Chapter 3- A What Now?
The two went into an incline, for old time's sake, and headed to the large red and orange building that was basically in the center of the large city. It also seemed to be the tallest.
Once they got down they made their way through the streets to get there and Judy tried to pry open the door, but to no prevail. She glared at the door for a while to wonder why it wouldn't open while thumping her foot on the ground. Until Nick easily pushed (look at the hinges people) the door open and they stepped inside.
The large lobby had a white and black marble floor in the shape of the Targoat logo. There were comfy couches and a tv. Nick and Judy took a seat and watched the Catolina Panthers get beaten by the Denver(I didn't change it because it's 'Den'ver) Broncos, 10 to 24. But Judy claimed that the game was too boring and changed it to another channel that had a commercial where Tail Swift was listening to music while on a treadmill and slipped and fell on her face.
"Next!" An old female aardvark exclaimed, Nick and Judy walked over.
"Let me do the talking," Nick murmured to Judy, "Hey, is that you, Adda?" Nick gasped.
The aardvark looked up from her papers at Nick, "Nicholas Wilde, long time no see!" She exclaimed, going in for a hug which he returned.
Judy looked at them oddly, "You two know each other?"
"I know everyone," Nick remarked.
"How's Mrs. Wilde holding up, Nick?" The aardvark asked.
"Oh, she's doing great! She works as an accountant at the bank near Rainforest District," Nick replied.
"Oh great for her! And is that a uniform you have on, Nicholas?" she asked.
"Nick, pay more attention," Judy whisper shouted, "We need to see Zoe!" No one listened.
"It sure is, I'm a police now here with my buddy, Carrots," Nick stated.
"Wow, of course a entrepreneur of your talent turned to something great!" she said.
"Uh, actually-" Judy intervened.
"-Do you have an appointment?" Adda asked.
"No, we came over to see Zoe for a moment," Nick responded.
"Oh, I see, thirteenth floor on the right, take two lefts, then a right, then a left, then three rights, go up a side door up a staircase that'll lead you to a private room that belongs to Ms. Zebra," she said.
"Got it!" Nick said, "Come on now, Carrots."
"A what now? How are we supposed to remember that!" Judy stated.
"It's just the thirteenth floor on the right, two lefts, a right, a left, three rights, go up a side door up a staircase that'll lead you to a room," Nick said, Judy's mouth gaped, "Next time pay more attention."
