Alien Buddy - Patton x Virgil

*bobbles head*

Patton is an alien

Au

"Everyone, this is Patton. My alien experiment " Logan introduced to his friends. Roman, Virgil, Deceit and Thomas looked up, a smirk growing on Roman's face.

"They're cute" he winked, Patton floated above the ground, hair waving around gently as if it were under water. He turned to Logan who held a hand over his face.

"What does that mean?"

Thomas cooed, "where did you find him?" He asked, brushing his thumb against Patton's blue, glimmering skin. The alien giggled, twirling around in the air around Thomas who laughed. "Long story" Logan replied, pulling Patton down by his shoulder. Roman hummed, cocking his head. "Nice ass" he grinned at Patton who smiled back.

"What's an 'ass'?"

Thomas burst into laughter, Patton laughing along with him mostly out of confusion.

"Roman, flirt with the alien one more time and I will kill you" Virgil snidely remarked, Patton heard and gasped, hiding behind Logan. "Logan! Your human friend is about to murder the other human friend! We must do something!" Thomas's heart melted, "Yes Patton, save Romans life" Deceit commented, watching with amusement as Patton stood protectively in front of Roman, making Virgil roll his eyes and huff.

"Humans have squish!" Patton commented, instantly turning to Roman and poking his arm, gasping afterwards. "This flesh is hard! Logan! Why is his flesh hard?"

Virgil and Deceit snorted, Roman only blushed while Logan groaned and Thomas silently died in the background. "He excessively works out" Logan replied, glaring at Roman who flexed. Patton stared in astonishment, poking the muscle on his arm.

"Why don't you have this Logan?!"

"Yes, because Logan totally exercises" Deceit said, standing up to catch a better look at the alien standing in their living room. Logan huffed, taking Patton away.

"He is here so I can experiment, do not get attached-"

"Woah, you don't plan on hurting him, do you?" Virgil questioned, slowly standing up. Roman narrowed his eyes, pulling Patton back. The alien didn't know what was going on, so he happily floated next to Roman, holding his hand.

"This is called 'hugging hands' right?" He asked, they all shared a look, turning to Logan who slumped.

"Yeah, we are definitely keeping him"

"Roman! Roman! Look!" Patton rushed to his new friend, holding the glass of water in his hands. "You drink liquid! Right?" Roman smiled, putting down his phone. "Yes, would you like to try some?" Patton nodded, pressing the edge of the glass to his natural dark blue lips, frowning as the water didn't tip in.

Roman chuckled, "tip the glass up, but not too-" it was too late, Patton tipped it all the way up and now he was covered in water, blinking a few times in shock. "Fast..." Roman sighed, then began to laugh, grabbing a towel to clean him off.

"No! Watch! I saw something do this outside!"

Getting on all fours, Patton shook his body, a few water droplets going everywhere. "Patton!" Roman laughed, "You are not a dog!"

"A dog? What is 'a dog'?"

"A dog is a...pet, an animal!"

Patton nodded slowly, cocking his head. "I want a 'a dog!'"

"Patton...Patton no..."

Patton skipped down the human hallway, he preferred it to flying, why hadn't his species done it before?! Pausing outside of a room with a dark door, he heard muffled crying from inside. Knowing this meant someone was upset, he stepped in, seeing Virgil curled up on his bed, shaking gently. Frowning, Patton floated over, silently sitting down opposite.

"Vir-?"

"Jesus!" Virgil exclaimed, jumping at the sudden noise. Realising it was Patton, he calmed down a bit, but he still cried, breathing laboured. "What are you doing? You are losing water! Humans need water! They are seventy percent water! And why aren't you breathing?! Humans need oxygen even though it is slowly killing them! Please breathe! I don't want you to die! You're nice!" Patton worried, realising he wasn't getting any better he remembered something Logan mentioned to him.

Pulling Virgil's legs down from being pressed against his chest, Patton pressed him against the bed, looming over the man before pressing his lips to his, breathing into his mouth. Virgil gasped, staring into Patton's eyes that slowly changed colour as they usually did.

Patton leaned back, staring down at the pink lips that had swirls of blue on them from his own. Cocking his head, he pressed his lips against them again, wondering why he liked it so much...

Suddenly, Virgil pushed him away, pressing his back against the headboard. "What-what the hell, Patton?!"

"You needed air! Are you okay now?!" Virgil was able to bring his breathing back to normal, calming Patton down. "Here, you need this" Patton flew to the kitchen, grabbed a glass of water and flew back to Virgil.

"You lost a lot of water!"

"I'm fine, Patton..."

"Please!" Patton pressed the glass to his lips, sighing Virgil let the alien gently tip water into his mouth, he drank the whole glass, making Patton smile. "There" he murmured, brushing his bangs away.

"All better..."

"All I want to know is why...how" Logan sighed, analysing Patton who giggled, patting Logan's head. "Hey, look, I'm Patting you!" Logan paused, shaking his head and turning away.

Patton sat on the air next to Logan, tilting his head, obviously knowing Logan was upset and annoyed.

"Maybe..." Patton started, resting his elbow on the desk, chin on knuckles. "Maybe you should all stop asking why and how anything is here, and instead enjoy why and how they are here, because tomorrow...it might not be"

Turning his head to stare at his alien, Logan let a small smile rest on his lips. "Patton...you are right, I am sorry" Patton giggled, lifting Logan's hand and placing it on his hair, floating around attached to his head.

"Cool, huh?" Patton grinned, letting Logan stare in awe at his hair for awhile, ever since he first saw Patton he wondered how his hair floated around as if in water, but now instead he admired it.

"Deceit, right?"

"No" Deceit replied, smirking at Patton. They sat opposite each other cross-legged, leaning forward, Patton narrowed his eyes, remember being told their friend Deceit liked to lie.

"You're like Opposite Day but in a human!" He giggled, "humans are silly!"

"Hmm, because Opposite Day exists..."

"It...wait...Opposite Day doesn't exist?" Patton frowned, actually upset. Deceit sighed, rolling his eyes. "Yes, is does" lighting up, Patton clapped like a child, grabbing Deceit's hat and placing it on his own head.

"Yay! You're the best, Deceit!"

He froze, staring up at Patton with pink tinged cheeks. "Huh...I've never been complimented before"

"Really?" Patton gasped, leaning closer. "Why not! You have a yellow eye, an awesome hat! A cool voice, and you speak in lies! It's so unique!" Deceit smiled, letting Patton pat his head.

"You have been Patted!"

"Thomas! THOMAS!"

"Patton?! Are you okay?!

"Yes! But there's people aren't! They're trapped in this box!" Patton pointed at the television, tapping the glass. "Are you okay?!" He yelled, Thomas froze, his heart swelling. He thought he might cry at how absolutely adorable he was. Hugging him from behind, Thomas sighed out happily, "aren't you going to save them?" Patton frowned, worryingly whining.

"They're perfectly safe" Thomas assured, hugging him tightly.

"Really?"

Thomas nodded, hiding his face in his shoulder.

"What are you doing?"

"Hugging you"

"Like hugging hands?"

"Yep"

Patton smiled, "I like it"

"Patton! Movie night!" Roman called, the alien bounding into the room, a wide smile stretched across his lips. "Wait! I want to try something!" Pulling Virgil up from the couch, he hugged the anxious man, the feeling somehow relaxing Virgil. Something about his alien powers let him have the ability to calm people down in his arms, and for Virgil it was great.

"Wait, no...don't let go" Virgil mumbled, hugging back. "Cuddle me.."

"Cuddle?"

"Hugging but sitting down!" Thomas called, bringing in bowls of popcorn. Patton felt delighted at the idea, sitting on the couch he brought Virgil into his lap, petting his hair that covered his eyes.

"You are a 'cute'!"

He turned to Logan, "did I use it right?"

"Almost" Logan smiled, plopping popcorn into his mind. "The correct phrase is "you are cute"" Patton nodded, repeating the phrase to Virgil who chuckled and blushed.

"Like being a teacher, huh?" Roman commented, nudging Logan who rolled his eyes. "Of course I do. Teaching is what I do best"

"It's not all he does best, if you get what I mean" Deceit piped up.

"Deceit!"

"Deceit!"

"Deceit!"

"Patton!"

Everyone turned to Patton who giggled.

"What? I wanted to join in!"

From then on, Patton became a permanent member of their family of friends.

Maybe something more with Virgil, though.

OoOo~ I'm a rebel just for kicks now
