I chase my tail and fall on the ground panting, why does that take so much enegry? I spy a lake and get up so I can run over to it. I get to it in record time and begin to drink water, thank god this taste's soooo~ good. I hear a twig snap and I ignore it

"I swear, I saw a wolf over here" I freeze and listen, it's coming from across of the lake. I stare straight forward. ready to run when I see Laurence. I freeze as I stare at him. When he finally see's me, he freeze's as well "There you are, are you going to stay put? Or are you, wait a minute, your a dark wolf!" he yell's across from the lake. He begin's to go around the lake, trying to get to me so I do the next best thing. I turn tail, and run. I run into Garroth, and I barked in surprise, then run away from him as well

"What the-"

"Garroth! Get that wolf!" They run after me, and I can tell from thier breathing that they are begining to get tired, thing Jessica think, where should you go? Home! Zoey can cover up for me! Or I can run out the back door! Perfect!

I turn around and run toward's them, I run between Laurnece's leg's a wicked speed and run toward's home "It's going toward's Pheonix Drop!" Laurence yell's and I continue my way there. I run into the village, run past Aaron and Dante, and run into the house. I run down the basement stair's and look at Zoey

"What are you doing here!? You're going to get caught!" She yell softly at me. I hear footstep's above me and I back underneath the stair's

"It ran in here" Zoey look's at me then walk's up the step's

"What are you guys doing?"

"Have you seen a wolf in here Zoey?"

"No, I have no idea what you're talking abou- where are you going!?" Aaron apear's and I softly whimper, backing into the stair's even more when Aaron see's me, his eye's narrowed as he look's at me. I back into the wall while he walk's up to me and grab the scruff of my fur and drag me out of hiding. I whimper loudly. No, no, no, no. Their going to kill me!? I looked at him panicked when he reconizes a look in my eye's

"Aphmau?" Laurence and Garroth come rushing down the stair's and I lay down, Burrying my head under my paw's "What? How are you a wolf Aph?" I whimper again then bark for help. I spy a way out of the basement, a doggy door that i made so if i forget the dog's in the house, they can still get to me.

I dart out the door and run out of the village. The boy's quickly run out of the house. Garroth staid behind to talk to Zoey, and Laurence stopped when we got to the village gate, but Aaron staid on my tail. I whimpered and barked again. I ran toward's scale's wind and catch sight of Max's necklace. I bark and he look's at me then frown's. Crossing his arm's, I've already met his friend's. I race behind him and hide. Whimpering

"What now Jess? What trouble have you gotten into?" Aaron stop's in front of him and stare's at him

"That's my friend who's behind you"

"Then why are you chasing her?" Max ask's and Aaron glared at him

"How do you know it's a girl? Aph! Who is this!?" Aaron barked and I whimpered

"Come on man, don't yell at her"

"Why not?" I turned back into my normal self and sat crosslegged, peeking look's at Aaron "Jess, who is this?"

"M-max, my friend" I said softly and Max glared at me

"No can hear you, what's my name?"

"Max, his name is Max Aaron" The boy's stare at eachother, almost as if they were looking eachother up and down, stare down at the Max. I giggled at my thought and Max rolled his eye's

"Don't tell me you found another one Jess"

"Stare down at the Max" I said out loud and giggled again, I heard his friend's snicker while Max just sighed, looking at me

"Come on, really?" he look's at me and I giggled again, nodding "Yeah, you did it again" he stared at his friend's "Don't feed her! "It make's it even worse!" Max yelled at them and we burst out laughing.

 Aaron glared at Max, then at me and Max's friend's and rolled his eye's

"Max, max, max" I say quickly, hoping up and down, still sitting down and he lazily look's at me

"What?"

"I wanna play tag, can we? Please~?" I Max sigh's and I imediatly take that as a yes. I hop up and down even more

"Want to hide, don't you?" he look's at me and I nod. He sighed "Fine, but only one game"

"Yes! Count to 10~!" I say in a sing-song voice, shift, then run. Run away from Max and look for a place to hide, a rule that Max and I have is that you have to keep moving, otherwise, it'll go by too fast.

 Max

[6:46:44 PM] Limeade23: I sigh as I look in the direction Jess run's in, shifting mid run. She's going to go to that same spot that I don't know how to get to, isn't she?

"How are you going to find her if she's a wolf while you're playing with her?" I look at him as if he's dumb

"She alway's smell's like Lilac's, so I search for her like that, didn't you know that wolve's have an exelent sense of smell?" I look at him as I count "One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven-"

"What does that mean?" I glare at him, but I continue counting

"Eight, Nine, Ten, I alway's win" I growl and run, shifting into a red, black and white wolf. My golden necklace still showing. I howl, then sprint into the wood's. I smirked as I remembered the look on Aaron's face when he saw me as a wolf, duh, how else would i find her? I look for her sent, LIlac's, lilac's lilac, where are you Jess?

I slightly growl as I pace around, I then smell Lilac and ran after it, following the smell of the flower that Jess love's ever so much. I find her in second's, at the second lowest branch of a very tall tree. She giggle's and point's at me, laughing. I growl and bark at her, I'll find a way up there if my life depend's on it, which right now, I feel as though it does. Jess keep's laughing at me as I try and get to her, laughing her butt off. I climb a tree and look at the lowest branch, then it dawn's on me. I take a few step's back, then run and jump. I land on the branch and she look's at me

"U-um, this isn't goin' to go well, is it Max?" I shook my head and sigh. I climb up onto her branch and lay down, my head in her lap as she messes with my fur. I shift and stare at her amber eye's. She smile's, messing with my hair instead. She sat on one leg, the other hanging off of the branch while I look at her, smiling.

"Do you know what your hair remind's me of?" I look at her, confused and she giggle's "It remind's me of ginger, cuz' your a ginger, now I want some ginger, can i eat your hair?" I roll my eye's as Jess laugh's, knowing that I wouldn't agree to that

"Mine!" I yell at her, jump off of the branch, shift, and run

"No! I want some ginger!" She yell's back and does the same, running after me as i run from her. I sudenly bump into someone and Jess tackle's me. Shifting as she turned back to normal "Ha! Ginger for me now!" I bark at her and she laugh's, falling onto her back.

"Well, look's like we found her" I look up to see a man, his eye's were red, and he looked like a shadow night, just, in control. I was about to get up when he kicked me, sending me flying and my back hit's a tree. I growl as I wince

"M-max! Are you okay?" I whine softly, it's most likely bad

"Aw, sad that we mad your friend bleed Aph?" the boy say's in a playful voice, what is going on here? I wince, as i look at my paw I saw blood run through my fur. I wince as Jess look's at him, fear in my eye's, I swore that I would never let Jess be scared on my watch, but right now, I can't do anything about it. And that hurt's, bad

"L-laurence, w-why d-did you h-hurt him?" She look's at him and I shift. As I sat up as I saw blood run down my shoulder. I groan

"Oh, so your friend shift's as well, then I guess I'll have to kill both of you" I growl at him and he look's at me, his head tilted "Is a little puppy mad?" he say's in a baby voice which make's me growl even louder. I shake my head as I sudenly feel dizzy, wow, this is not good. I sit down fully and stare into space as he come's up to me. He hold's a sword up to my neck "Night night little pup, well, you won't be waking up ever again" Just as he was about to push down on my neck with it. I snapped out of it and took his sword in my hand. I pull it out of his grip and break it, then soc him in the jaw. I shook my head as Laurence stumble's back, then run's

 Jess

 I watch as Laurence run's off, I feel a bit bad for him, Max broke his sword, wait, Max! I rush over to him as he pass's out. I quickly shift and howl, that should bring his friend's to his aid. I then Lay down, my head on his knee and I softly and quitely cry. Whimpering from time to time. I don't know what to do that'll help him, I don't know at all. As it slowly become's night. I whimper again, if I don't shift out of my wolf form, then I can stay as a wolf all night, but as soon as I do, then I'll have to wait till morning to shift into it again. I don't want to deal with that other thing, not yet at least.

When it was midnight. I was about ot fall asleep, worried when they showed up. I barked and they came near us "What happened" I looked at them and they knew, not now. They nodded when I noticed that Aaron was with them. I was with them while the moved Max back to where we were. I stared at his freind's as I finally remembered their name's. Jin, Ross, Adam, and Shelby. Jin began to patch up Max while I paced around in circle's, worried sick about him.

"Jess, can I talk to you?" I looked at him, and being one of my close friend's while I was still lord, he knew my look. Later. I continued pacing around, when he was all patched up. I ran up to him and layed down next to him, my head on his stomach as I fell asleep instantly.
