SN: I had to make a new person for this one, Charlie isn't actually Thomas's childhood friend, and if Thomas does know someone named Charlie it's not him/her/them.

"You guys excited?" Thomas grinned, fixing his hair in the mirror. "To meet someone we have already met?" Logan replied, glancing up from his book with a risen eyebrow. Thomas sighed and turned to his logical side.

"He hasn't met you, and you haven't met him, technically you are apart of me and I met them meaning you have also but shhh! I will not get into that" Thomas chuckled, he was talking about his childhood friend he recently got into contact with again

His name was Charlie and they were good friends for quite awhile until he had to move, Thomas cried for a few days while Patton cried...for a few weeks.

Speaking of Patton, "I'm so excited!" He yelled, grinning widely. "Will he look the same? Will he act the same? Ahhh!" Patton jumped around the room and Thomas smiled, Logan only sighed.

"Are you sure it is a good idea for him to know about us? I mean, no one else does" Logan said, when Thomas told them Charlie knew about his sides who could come to life Logan was very sceptical about it.

"Logan, it's fine, you know Charlie, he can keep secrets"

Logan rolled his eyes but sighed, nodding his head slightly and going back to his book. Half an hour passed and there was a knock on the door, Patton instantly began to squeal while Roman and Virgil made sure they looked alright one more time, they were nervous.

Thomas opened the door, "Hiiii!" He waved, opening his arms. Charlie smiled and waved back, they shared a hug and Charlie spun him around, Thomas laughed.

"How are you? Actually, come in" Thomas chuckled, standing in the doorway. Charlie frowned and bit his lip, taking out his phone and handing it to Thomas.

Confused, Thomas read the words on the screen and his eyes widened.

"You lost your hearing?" Thomas asked, Charlie couldn't hear him so Thomas quickly typed his reply and handed it back. Charlie nodded with a frown and an apologetic look.

"It's okay! Um..." he patted himself down and grabbed his own phone, writing in his notes that it was okay and he didn't mind. Smiling again Charlie walked in and waved at the sides. 

"AHH! CHARLIE!" Patton yelled, running over and hugging him. Charlie giggled and hugged back, he guessed this was Patton, Thomas told him who was who over text a few days before he got here.

"Guys, as you know this is Charlie, but he just told me he lost his hearing" Logan's ears perked up at this, aha! Finally he could use his sign language skills!

Logan got up and stood in front of Charlie, smiling slightly. Charlie smiled back with a shy wave.

(SN: The words in italic will be the sign language)

"Greetings, I am Logan, Thomas's logical thinking side. It is nice to meet you"

Charlie beamed, he didn't expect Thomas or his sides to know sign language.

"Oh my gosh! You know sign language? That's awesome! It's nice to meet you to!"

"Logan? Since when could you speak sign language? Or...not speak, I guess" Thomas chuckled.

"I learned it after Roman forced me to stop learning Spanish, because it was "his language"" Logan glanced at Roman who held his arms up.

"What? It's the language or romance!" He smirked.

"Can you tell him I said hi? Can you tell him I'm Patton?" Patton gasped, "COULD YOU TELL HIM HE WAS THE BEST FRIEND THOMAS HAS EVER HAD!?" He screamed, Logan flinched and Charlie giggled. Logan did think it was cute...

"Sure, Patton" Logan turned to Charlie.

"I apologise, this his Patton, he can get a bit excited sometimes, he said you were the best friend Thomas has ever had" Charlie grinned and turned to Patton, opening his arms for a hug. Patton squealed and hugged back, thanking Logan.

They all sat down and Logan either told Charlie what they wanted to say or they would type it on their phones and let him read it. During the parts where the sides were talking to each other Logan was able to talk to Charlie.

"It's so weird seeing four other Thomas's" Charlie smiled, Logan's heart fluttered but he suppressed the feeling, taking it as...he was nervous about getting the language wrong.

"We are all apart of his personality, we are not Thomas himself, I do not think I could bare another Thomas" Charlie giggled and Logan smiled, they stared at each other for a bit longer until Charlie looked away with a light blush.

Logan definitely thought he looked cute, dirty blond hair that fell over his beautiful amber eyes...freckles scattered across his nose and under his eyes, cute dimples and cheek bones...Logan stopped thinking about Charlie's facial features, it was a bit weird.

Charlie glanced at Logan to see him still staring and he looked away again, his blush deepening. When he spoke he barely had a filter to what he was saying and usually said things that embarrassed him, now with his signing he could stop himself from "saying" stupid things but somehow he is still making a fool of himself.

Charlie stayed for a few weeks and each day Logan became more eager and excited to hang out with him and talk to him without the others knowing what they were saying, if they asked he would usually lie.

"What Disney movie does Charlie want to watch?" Roman asked, looking through his collection. Logan turned to Charlie who was already facing him.

"Would you like to watch a movie?"

"Yeah! What do you have?"

"Roman is looking through his collection, do you know Disney?"

"Yes! Do you have Hercules?"

"Roman? Do we have Hercules?" Logan asked, Roman picked up the movie and smirked, showing it off. Charlie grinned and clapped his hands, sitting up and being all adorable.

Roman played the movie and during it Charlie leaned on Logan's side, resting his head on his shoulder. Logan smiled but didn't move, not knowing much about cuddling he just let Charlie do as he wished.

After the movie the sides went into his mind but Logan stayed, stopping Charlie from going into the guest room.

"Maybe you would like to stay with me?"

"Can I? If yes I would love to! Can I go into Thomas's mind?"

"Yes, give me one second"

Logan walked over to Thomas and Thomas somehow already knew, "You get him, Logan" he winked, Logan shook his head and held Charlie's hand, sinking down with him.

"Oooo!" Charlie grinned, looking around Logan's room with wonder. Logan watched with a smile and once he finished he jumped up to Logan.

"You have so many books!"

"I do - would you like to read one?"

Charlie looked over his collection and picked one up, a favourite of Logan's. Smiling he held the book at Logan and Logan nodded, letting him take it to his bed and read it happily. Logan sat next to him and read his own book contently.

The two did the same thing every night, some times Logan would stop reading first and fall asleep next to Charlie, other times Charlie would stop first and cuddle up to Logan's side, falling into a deep slumber.

One day, Logan had the courage to do something he had wanted to do for awhile.

"Charlie, could I tell you something?" He asked, biting his lip slightly. Charlie nodded happily and the others watched them "talk". 

"I have had these strong feeling for you for quite awhile and I may not understand them but I do know I only feel them for you" Logan paused, his hands becoming tense.

Charlie's heart soured when he told him that, it bet rapidly against his chest and he took a step forward, gaining Logan's attention.

"Logan, I feel the same way"

"You do?" Logan's eyes widened in slight surprise but he felt absolute euphoria knowing Charlie felt the same.

Charlie nodded with a smile, Logan blushed, hesitantly holding his hand up.

"I love you..."

"I love you, too!"

Pattons eyes narrowed slightly. "I wonder what they're talking about" he pondered aloud.

Virgil rose his eyebrow, "you don't know? C'mon, who doesn't know I love you in sign language" he rolled his eyes and Patton whipped his head towards him.

"What!?"

"Charlie said he loved Logan" Virgil shrugged then realised his mistake.

Patton screamed and Logan looked at him, Charlie also looked to see Patton race over, his mouth moving a mile a minute, he couldn't understand it but he guessed Patton knew about their confession.

Logan sighed and turned back to Charlie, he giggled and watched Patton freak out.

"I am sorry about him"

"No need! He's cute, but you're cuter!"

Logan smiled and Charlie smiled back, at that point Logan was more than happy that Thomas decided to tell Charlie about his sides.
