She walked through the busy streets of Mumbai, sweat trickling down her forehead. Clad in the simple green coloured saree, she grabbed the attention of every passer by. Stopping by the baker's shop, she bought some pancakes. Next, she went to the flowers' shop and bought some roses and orchids. Stepping in the general store, she got some juices for the upcoming guests.

As soon as she stepped near the round about of the common bazaar, a car stopped near her. A man, with a fair complexion, dark brown hair, almond shaped expressive eyes and a pointed nose, stepped out and smiled up at her. She shot back a smile and sat inside. He rested on the driver's seat, with her on the passenger seat.

"What the hell Adi! You literally irritated me. Look. Look at the clock, you are late by fifteen minutes.!" She blabbered and he smiled.

"Pooja! Pooja! Pooja! Shhhh. Apply brakes to your speed of blabbering. And let me clarify." Aditya tried his best to focus on the road.

"No.! You know what? Mujhe khud hi ajana chahiye thaa. I wonder why i waited for you in that busy market! Paseene chhut gaye, dekho!" Pooja shouted, making him flutter. (I'm badly sweating, see.)

"Ugghhh! I was late because of the arrangements yaar! You yourself said that you wanted everything to be perfect. I was trying so"he spoke, applying brakes to the car in front of the house.

"Accchaaaaa! Trying to cover up? Dramebaaaz!" She tried to hide her smile. (Is it? Melodramatic!)

"Nope. I am just telling that i was late because i was doing something for you." He lied. Her expressions softened and her lips curved up.

"I love you Adi, Thank you for everything." Pooja held all the sincerity in her eyes.

"It's my duty Poo. No thanks needed." He tried to smile but failed miserably.

She smiled and ran inside to check all the decorations.

He glanced at her retreating figure, "This is clearly not what i want Pooja. I don't love you. I can't. It was just the happiness of my parents that brought me here, in this narrow, small house."

She ran down the stairs, and stopped near the kitchen counter. Roshna was busy preparing the dinner. "Ammi, kese lag rahe hein hum?" She asked, swaying her gown to and fro in the cutest manner possible. Roshna turned around and gasped in surprise.

She wore a beautiful navy blue foot lenght gown. With the slightest pinch of make up and coral pink lipstick, she looked breathtakingly gorgeous.

"Zoya beta! Ap kitni haseen lag rahi hein! MashAllah! Nazar na lage humari beti ko." Roshana spoke, looking at a smiling Zoya.
(Zoya! You're looking beautiful. May God protect you from evil eye.)

"Shukriya Ammi. Ab jiski Ammi itni dilnasheen hon, wo bhala kese dilruba na hogi?" Zoya said in her pure Urdu as always. (Thank you. When someone's mother is so attractive, the person has to be pretty.)

"Arey waaaah! What's going on? Hayeeee! Appi, you are looking so adorable." Noor came running down the stairs alongwith a smiling Waseem. (Wowwww!)

"I agree, MashaAllah!" Waseem said, kissing Zoya's forehead.

"Thank you." She whispered.

"I have to go. See you later. Khuda Hafiz everyone." Zoya mumbled before leaving the house.

The not so large house was caged in the decorations to welcome the most awaited guest of the night. The flying, pink curtains on the door was the perfect view. The walls were decorated with the fairy lights and the gold edged staircase attracted many people towards it.

At a corner sat the DJ, with his complete music set up. Pooja kept running on a feet, giving instructions to the caterers, waiters and workers. That was when she bumped into him.

"Sambhal ke" he showed his concern. (Take care)

"I'm fine"she spoke, trying to stablize herself.

"Waiter, clean this mess up quickly." She ordered, pointing towards the spilt juice on the floor.

"Ese hi khatam hojaye ga saara juice." She mumbled. (The juice will be finished like this.)

"Its okay. We'll get more."

"How will we? Adi, I have been saving money for this event since last year. Only a bit of it is left now"she spoke, her eyes watery.

"You have never cared for money Poo. Does it matter to you? Really?" He asked, shocked.

"Of course it does not. I don't want money, I need it. And there's a huge difference." She clarified, sincerely.

"Pooja, that is why I tell you, money is important. For that, you need to be famous."

"Huhh? Money doesn't require fame. They're opposites." She spoke, trying to knock some sense in him.

"You won't understand" he walked away, leaving a confused Pooja.

Anjana walked over to her,"Pooja, when are your guests coming?"

"Haan. Maa, bas aate hi honge."( They will be coming soon)

Everyone was ready to welcome the honoured guest. Arjun and Aditya kept on roaming around to check if everything was done properly. Mr Hooda himself was a great fan of the guest. He was really overjoyed to attend her company.

"Anjana, Don't you think, she would feel pity on us because she is so rich?" Harsh asked stealthily.

"Of course not Harsh. She is sensible enough" she replied, calm and composed.

At around 7:30, the doorbell rang. Pooja ran to open the door. And there, she stood, her arms folded across her chest. She breathed in the sweet smell of the surroundings, a little smile dancing near her lips.
