C.12: Dangerous Decisions. Unfolded Truth.

Around 5 pm...

Trip had awoken up at around lunch time so he have managed to eat the berries we picked up from the forest... Half of what we pick up was eaten by him and his Serperior... While Iris, Me and the rest of the gang were forced to eat the left overs.

Well I don't think we'll create a proper argument with Trip so we just let him do whatever he wants.

After lunch we started to travel by feet on our way to Castelia City. Trip was always ahead of the team so he was the one who keeps on guard for any suspicious movements or... Masked men.

Well fortunately, we didn't see any suspicious things along the way... Which is good because I don't wanna see that masked man again to mock us and take us as hostage sooner or later. Besides, I still have no idea why he kept popping out of nowhere.

And yeah, at around 4:50 pm, we're still here on the road. We took a 5 minute break at 4:32 pm where we just sat by the tree and drink some water we pack back at Nimbasa Town.

So here we are, on our way... Walking walking... Endless walking. It's so hard to travel without Cilan since he's the only one who have a GPS to guide us. Trip lost his GPS the moment he was caught so our only hope now is to follow this trail of soil that I highly believe that it leads to Castelia City.

Trip has a strong sense of smell so I don't think we have nothing to worry about... Unless he's just playing with us. But I don't think he'll do that since we saved him and he owes us another thing.

We remained silent the whole journey. We didn't even get to have a proper conversation back at the 5 minute break, nor ask Trip if he's doing okay as of the moment. I don't know. There was a weird aura that kept us from speaking about such things... It's... It's weird.

I cleared my throat, trying to break the awkward silence that goes on for about 7 hours. "Uh....."

Iris and Trip shifted their gaze at me. Their stares were creepy and deep. As if they just awoken up from a good night sleep.

I bit my lower lip and raised both of my hands to gesture them that I have nothing to say as of the moment. After that, They both turned back to the road and the awkward silence continues...

Cilan.. I'm surrounded by Bipolar people... Help me... Huhuhuhu...

With that thought, I started to shiver. Other than it is cold outside, the aura was too heavy for me to take. It was scary... I'm gonna cry.

"Trip the way to Castelia City is still a long way ahead right...?"Iris finally speaks. Now the heavy aura was shifted to a much lighter one. For the least i'm relieved that the silence wont go on for a day or so.

"Yeah. One more mountain to go. I'm pretty sure we'll reach the City by tomorrow at around 6 am approximately if we just kept traveling with no regards to sleeping."Trip shrugs, cutting the tree branches along the way with his Fury Cutter. "Besides, I don't think you guys would fell asleep at a time like this. That masked man can attack at any time of the day even when were at sleep. You don't wanna see yourself waking up inside a capsule of liquid chemicals right?"

"Right..."Iris choked. She seems a bit worried and at the same time, pissed off.

"You mean it's mandatory for us to just keep traveling without sleeping at all???"My eyes widened, shifting my gaze from Iris to Trip.

"Exactly."He finished up. "If you did fell asleep we'll just leave you where you are."

"I.. I won't fall asleep!"Trip was always straightforward. His determination is creepy because he would do anything to keep his self alive, and to seek revenge as well.

"Well Pikachu I guess you can sleep on my shoulder okay... You should take lots of rest because we might encounter them again and you have no energy to fight them..."I rubbed Pikachu's head. He just make a slight whimpering sound before he goes to sleep on my shoulder.

"Tch. If only your Pikachu was used to being in the Pokeball then you dont have to carry him all alone."Trip shrugs, staring at Serperior's pokeball.

"Well it's none of your business if he wants to stay out in the open field."I replied back with a slight annoyance in my voice.

"Mm." He looks up and pointed at my Pikachu,"Didn't you know that almost all organization's target is your pikachu?"

"Yes I do."I replied with a sigh.

"I'm pretty sure this organization is also aiming for your pikachu."Trip smirks, stepping closer to me.

"No. It's a different matter. Their targets are both humans and pokemons. It's not a matter if it was Pikachu. I'm pretty sure their targets are mostly evolved Pokemons."

"What about that Mincinno we saw earlier..?"Iris thought, looking up at the sky.

"The Mincinno... I don't know. But..."I tried to picture what the Mincinno looked like in my mind. I knew there was something behind those ropes..."There is a tag on its tail... It's a color purple one."

"A purple tag?"Trip raised an eyebrow,"I think I remember seeing those tags in the laboratory back in that place... It was worn by every Pokemon that was kept captive in that laboratory... Maybe that Mincinno escaped?"

"Escaped?"Iris then replied with confusion,"If what Ash was saying is true, that their targets are mostly evolved Pokemons... Why do they bother chasing the Mincinno that escaped?"

"It's because of the tag..."Trip uttered in a serious tone,"Those tags aren't just normal tags. It has a GPS tracker and the name of the Organization written on it. Wait!"

Tags...

"Trip. Do you think the reason why that masked man can still track us is because of the tag?"I raised an eyebrow, staring at Trip's ears wherein there was a purple earring-like chip attached to him.

"What?! I didn't know..."Trip pulled out the chip that was attached to his ear. But it seems like it was locked tight..."Darn it! I don't think i'll ever escape those maniacs..."

"Isnt there a way to remove it?"Iris says with a worried face.

"No. Not even my attacks, nor a Pokemon's move can remove that. There is a certain key to remove the tag and I'm guessing that the masked man has it."Trip sighs,"I don't think you guys will be safe if you're with me."

"What are you saying? That chip can lead us to where they were! If we can't find Cilan soon, we will have to turn ourselves in and we can save those innocent people!"I replied, tapping Trip's shoulder.

"There you go again with those dangerous act of kindness."Trip smirks, pulling my hands away from his shoulder."But don't blame me if both of you turns into half Pokemon like me."

"Tch. It's gonna be useless in the end anyway if we can't stop them soon. We'll all be turned into half pokemons too. But for now, we have to continue doing the safest option. Find Cilan. Because he's our only way to find their hideout without getting caught."Iris says with a smile.

"But what about this chip?"Trip kept pulling the chip with force but he just ends up hurting his self...

Great.

"We'll worry about that later. For now, we'll use the chip as a positive thing."I then said. I wanted to express my idea too you know!

"Fine. But now that you mention it. I'm a bit uncomfortable with an earring on."Trip pouts. He kept on holding the chip as if it has become his habit.

"Earrings are also worn by men at some time. Especially Rockstars and such. What a kid."Iris shrugs, walking pass ahead of us again.

"Aahh.. But I don't like these things..."Even if Trip knows that the chip can cost his life again, he still try to make it a positive thing for the least...

Cilan's Point of View

Running... Running... I've been running away for several days now. I don't care if I haven't eaten nor drink anything yet. All I wanted was to get out of this property alive.

Striaton Gym. The basement was our hideout. Once I find Ash i'll have to force him to go back to Kalos before anything happens to him...

I don't want him to suffer the same fate as Cress... Chili's a monster... He just let his own brother die out of his own happiness... The experiment failed... And I saw Cress' tears stream down his cheeks when he had his final breath.

From his lips, I saw him utter the words,"Sorry... And goodbye" while he stare at me with his void, unemotional, glassy eyes.

Chili just stared at him with a grin. As if he was enjoying the sight of Cress suffering for him. It's my fault... I wish I pulled him inside the vent with me... Maybe he's alive and running with me right now.

Ash... I love you so much. I want to keep you safe. Ash... I want you to live a normal life in Kalos and forget everything here in Unova. Ash... I'm sorry if... Once you saw me... That'll also be the last time you'll remember me..

Ash. forget everything about me... About Unova. About everything for the last 1 month that we speak.

Ash. I'm sorry. Ash... Ash Forgive me... Ash I...

"Aghh..."Tears were streaming down my cheeks as I trip over a rock that sent me falling on the ground.

*Beep beep beep*

Tch it's that GPS chip attached to my clothes again. Chili must be tracking where I am... Good thing I have the key to remove the chip right now... I just thought that maybe Chili won't bother tracking me anymore so I kept this trinket with me.

Anyway... I guess now's a good time to remove it...

I pulled out the chip using this key with a certain code inside it. The chip easily slid down from my clothes, falling at the ground.

Tch..."Ash. I'm gonna save you from this nightmare..."Then raindrops starts to fall on my cheeks, mixing with the tears that were streaming down from it.

I continued to run, heading to Nacrene City. Disregarding every screaming voice I could hear from each side of the forest. Voices of those who are crying... Screaming... Grieving because their normal life was ruined.

"Ash!!!"I kept screaming. Resonating from across the forest. Echoes... Echoes... Then silence...

"This is for Cress.. For Ash... And for everyone else! I have to make one right decision... Just one... Decision... And everything will be alright."I panted. Wiping my tears that wont stop from falling.
