautiful."

I had blushed and the living room erupted in wolf whistles.

"Laska, are you two dating and haven't told me?" Kyle asked.

I turned reddened and replied, " No, Ky. We aren't dating."

"Yet." Liam pitched in and everyone chuckled.

"Oh, shut up and let me play." I attempted to say it in a rude tone but all I could hear is embarrassment dripping from every word.

An hour later, our match was over and I grinned wolfishly. "Pay up." I spread my palm ahead and soon enough, twenty dollar bills were being placed in the palm of my hand.

"This is not fairrr!" Ashton pouted and I laughed, ruffling his hair.

"Life is not fair." I said back.

After two hours of playing the Xbox, Kyle and I quickly rushed up to get dressed. I barged into my room and walked over to the closet. I pulled out some blue jeans and paired them with a white full sleeved loose sweater.

As I stood there in my bra, the door of my room opened and Blaze walked in, I shouted.

He stood there, bluntly staring at my chest and didn't look away even when I called him name. He walked towards me and we were just a breath apart. I could feel his lower half pressed against me and his arms by his side. He looked into my eyes mesmerised but before he could touch me, Liam called out for us.

I stood there, in a trance but broke out of it, stepped back and I quickly threw on my sweater.

I tied up my now short hair into a high ponytail and let the bangs frame my face.

As I applied some mascara and kohl and slid on two different coloured socks on my feet, I could feel Blaze stare at me, watching my every move.

I wanted to do nothing more than kiss him at that moment but oh whale (well).

By the time I got down, the boys had already piled in the car. I messily put on my white Converse high tops and sprinted towards Blaze's car, getting into the passenger seat. He followed a second later. I took out my phone and attached the aux wire, letting the music to flow in the air.

"Put the seat belt on." Blaze ordered me.

"The park's not that far away, chill." I said, not liking the tone of his voice and how he ordered me.

"Put on the fucking seat belt, Nov." He booms, shocking me.

He clenches his jaw and grips the steering wheel tight.

I suddenly remember how Blaze's mom had died in a car accident and realisation sunk in.

I regretted not listening to him and quickly snapped the seat belt into it's place. I took his hand gripping the centre console and slid my fingers between his, intertwining our hands and I ran my thumb over his knuckles.

I could see him relax a bit and be brought my hand up to his lips, placing a feathery kiss there. Smiling. I closed my eyes, drifting into sleep.

It was cold and dark. The place reeking of alcohol and smoke, my eyes burned as I walked further in, watering slightly as I carry walking forward.

I look around but I cannot see anything, not even my own feet. The ground beneath me is soft yet firm. Like dried mud. I walk further and the ground gets muddy. I can hear the squishing of the ground as my feet touch it.

There goes my White Converse.

I walk further and I know what's coming but I can't stop. I keep on walking.

I can see headlights in the far away distance and I walk there. I stop to listen. No footsteps behind me. I heave a sigh of relief and keep on walking in the direction of the car.

Once I reach there, I look around once again. Everything is clear. I try and open the driver's door and surprisingly, it opens, without any alarms ringing. I get in and see the key in the ignition.

Well, this is different.

I switch on the car and the engine comes to life. The car purrs and I back the car, careful not to hit anything.

As I drive away, I think how I got away without being hurt this time. It is still dark, I glance at the watch in the car which reads 2:07am. The road is covered in mud and there is lots of grass on both the sides of the uneven road. I don't know where I am, I looked around trying to piece the pieces together.

As I look towards my left, I see tall tress and suddenly, I hit a tree.

Where the fuck did that come from?

Before I can get out, the car erupts in flames and I am trapped. I try to open the door but it wouldn't budge.

The flames swallow the car and I climb to the far corner, trying to escape. The temperature in the car rises significantly and I can feel my eyes closing I struggle to keep them open and son, the flames erupt higher, burning me and my screams of pain alive.

"Al! Laska! Wake up!" I was being shaken awake by Kyle.

I woke up and look around, confused. As soon as I see I'm in a car, I start hyperventilating and sweating. My wild eyes dark across the car and I calm down a bit when I see the familiar faces of Blaze, Liam and Kyle.

Blaze requests Liam ad Kyle get out of the car as he parks it on the side the road. I see fear in Kyle's eyes and concern in Liam's, I divert my eyes downwards not wanting to face them. After they get down, Blaze tells me how I started shaking and screaming while I fell asleep and how scary it was.

I panicked and my breath got caught in my throat. Beads of sweat broke on my forehead but somehow, I still felt cold.

"I can't breathe", I muttered in pain.

"Hey, just hold my hand and breathe. Breathe in, breathe out..." Blaze kept repeating those words but for some reason, breathing was a difficult task.

He was trying so hard to make it okay and he did it better than anyone had ever done, but I still felt I was going to lay in the agonising pain of panic for eternity. My face was red and sweaty, and he was starting to worry because of the way I looked, but it was normal for me.

Eventually I felt 'okay' again and I told him to leave so I could calm down a bit and after a little while of disagreeing, he did. He left. I wasn't okay. In fact I was worse worse than I was before the dream.

He was always there for me but for some reason all I could feel was complete, utter loneliness. I know some people care and I'm not alone but I can't help but feel I am.

A while later, I took a deep breath and joined them on the side of the road. There were three other cars parked too, and everyone was talking as if everything was fine, but it wasn't. In fact, it was far than fine. I smiled and told Blaze that I was feeling better and he hugged me.

"Quit lying." He had whispered in my ear as he was about to release me and I stared at him, amazed by how well he knew me.

He knew me better than I knew myself.

We got into the car, and continued driving towards the Amusement Park with Blaze holding my hand and Kyle continuously questioning what was going on.

I had not told him about the dreams. I didn't want him to worry. I just told him it was nothing but he didn't believe it. So Liam patiently explained what was going on and Kyle listened to everything, hanging on to every word.

"Why didn't you tell me, Laska?" Kyle frowned and looked at me.

"I didn't want you to worry." I shrugged.

"Why do you do that? Why do you think you are a burden to everyone?" He retorts back.

I avert my eyes and said, "I don't do that."

"Yes, you do." Blaze, Kyle and Liam said together.

I shrugged again for the nth time that day and looked out of the window. I saw all the trees pass by and they all mixed into a blur together.

Soon, we reached and everyone flooded out of the cars. I got out and I paid for Kyle and mine ticket and as we entered, the security tied a red wrist band on our hands. As we stood on the entrance, everyone meet and clicked lots of photos.

As we waked towards the roller coaster, a girl with platinum blonde hair, wearing barely anything came up to Blaze and said, "Hey! Remember me?"

The annoyance raided off Blaze in waves and he didn't even try to conceal his annoyed expression. "I told you to leave me alone."

"But I love you!" The girl pouted and I rolled my eyes.

"You know, I touch myself when I think about you." Blaze started, smiling.

I widened my eyes and I could see the girl's eye brighten up. How pathetic.

"More specifically," Blaze continued, "I rub my temples because I get my headache because you're awful." He finished with a bored expression.

"Burn", Damien and Sean exclaimed at the same time.

The boys and I fell into fits of laughter and the girl fumed. She stomped her foot like a five year old an walked away.

"Dude, that was awesome!" I high five-d him and we laughed. He looked down at me with such love and admiration that it ignited hope in me. Hope that we could be together. Like together, together.

"So, roller coaster?" Kyle said and everyone cheered except Liam, I could see his face get pale.

I left Blaze's side and walked over to him. "Is someone scared of heights?" I asked him teasingly.

"No, I am scared of roller coasters in general." A horrified expression covered his face.

"Like they twist and turn in every way possible and what if I fall?!" He questioned.

Then, widened his eyes, "Oh my God. I can see the headlines - 'A charming, handsome, young boy falls to his death from a roller coaster.'" I couldn't hold it in any longer, I giggled. He looked so damn cute.

"You don't have to go on it." I laughed lightly.

"Oh, thank God." Relief was evident on his face.

We got on the roller coaster, with Noah on my left and Blaze on my right. We 'twisted and turned in every way possible', as Liam had said and it was so much fun.

We couldn't stop screaming and laughing. We got down with wobbly legs and I clutched to Noah so as to I wouldn't fall and embarrass myself.

We went on every ride possible and brought lots of candies and food and hogged everything.

This way, Kyle and I got a chance to get a little closer too. While driving back, I had a huge stuffed bear which Kyle had won for me, a penguin which Blaze had won and a puppy which Liam had won for me.

It felt so good to be loved. All of our phones were flooded with pictures and I am sure as hell our Snapchat stories were worth seeing.

After a long ride, we met at my place again, joking around and we ordered pizza. Then it suddenly struck me.

"Hey, you guys?" I asked in a somewhat nervous tone.

"What is it?" Zac asked.

"We forgot about Liz."I said.

All the movement in the room stopped. Nobody really cared, but they had to because of me.

"Call her over for pizza." Damien suggested and I wasted no second to dial her number.

"Put it on speaker." Sean mouthed.

She picked up after a ring as if she was waiting for me to call her.

"Hey." I tried to sound as cheerful as possible.

"Hi." She replied.

"Do you want to come over for pizza?" I asked her tentatively.

"Why? So you can tell me how fun was the Amusement Park?" She spawned at me and I winced.

"About that, I'm sorry. I completely spaced." I tried

"Fine. No, I don't want to come over. I'll see you tomorrow." She hung up on me.

"Oh fuck it. Who cares?"

But a part of my brain was worrying about Liz and I felt insanely guilty.
