Thor and Hogan walked across the now calm battlefield as the Asgardians arrested the Marauders.

"Where do we go next?" Hogan asked.

"Hogan, the peace is nearly won, across the Nine Realms. You should stay here and be with your people, where your heart is. Asgard can wait," Thor told him.

Hogan smiled and said, "You have my thanks."

"As you have mine," Thor responded as they grabbed each other's arm in a friendly matter.

Hogan walked over to be with his people.

"Heimdall, when you're ready," Thor called and the BiFrost took him home.

Once there, Thor stood on a balcony, overlooking the training yard when Odin joined him.

"Is Vanaheim secure?" Odin asked.

"As are Nornheim and Ria. But our work would have gone more quickly with you at the fore," Thor answered with a nod.

"You must think I'm a piece of bread, that needs to be buttered so heavily," Odin said.

"That was not my intent," Thor stated.

"For the first time since the Bifrost was destroyed, the Nine Realms are at peace. We are well reminded of our strength and you have earned their respect and my gratitude," Odin replied.

"Thank you," Thor thanked him.

"Nothing out of order except your confused and distracted heart," Odin commented.

"This isn't about Jane Foster, Father," Thor insisted.

"Humans' lives are fleeting. They're nothing. You'll be better served by what lies in front of you," Odin pointed out, indicating to Sif.

Sif was training until she felt eyes on her. She looked to see Odin and Thor looking down toward her.

"I'm telling you this not as the All Father, but as your Father. You are ready. The time has come to take the Throne. Embrace it and celebrate what you have won. Join your warriors, eat and drink. Revel in their celebration. At least pretend to enjoy yourself. And when you are able, I want you to meet the newest guard. She is from Midgard," Odin said.

"You hired someone from Midgard to look after Loki?" Thor questioned.

"It was not my intent. When we sent word of this, she volunteered freely and Frigga persuaded me to hire her. She claimed it would help change Loki's opinion of Midgard," Odin explained.

Thor nodded as Odin left, making him think of how Loki was taking this.
