Logic: I hear you are taking requests?
Princey: I swear to Disney Samuel one more fucking text and Im calling the police
Logic: Excuse me? I am not Samuel.
Princey: right sure, like how you were jack and Harry
Princey: can you not get a hint?? Leave. Me. Alone!!
Logic: I am serious, I'm not Samuel. I will leave you alone if I bothered you.
Princey: I can't tell if your being serious and if you are well aren't I a massive dick
Princey: then again you are spelling correctly, Samuel has the IQ of an owl
Logic: Ah, you too also understand owls are not that intelligent?
Princey: Yeah you're not Samuel
Princey: I deeply apologise, this guy won't leave me alone no matter how many times I block them
Princey: and yes! All owls know is how to hunt! They may look like regal beings but rats can do so much more
Logic: You are right. And this Samuel doesn't sound good. I seriously suggest telling your guardians about him.
Logic: On second thought I apologise for outright assuming you still live with your guardians, from your account I suppose you are a teenager?
Princey: I am! But why are you saying guardians?
Logic: I do not know if your guardians are your parents.
Princey: Ah, well they are! Anyway that request??
Logic: Ah yes. I have taken a liking to your artwork you post and have noticed you do requests?
Princey: I do indeed!
Logic: Satisfactory. How much would it cost?
Princey: oh, nothing yet! I don't plan to do commissions until I'm older :)
Logic: I see, in that case would you be able to draw space? I don't have a certain imagine in mind, but space has always interested me and my brother has convinced me to hang up some posters. I was hoping my first poster be a drawing by you - I have followed your account for awhile.
Princey: awWH! LO! THAT IS THE SWEETEST THING
Princey: I WILL DRAW YOU ANYTHING
Princey: I will make sure this is the greatest thing I will ever draw! I haven't done space before so it certainly will be an experience! And you caught me at a good time too, lucky you!
Princey: It should be done in 2-3 weeks! No less and possibly more
Princey: if you ask for less well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Logic: No, no, that is quite alright, I really do not mind. I prefer quality over time.
Princey: I like you :)
Princey: talk again soon!
Logic: Yes, goodbye.
"So, so, so?" Patton grinned at his twin brother who had finally placed down his phone. Logan lifted his eyes up to him with a slight smirk adorning his features. "Calm down, Patton, he will be done in two to three weeks" and with that Patton jumped up and fist pumped the air with a delighted yell of happiness.
"I can't wait! We have to hang it above your desk! You'll have so many posters in no time!" Patton gushed as he grabbed his school bag and raced towards the front door. Logan sighed at his brother, he couldn't believe he allowed this to happen. Patton had so many posters in his room one could barely see the walls - Logan hoped that wouldn't happen to his own, but Patton was a persistent fifteen year old.
Their walk to school was a short five minutes down the street, by the time they got there there was already an abundance of students (mostly because Patton doesn't wake up that early and Logan, who awakes earlier, can't leave without him) hanging out by the benches or on the surrounding field.
The twins went straight inside and to their lockers, Patton opening his to reveal the sides and doors covered with pictures of cute animals (mostly dogs) and a few selfies with him and his friends.
"I miss him" Patton reminisced, tapping a picture of a boy both he and Logan used to know before he moved away. Even at the time, he was quite the emo.
Logan nodded in understanding and the two carried on down the hallway to their homeroom - thankfully they shared all lessons together, they were each other's best friend and while they did have other friends they spent most of their time with each other.
As they turned the corner, Logan tensed when he saw the group of popular boys in their grade sauntering down the hallway, arrogance rolling off them all in waves, moving as if they owned the place which made Logan's blood boil. He hated them all but despised one specifically - his name was Roman.
The two didn't like each other from the start, since they were children and going to the same schools, they clashed whenever they would interact and their squabbles turned into fights, they would share insults without a care, instantly filling with anger as soon as their eyes landed on the other.
"Smart ass"
"Dumbass" they both spat as they passed each other, Roman nudging his shoulder into him while Logan dug his elbow into his gut. They sent glares one would give to someone who killed their mother but thankfully left it at that, Patton reaching over and holding his brother's hand, swiftly tugging him along before he would say something that would start a fight.
Patton didn't know how to feel. He knew for a fact Roman wasn't a bad person but should he dislike him in the favour of his brother? He didn't know. Quite frankly he found their burning hatred to be stupid, they should both grow up and realise wasting energy hating the other was worthless, but he wouldn't say that, he didn't want to hurt his brother.
Besides, he didn't know the full story - maybe something did happen, something Logan never told him.
However, as soon as the two sat in their seats, Roman was promptly forgotten and the day went on smoothly.

Princey: LOOOOOGIIIIIIIIIIIIIIC!
Logic: Salutations.
Princey: it is complete

Logic: Oh, wow. Princey this is amazing.
Princey: Oh, I know
Logic: Thank you for this, it is truly magnificent.
Princey: wait really? I didn't think it was that good
Princey: but thank you! You sweet boy you
Princey: oops there I go assuming genders, I apologise!
Logic: It is quite alright, luckily I am a male.
Princey: really?
Princey: ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Logic: What on Earth is that?
Princey: ( ͡° ͜ ʖ ͡° )
Logic: Please stop sending that.
Princey: .°(ಗдಗ。)°.
Logic: Now what is that?
Princey: emoticons! Expressions emotion even over text
Logic: Ah, emotions, the bane of my existence.
Princey: :o
Princey: a robot!
Princey: they should seriously update the 'are you a robot' procedure
Princey: please don't kill me! I can help in the robot uprising
Logic: I am not a robot, Princey.
Princey: damn
Princey: well that's j us boring
Logic: Sorry to disappoint, also, just*
Princey: Ah, we have a grammar nazi on our hands! Well alright then, I'll be more careful next time sir!
Princey: and hush your not disappointing anyone
Princey: you're*
Princey: speed up your typing, space-nerd
Princey: also I saw your profile, aesthetic wise it is the most GLORIOUS thing I have ever seen in my life!
Princey: you really like space
Logic: I do, yes. Thank you, I do like to keep things consistent and aesthetically pleasing. And I was not typing, I was awaiting the moment you would stop so I could reply to all your messages at once, you do like to send a lot.
Princey: why limit yourself to paragraphs when
Princey: you
Princey: can
Princey: do
Princey: this
Logic: Because doing that equates to more effort.
Princey: Well sir, you do have a point!
Princey: I must admit this is the longest conversation I have had with someone online
Logic: I have to agree with you there, I don't have many friends.
Princey: oh I have loads! Most theatre nerds, just like me
Logic: That must be nice.
Princey: It is!
Princey: anywhore I must be leaving you, space nerd!
Princey: things to do, places to be, etc
Princey: speak again!
Logic: Yes. Goodbye, stay safe.

Princey: 0o0
Princey: you put it uP!!!
Princey: above your desk too!
Princey: look at all those books and papers
Princey: you truly are a nerd! Not just a space one either!
Logic: Yes, and I am taking the term 'nerd' as a compliment, in my understanding it is merely people calling me smarter than themselves. Which I am.
Princey: Ah, an arrogant nerd!
Princey: I am too pretty arrogant
Princey: but I'm more of a thespian myself!
Logic: Interested in plays and performances, I presume?
Princey: you presumed correctly, space nerd!
Logic: That usually isn't where my interests lie, I cannot find entertainment in watching such frivolous acts.
Princey: :O
Princey: they're more than just frivolous acts!
Princey: they're the best things to ever grace this planet!
Logic: Disagreeable but everyone enjoys different things.
Princey: I suppose so, it would be childish to get into an argument over such things
Princey: however I will take you to a performance and you will see how great they are
Logic: I highly doubt I will enjoy it, but I do not detest the idea. However, we barely know each other.
Princey: I guess not, but know what that means?!
Logic: What?
Princey: we need to learn more!
Princey: and what better way to do it than the questions game!
Logic: Wonderful - could you explain the rules?
Princey: it's not really a game
Princey: we ask each other questions, one at a time but we're not allowed to not answer them! And they must be true otherwise the liar will be punished!
Logic: How will we know if the other is lying?
Princey: well, we won't
Princey: but if we find out in the future
Princey: it'll be punishment time
Princey: ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° )
Logic: Please stop sending that.
Princey: don't lie then, sweetheart
Princey: ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Logic: I won't, I promise.
Princey: wonderful! I shall go first!
Princey: hmmmmmm
Princey: -o-
Princey: I have it!
Princey: What are your hobbies??
Logic: My hobbies consist of nothing too interesting, I enjoy to read more often than not. I spend quite a lot of time doing homework, too, whether or not that is a hobby is left up to be desired. I am also partial to teaching myself things I haven't learnt in school or the school is planning to teach - I prefer to be ahead and understand everything without being confused. Being confused is a terrible feeling which I highly despise.
Princey: right, right
Princey: well that concludes it then!
Princey: we are complete opposites!
Princey: I often live in a state of confusion, especially in school!
Logic: Ah well, if you ever need help with school work you could ask me, as long as I am not busy.
Princey: that's very sweet of you, space nerd
Princey: my tuuuurrrrrnnnnn!!
Logic: Alright. What is your home life like?
Princey: it's good!
Princey: I'm an only child and my parents both work quite a lot!
Princey: I don't mind! It gives me time to prance around the house and sing as loud as I want!
Logic: I enjoy being home alone too.
Princey: what about you, space nerd?
Logic: My home life? I live with my twin brother and father, unfortunately our mother passed away when we were both young.
Princey: really?
Princey: oh, I'm sorry
Logic: Thank you, but it is quite alright. We were too young at the time to understand. I suppose it is upsetting we never got to know her but that is just how life works.
Princey: I suppose so
Princey: but let's move on, shall we?
Logic: Let's. Your turn?
And that's how the two boys spent the rest of their afternoon, sitting in their rooms, texting the other with permanent smiles on their faces and amusement floating in their eyes. Once or twice Patton entered Logan's room to see him sitting on his bed, legs crossed, hands tapping away on his screen, so invested he didn't even notice his brother but the boy didn't mind - he was happy Logan had gotten a friend.
But, Patton began to notice something.
It didn't start off as noticeable, really. More often Logan would bring out his phone to text his online buddy (Patton found out his name being 'Princey' - not his real name but Logan wouldn't ask for it unless he did first) and it went on for a few months. Patton was ecstatic for his brother, seeing him smile so often made him smile in return, too. And he wasn't jealously either, Logan found time for both of them which made him the best twin brother in the world.
But then Patton found out something. Something that made his heart drop. He was sitting in class beside Logan who had texted Princey one last time, it was a simple goodbye text.
September 9th
Logic: Goodbye, Princey. Text me if you need help with work.
Patton didn't think much of it. Later in the day, while Logan was indulging himself in the library, Patton hung out with a few of his own friends, one or two calling over Roman as he passed by. A grin lit up on his face and he hurried over, sitting on the table they all shared. "Hey, Patton" Roman greeted him and Patton returned it with his own smile. They were sitting beside each other, the table small so they all had to squash up close.
He didn't mean to, it was accidental, really it was, but Patton's eyes shifted down to Roman's phone to see him typing out a message to send to someone - Patton looked at the message he received from this certain someone earlier and gasped.
Logic: Goodbye, Princey. Text me if you need help with work.
Patton's first instinct was to think they made up, that they were friends, which made him beam and feel elated, but when he asked Roman when they made up, he pulled a confused face, responding with they hadn't, he hasn't talked to the nerd for a few weeks now.
And Patton's heart fell - Roman didn't know, neither did Logan, that was obvious from the way he talks about the guy, they didn't know they were talking to each other.
That evening he went onto each of their accounts, without knowing much about the other in real life Patton guessed it would be hard to realise who they were plus, their real names weren't on the page once, neither were any selfies. They were completely oblivious and Patton didn't know what the heck to do.
Should he tell Logan? Roman? Both? He couldn't keep this from them, could he? What if they became close, really close, for one day to meet and realise...
Patton felt sadness eat away at him - he didn't know how Logan would react to his first close friend turning out to be his worst enemy.
Timidly, he walked to his brothers room and opened the door, spotting Logan sitting on the edge of his bed. He looked up and frantically waved Patton over, "ah, Patton, I need your help with something"
Patton managed a smile and nodded, taking a seat beside him, noticing he was texting Princey. He tensed a little but didn't let it go noticeable.
"I think I like Princey"
"Oh, shiiiiiiiirt" Patton breathed out, eyes widening, staring at his brother who looked completely serious. This wasn't good. No, this was bad, really bad, terrible, the worst thing ever! Patton was conflicted, he wanted to be joyous Logan has finally found someone he likes romantically but this is Roman! His enemy!
"Do I tell him?" Logan then asked, glancing from Patton to his phone screen. He looked worried, Patton guessed over if Princey requited these feelings. "Um-I mean-..." Patton shrugged, "if-if you want! D'you-will it-um..." Patton knew whichever way this will go, Logan will end up hurt, if Roman returns the attraction or not, in the end they'll discover who they are, and Logan's heart will be crushed.
Patton dropped his head, "I don't know, Lo..." he finally murmured, but when he heard the sound of a text message sending off, he looked up at the screen and inwardly winced. Logan had done it already.
"It's fine, right?" Logan then worried, "he wouldn't-we can still be friends, can't we?"
Patton smiled and nodded, "yeah, he...he means a lot to you, doesn't he?"
Logan nodded in agreement, not daring to look at his phone. "And if you two start dating, you'll want to meet, right?"
Logan nodded again. "Well, of course - while texting is adequate I would prefer to become closer in real life"
Patton slumped and fiddled with his cardigan sleeves. "Yeah..."
Logan's phone pinged and they both looked at it.
Princey: you're in luck, space nerd
Princey: I like you too :)
Patton watched relief flood over Logan's face, but the twin left before he would see any more messages, softly closing the door behind him. What was he going to do?
The next day in school, Patton realised there was only one thing he could do. He told Logan to meet him outside that break time by the bench next to the cherry blossom tree. Logan agreed and Patton watched him wonder off, waiting a moment before he traveled across the school to find Roman hanging out with the other theatre nerds.
"Hey, Ro" Patton tapped his shoulder, the boy tilting his head back, sitting on the floor. "Greetings, Pat! Everything alright?"
Patton nodded and gestured him up, telling him he needed to talk. Roman nodded, telling his friends he'd be back later before tailing after Patton. "What ever is the matter?" Roman queried, curious and worried if Patton was okay, but he sent him a weak smile. "I'll tell you in a sec"
Roman nodded and let himself be led across the field, stopping when he saw Logan sitting on the bench they were heading to, shaded by the cherry blossom tree. Patton noticed, grabbed Roman's arm and hauled him over. "Don't move, Logan" Patton demanded in a strict tone one would imagine hearing from a parent.
"But, Patton-" Logan fried to protest but with one glare Logan sighed and sat down, sending his own glare at Roman who responded the same way. Patton sat Roman opposite and held his hands towards them. "Phone, gimme" he only had to wait a moment before they were given to him, both boys confused but preferring to bitterly remark at the other while Patton unlocked their phones and brought up their messages.
He read through the most recent ones.
Princey: good morning, handsome!
Logic: Good morning, Princey. However, why are you calling me that? You do not know what I look like.
Princey: I don't need a picture to know ;)
Logic: I can see you will be the cheesy one in this relationship.
Princey: Ah, there goes the butterflies again!
Princey: but yes you are 100% correct I will serenade you with enough cheesey-ness you will never want anymore again!
Logic: Although I am new to this, that sounds enjoyable. And I am sure you are handsome as well.
Princey: oh, I am! No need to worry, Gumdrop
Patton frowned, they really do like each other. Forcing a smile, he handed Roman's phone to Logan, Logan's to Roman, allowing them to see the screen and realise things for themselves.
After a long minute of silence, Logan lifted his head to stare at Roman, his eyes wide, face blank. Roman lifted his head too, dropping the phone onto the table and arising from his seat. "No, no" he tried to deny but the evidence was there - they had fallen for each other, for their enemy, and neither knew how to react.
"You need to put this behind you" and finally, finally, Patton spoke his mind. "This bickering? Arguing? It's pointless! And look" he grabbed the phones, thrusting the screens in their direction. They both looked away. "If you stopped and talked, maybe you would've fallen for each other sooner"
"I..." Roman drifted, staring at Logan for a moment, the nerd stared back, unable to form even a word. "I need to go" Roman finally managed, grabbing his phone and hurrying away until he was inside the school, out of their sight. Patton frowned and turned to his brother who was already gone, not caring that Patton still had his phone.
The twin sighed and sat down on the bench. Now what was he to do?
September 29th
Princey: Hey
Logan brought out his phone from his pocket, then looked over the classroom at Roman who was a few rows ahead, across the room from him. He didn't respond, not even open the app up.
Princey: respond, please
Again, Logan ignored the buzzing from his phone.
Princey: I will spam you
Princey: you know I will
Princey: you know I do that
Princey: I will continue
Princey: is
Princey: this
Princey: annoying
Princey: yet?
Princey: have
Princey: I
Princey: annoyed
Princey: you
Princey: yet?
Logic: Roman, fuck off.
Princey: seriously?
Princey: this is what I get for trying?
Logic: If it isn't obvious, we hate each other.
Princey: you hate me?
Logic: I do.
Princey: well that's awkward
Logic: Why?
Princey: because I love you
Logan froze, staring at the screen for the longest minute of his life. He shakily breathed out, lifting his eyes to stare at Roman who turned to see him, too, a gentle smile on his face.
Logan looked back down at his screen.
Logic: Can we really put all of this behind us?
Princey: can you even remember why we hate each other so much?
Logic: Not at all.
Princey: then why can't we?
Logic: I don't know. But I do know this, I lied, I don't hate you. I just don't know what to make of my emotions. I like you but will we continue to argue in real life? Will our relationship turn toxic? Will it just end in pain?
Princey: think about it, Mr. Intelligent
Princey: we've never argued once over text
Princey: we would make the best couple in existence!
Princey: we're not arguing because we clash, because someone like you can't become friends with someone like me
Princey: but because we were worried if one of us stopped being so mean the other would swoop in and knock us down until we were nothing
Princey: the only thing we could do was argue - it was our self defense from each other
Princey: at least, that was what it was like for me
Princey: I didn't want you to tear me down, I'm terrified of feeling insecure
Princey: so I carried on fighting back, I didn't want to lose
Princey: but now I'm okay with losing
Princey: as long as it ends with us together
Logic: Roman
Logic: I don't know what to say.
Princey: say no more, mi amor
Princey: for you just sent a double text
Logic: I suppose I did. But I want you to know something, I will never, ever insult you again, or make you feel insecure, ever, if we end up together after all of this. Only if you promise to do the same thing.
Princey: Logan, I didn't dream of insulting you since that day we found out who we actually were, but I felt terrible, so terrible guilty for everything I put you through.
Logic: So do I.
Princey: can we put all this behind us?
Logic: We can. I am sorry, Roman. I love you too.
Logan felt a finger tilt his head up, he gazed at Roman who helped him stand, the two leaning forward and kissing like they weren't standing in the middle of the classroom full of students staring at them in shock.
"Wow" the teacher whispered. Everyone in the school knew the two hated each other so this? This was a really, really big shock, seemingly coming out of nowhere. But for the boys? This was months in the making.
And, during lunch, when Patton saw them walking towards him hand in hand, he screamed so loud nearly everyone on the field turned to stare at him, watching the boy run over and pounce on Logan and Roman, the three falling to the ground in a pile of laughter.
"I love you two" he gushed and they both laughed sweetly.
Once they were all sitting on the bench, Roman spoke up.
"Hey, isn't that the emo boy you two used to be friends with a couple years back?"
The two turned to the school to see him walking up the steps with his mom next to him.
"Hey, look at that" Patton giggled with a soft smile.
"It is"
