C.6: Danger strikes as fast as lightning.

Around 10:50 am...

We head out on our way to Castelia City. Leaving behind Nimbasa City we did make good memories in it... Like... The kisses and everything... We spent 3 days in Nimbasa City and I only narrated 1 and a half day of it. Since that's one of the most special moment that happen in my life.

"Castelia City is right across that mountain over there. We'll still have to go through the town which is right over there."I pointed at the GPS, Then at the mountains from afar.

"Great! We can have a stop over there when noon strikes."Ash says excitedly."Or maybe we can continue our way and camp by the road..?"

Chili is heading over there...

Tch... Staying out in the dark is dangerous at a time like this. I might reconsider stopping over at the town for a short while till Cress notifies me that he has given up on finding me or so.

"I think we should stop by the town and take a rest there for a few moments. You see, it's a bit dangerous to be wandering in a forest at a time like this... Brr.."I hugged myself in sheer anxiousness.

"Dangerous you say?? Well we encountered several dangers. I think it's normal for us to have a camp around the forest. Even if Team rocket suddenly shows up, they're no match for us ya know."Ash says confidently, straight-faced while smiling.

"Don't be such a confident smug! Sigh. You're still such a little kid!"Iris groans,"At least Cilan cares! He's 0.01% better than you!"

I don't know what to say... Should I feel great or should I defend Ash or something? Hmm. I think I should agree with Iris so I could avoid an encounter with Chili.. Ugh..

"Cilan! Say something! Agree with me that we're used to sleeping by the fields!"Ash cried out, shaking me with his eyes tearing out. Ash. For crying out loud stop doing that!

"Ash, for now I agree with Iris. Don't you want to eat delicious food and sleep in a comfy bed?"I smiled, pulling his hat down.

"Well I want to... But I missed your cooking! Let's camp outside!"Ash insisted.

"Go camp outside alone if you want while we sleep in a soft comfy bed."Iris hissed, walking away again.

Gosh this day is such a rollercoaster. I don't know what to say.

"Cilannn"Ash started to whine,"Why won't you agree with me! At least cook for meeee!!"

"Fine. if I cook for you will you agree with me that we'll stay by the town?"I smiled, holding his cheeks.

"Yeah."Ash pouts, staring at me... Before he shifted his gaze to my side.

Ash's Point of View

"Waiii! Cilan!"A familiar voice called this tall guy in front of me. His voice was rather small for his type and his face was covered with a black mask. He was sitting on this tall tree right behind Cilan.

"Tch. Who are you."Cilan said with a straight-face, letting go of my cheeks then turning to the masked man.

"Woahhh! Don't act like that just because you're with your friends."The masked man said,"What an actor..."

"Who is that?!"Iris stared at the masked man with anger and annoyance in her eyes.

"Phew we got here fast..."Another masked man said, but the difference is that he is much more serene and maybe more approachable?"... Let's go... Now... Let's not cause a ruckus."

"Cause a ruckus? Well well.. Cilan is the one who's causing a ruckus because he's acting like he doesn't know me... Or know us."The masked man with a much heavier aura said.

"Let him be..."The masked man with a sweeter voice said, pulling the other's arm.

"Let him be?! He can't be all,'ahh! I know everything! I'm everything! I should be the leader of the group~!' WHILE WE... Are the most worthless!"I'm getting confused... What's going on."Don't give the boss such eye candies Cilan. Now that we messed up we can't be the only one suffering."

"Tch... Iris, Ash, stay back."Cilan pushed me behind him.

"Cilan what's going on..."I was shaking... My hands are shaking. My eyes were filled with fear... I'm confused...

Cilan's Point of View

Chili have stepped out of the line! If things got worst I may have no choice but to battle him as well. Cress was trying hard to convince Chili to back away but as far as I know... Chili will never give up just to satisfy...

Sigh... To be honest I am part of this Team... This certain criminal Team that was built after Team Plasma had fallen. Colress ends up becoming the Boss or something.

The reason I was part of Team Omega is because of Chili.

Colress said, Chili have this potential and you know my brother... He wants to be number one. So right now, he's doing anything, everything, whatever Colress commands him. He became like a dog following his master's command.

Colress also invited Cress and I, but I couldn't say no... Because Chili's part of it so I have to protect him at all cost. But with me joining the organization... Chili became more hyped and outraged. His jealousy got the better of him... And its all because of Colress whispering those sinister words inside his head.

But to be honest I still don't know the plan that Team Omega wants. All I know is that Chili knows something about it and he's not telling us because it's confidential as Colress have stated and only his chosen workers knows about it...

And now there's Chili, feeling all special to Colress.

"So... I could guess you have the guts to give Iris up. Since she's not that important to you... Hehehehe..."Chili isn't Chili... This is a person Manipulated by Colress' words.

"Iris is my friend! I will not give up neither of them!"I retaliated.

"Ahhh... You caught the bait..."Chili started to laugh manically,"Why don't you come with us instead then we'll leave those two alone?"

"Cilan no!"Ash pulled my arms, tears were streaming down his cheeks.

"... Cilan just give me up..."Iris smiled with her tears slowly streaming down her cheeks.

"Iris. I'll be fine. Take care of Ash for me okay. Go to Castelia City... Then Nacrene City!... Then finally Striaton... I... I'll be waiting for you."I smiled, pulling out handcuffs I use to take some.. Trainers as hostage in Colress' commands.

"Ash give me your hand."I pulled Ash hands but he pulled it away from me.

"No..!"Ash was crying... He was worried about what will happen to me. But I can't tell him the truth. He'll probably despise me.

"Ash i'll be fine..."I put the handcuffs on his left hand, then pulling Iris' right hand as well.

"Cilan what are you doing..."Iris' voice was shaking.

"Don't lose each other while i'm gone."I smiled, locking the last handcuff on Iris' right hand.

"Ja' ne!"I smiled. Calling out Crustle to use Rock slide to block their way.

"Cilan!!!"Ash cried out.

"Heh. You decided to come with us eh."Chili smiled, pulling his mask down,"Time to show Colress who the loser in this group is. 'I'm gonna do the work' blah blah blah!! Such a show off yet he's a failure."

"Chili shut up! I told you... To stop causing a ruckus!"Cress retaliated, pulling the two of us far away from Ash and Iris..."... And you Chili's arguing in public! We wore this mask for a reason! To hide our identity. And here you are blathering and telling everyone you know this guy... THAT'S WHY YOU'RE SUCH A FAILURE EVEN IN OUR GYMLEADER DAYS! Colress just can't tell you that because he had so much fun manipulating you. OPEN YOUR EYES CH—"

"SHUT UP CRESS! All those humiliation talk... Why don't you two team up together and try to stop me?! You two are just jealous, especially you Cilan that i'm getting all the attention. You just can't accept that im ahead of you now... Hehehe..."Chili smirked and stared at me."Angry? Annoyed? Hahahaha. Wait till he sees you."

"You... All that being Number 1 has gotten in your head..."I hissed,"You even planned to lay a hand on my friends.."

"Oh.. My fault..? It's your fault!"Chili giggled and pointed a knife at me,"You're the one who walks with them, talks with them, stays with them. Anyone who is in Cilan's ranged shall be part of the experiment!"

Cress pushed Chili's hand with a knife,"Enough..."

"Wait..."I mumbled,"What experiment?"

"Oh yeah I haven't told ya... All I told ya was the plan is.. To capture trainers and make them as hostages, and also... Hand them over to me."Chili makes a small laugh,"Dummies. After you hand the trainers over to Colress, an experiment shall be held."

"Chili. What experiment?!"My voice getting louder and louder. Each time I repeat the last sentence the tone of my voice became heavier and darker.

"Ahhhh... Well... It's for the better good... The sake of Unova... To rule Unova..."I cut Chili off by asking the same question again.

"Chili! That is not answering my question! What experiment!"

"H...how could you!"Cress stepped back, pulling out a knife from his pocket.

"You're gonna be part of it too.. In the mean time..."Chili covered his face with his mask again,"You need to sleep.."

"Chili! You..."I'm starting to feel drowsy..."You haven't... Answer my question you coward..."

Back then, before I met Ash I was a suicidal freak. I always wanted to die in a painful manner. I guess I was too tired of striving to be number 1... So I just thought, 'hey why not kill yourself so you wouldn't have to work hard. I'm pretty sure Chili would be happy without me'.

But I guess I'm gonna die in the hands of my own brother. Things happen so fast... I don't want to end in this way... I will survive and I will... Protect Ash. I will find him and Iris after I escape... I will... Not... Fail... You...
