(Red's POV)

I'm taking a small break from training and my Pokemon are exhausted. Yellow is fishing as always and I'm sitting in the shade.

All of a sudden, a Gyarados appears and starts to attack Yellow.

"YELLOW, LOOK OUT!" I yell.

But she doesn't move. Her Chuchu is scared and runs to Yellow's shoulder.

Then the Gyarados powers up a Twister.

There's no way my Pokemon can come out of their Pokeballs and attack before Yellow is injured.

I dive to push her away and am sucked into the Twister. 

"RED!!" I hear Yellow yell.

(Yellow's POV)

No! Red's in trouble because of me!

Chuchu then uses Thundershock on the Gyarodos. 

The Twister goes away and Red comes flying into the trunk of a tree. He was unconscious.

Then, Blue and Green arrive and we call the ambulance.

I wish I could've healed him, but nothing seems to be wrong. I still tried until the ambulance came.

(TIME SKIP TO THE NEXT DAY)

We met the other dex holders there while Red is being treated.

Gold can't speak since an accident like this happened to him.

Red's Pika wouldn't stop tapping on the window that shows Red sleeping on a bed.

"I'm sorry to tell you!" The doctor says coming out of Red's room, "No, I can't bear to say it!"

"Tell us!" Blue says.

"Red woke up a few hours ago and he seems to...remember nothing!"

Everyone but Gold gasped.

I look at Red and see that he woke up!

"Please!" I yell, "I need to see him! I need to be with him!"

"You may go!" The doctor says.

I practically run into the room to see him. But he said a few words that broke me.

"W-who are you?!"

I cried for the next few minutes.

The girls are consoling me while the boys try to get Red to remember. 

I look at the boys to see Gold mouth something, "This is the same but worse."

"IT IS!" I yell.

Everyone looks confused.

"What do you mean?" Silver asks.

"What Gold mouthed. It's the same but worse. Gold may have lost his ability to speak but he still remembers us!" 

I take one more look at Red. He looks...scared.

That's when I ran out of the room and sitting on a chair across the hallway.

I now know how Crys felt when the boy she loved is...
