Chapter Seven- Break Out
"Wow," Blanca said sarcastically. "Isn't that a sad tale." She scowled while muttering, "And isn't this the perfect time to talk all about it!"
"Why didn't you ever tell me about her!" Judy exclaimed, punching Nick playfully on the arm.
Nick shrugged, "I couldn't find her after that. She disappeared as fast as she came."
"Heh," you put an arm around your neck sheepishly. "I had some problems in that time."
"Let's just get outta here!" Blanca flailed her small arms around.
"Oh, right," Nick said, pulling out his phone.
"What are you doing?" you asked, peeking at the phone.
Nick put the phone to his ear, "Sending my location to Carrots." He clicked a couple more buttons, "Aaaaaaand calling the Profession Corporation."
Judy's ears perked up as her eyes widened, "What?! Why would you do that?!"
Nick mouthed 'Sh' and said in a louder voice, "Hi, my name's Mr. Wilde... why did I call? Well, you see, I've been having some difficulties with my car, I'm going to need a drive back to the city." There was a long silence filled with incoherent words from the phone. "Why yes I do! Mhm... well, I wouldn't say friends...." Nick eyed Blanca. "Yes, yes I understand perfectly... wait, let me think. I'd say white.... aw, great! See you!" Nick turned his phone off and slipped it into his pocket.
"What was that all about?" you asked curiously, tilting your head slightly.
"In about fifteen minutes a white Tweet Sahara is going to pull up at our location, so we better get moving," he replied.
They nodded, staying as a group as they ran out of the complex.
