Jane was floating inside the Aether. But when she woke up, she was back in the building, lying on the concrete. She ran outside to see policemen outside.

"Jane! Where the hell were you?" Darcy exclaimed when she saw her.

"Tell me you didn't call the police?" Jane remarked.

"Well what was I supposed to do?" Darcy asked.

"Not call the police?" Jane suggested obviously.

"I've been freaking out!" Darcy yelled.

"You call the cops, they call the Feds. Next thing you know we have SHIELD crawling all over, 'area-51-ing' the place," Jane pointed out.

"Jane!" Darcy said as rain started to fall.

"We had a stable gravitational anomaly! We had unimpeded access! Our only competition was ten years old!" Jane explained.

"Jane! You were gone for five hours!" Darcy finally managed to say.

That really shocked Jane.

"What?" she questioned.

They looked at each other, realizing they were in a circle where no rain dropped on them.

"That's weird," Darcy commented.

Jane even held out her hand to prove no rain is falling on her. She then saw Thor standing meters away, staring at her. She was in shock as she walked to him. As she left, rain fell on Darcy.

"Typical," Darcy said.

Thor walked toward Jane as well.

"Jane..." he started.

He was then greeted by Jane slapping him across the face.

"Sorry, I just needed to make sure you were real. It's been a very strange day," she apologized.

"I am. Jane I--" he tried again.

She slapped him again.

"Where were you?" Jane demanded.

"Where were you? Heimdall could not see you," Thor said.

"I was right here where you left me. I was waiting, and then I was crying, and then I went out looking for you...You said you were coming back!" she explained.

"I know, I know. But the BiFrost was destroyed. The Nine Realms erupted into chaos; wars were raging, marauders were pillaging...I had to put an end to the slaughter," he replied.

"As excuses go, it's not...terrible. But I saw you on TV, you were-- you were in New York!" Jane pointed out.

"Jane, I fought to protect you from the dangers of my world but...I was wrong. I was a fool. But I believe that fate brought us together. Jane, I don't know where you were or what happened, but I do know this," Thor said, caressing her cheek.

She was swooning inside as she questioned, "What?"

"I know," he replied.

"You do?" Jane asked.

"Do what?" Thor wondered.

"What?" Jane repeated.

They leaned in and just before their lips touched...

"Hey! Is this you?" Darcy chimed in, indicating the rain.

Thor immediately made it stop.

"Uh, we're kinda in the middle of something here," Jane said.

"Um, I'm pretty sure we are getting arrested," Darcy mentioned.

"Hold that thought," Jane told Thor then left.

Darcy turned back to Thor and asked, "Look at you, still all muscly and everything! How's space?"

"Space is fine," Thor answered.

A/N Jane's and Thor's reunion was pretty sweet, except for the slapping. But still.
