Important - Deceit & Snow

Yes Snow is a random character I made up who comes from the Imagination

Cool? Cool.

The familiar noise of a side appearing caught Snow's attention. She looked up from her book she occupied herself with, spotting Deceit turn and leave the common room without even noticing her.

With a sly grin suddenly adorning her features, she placed her bare feet against the ground and rose up from the chair graciously, skipping her way to Deceit who walked with a pace. She managed to get by, however, and stopped before him, forcing him to do the same.

"Snow" he greeted, lifting his head back, brown and yellow eyes analysing her expression to see what she wanted this time.

Snow cocked her head to the side, eyes sparkling under the hallway light shining above. "Hello, De" she responded, head straightening, arms folding behind her back. "You're purely terrible at making friends" at this, Deceit rolled his eyes, rounding her and carrying on his walk.

Snow wasn't having it, however, and stopped before him once more, a grin still bright up on her face. Decker sighed, lifting his hat to run a hand through his hair, fixing it back onto his head once again. "You think I did all that to make friends?" He let out a humoured laughter at that, high pitched and terribly condescending, yet Snow didn't seem to care, not even change her expression in the slightest.

"I never want to be friends with them" Deceit tried to pass her by again but Snow reached out and grabbed his forearm, head turned to face the side who stood by her side now.

"For a liar I expected better" for such a statement, it seemed it would be uttered sharply, but Snow's voice had a permanent softness to it, yet it wasn't at all friendly in the slightest. They stared each other down for a brief few minutes, Snow wasn't relenting and Deceit knew this. Knowing the others would be back soon, Deceit led her down the hallway into his room where he closed the door behind them and brushed passed her across his room.

"I don't want Thomas to be disadvantaged in a world where you can die for not following the laws made in the name of a lie" Snow quoted words directly from Deceit in a sing-song voice who clenched his jaw, lifting his hat from his head and hanging it on the hook attached to the wall. She pranced around the room to him, lifting herself up into the air and perching on seemingly nothing.

"All for a wedding" Snow continued, "I never thought you to be the type to care" this struck a nerve, Deceit slammed his hand down onto his desk, whirling around to glare darkly at the being created in the Imagination.

"I don't care" he tried to reinforce, but Snow wasn't having any of it. She landed on the ground again, her feet not making a sound. "The way I see it" Snow ignored his anger for she knew it couldn't affect her in anyway. "Is; you desperately don't want Thomas to go to that wedding. Why? Because that call-back can do so much more for our dear Thomas, put him further up in the world, where he couldn't possibly be at a...disadvantage" Snow took a brisk step back as Deceit went to shove her away, she was too close for his own comfort.

"Snow; can it not be anymore obvious I don't want you here right now!?"

Snow pushed forward, "you're trying to be someone you're not"

Deceit drew his eyebrows together, "Snow, leave me alone"

She took a step closer; he backed away. "You're lying to yourself"

"Snow-!"

"You're a hypocrite" she lifted up into the air again, floating closer and closer to the side who kept walking back more and more. "What was your point today? In that court room? You seemed so happy when Thomas admitted he didn't want to go; not only because others misfortunes bring you joy, but because it's also a step further for Thomas to understand who he is"

Deceit's back abruptly hit the wall and Snow pressed her hands either side of Deceit's head, lowering onto the ground, head level with the lying aspect. "You don't want Thomas to keep thinking he's a solely honest person; you don't want Morality manipulating him anymore to think that he is. All you want" Snow tapped his chest and finally backed off into the air.

"Is to be accepted as a side; right?" Snow grinned, crossing her arms, "for enemies, you and Anxiety are so similar"

Snow took in Deceit's stance, his expression, the sudden atmosphere change in the room. She accomplished what she had wanted, and now it was time to leave. Hovering over to the door, she placed her hand on the door handle, but didn't leave just yet, nor did she turn to look at him again.

"If it's any consolation" she began, voice a quiet murmur, "I see you as important as the rest" with that, she left the room, closing the door ever so quietly behind her.

Deceit finally relaxed, crossing his room and residing on his bed, slipping off his gloves and cape, shoes and trousers.

He then slowly lowered himself down onto his bed, clicked his fingers and suddenly there was a warm blanket covering his body. His multicoloured eyes gazed at the ceiling for awhile until he rolled over, curling up into a ball.

"Important" he repeated, voice a quiet, harsh whisper, uttered in a way that proved he didn't believe it at all,

And probably never will.
