The sides woke up one morning very confused, Logan sat up first, looking around the room. It clicked that it was Pattons room but Patton was nowhere to be found, why was he here? He slept in his room last night!

Patton sat up next, rubbing his eyes and grabbing his glasses which were on the bedside table. He knew it was Logan's room, he, like Logan, was confused. Did someone put him in here? He definitely fell asleep on his bed last night.

Roman was very confused, he thought he couldn't stay in Virgils room for a long period of time without freaking out? He must've been in here for awhile.

Virgil was last to understand that he wasn't in his room, it was Princes, why the hell was he here? He hated sleeping anywhere else other then his room!

All the sides got out of bed and into the hallway, all of them deciding to go to the living room in hopes of finding someone else. There was four entrances to the living room, each entrances leading to one of the sides rooms.

They all entered the living room at the same time, Virgil stared at Roman while Logan stared at Patton.

Then they screamed.

"Why do you look like me!?" Virgil was the first to say to Roman.

"Look like you? Why do you look like me?" Roman fired back.

"Patton, why have you dressed up as me? You know how I feel about people touching my neck ties!"

"Logan I swear I didn't dress up as you! And you look like me!"

"Wait!" Logan shouted, shutting everyone up. "I have emotions"

"What?" Virgil asked, confused and annoyed. "I have emotions! Why do I feel emotions? WHY DO I FEEL THE STRONG ERGE TO HUG YOU ALL?!"

"Because you are Patton?" Roman replied, holding his hand up confused.

"No! I'm Patton!" Patton, in Logan's body, said, pointing at himself.

(This will get confusing. Fast)

"Yes, and I am Logan" Logan, in Pattons body, said, looking at Roman. "Ugh, why do I feel so confident?" Virgil spoke up, "Why don't I...hate myself?"

"You hate yourself!?" Logan gasped, but looked away confused a few seconds later. "Why do I care so much?"

"And why don't I care as much!" Patton worried, fear clear in his features.

"It seems as though me and Logan have switched...bodies? But how is that possible?" Patton pondered, instantly dropping it a few seconds later. "I even think smart, too!"

"It's not possible! I want my body back!" Logan complained, looking stunned a few seconds after. "This is not me at all!"

"Me and Princey have swapped as well, I'm feeling very bubbly, confident, and creative...I hate it" Virgil said, crossing his arms.

"I hate it too! Nearly as much as I hate myself!" Prince gasped, "Oh why? Why am I so emo and depressing and RELATABLE!?" He cried, his breathing becoming irregular.

"Roman, calm down" Patton said, turning to him. "In Virgils body you are more vulnerable to panic attacks" Patton paused, "I like being smart...but I don't like not caring! I want my emotions back. Logan think of something!" Patton cried.

"I can't! All I can think of is why Roman is so mean to himself! Meaning that Virgil is mean to himself! Virgil why haven't you told us!? You know we care about you! We love you!" Logan was near tears, very confused.

"This is so weird! I hate emotions!" Logan added

"Logan, calm down" Patton said calmly, "we have to find a way to switch us back"

"Yeah, no shit" Roman replied and gasped, covering his mouth. "AH! My foul mouth! I did not mean it, Patton!"

"Roman! Stop fiddling with my jacket! It's new and I do not need you to ruin it! I may not be a prince in that body BUT I STILL HAVE TO SLAY!" Virgil cried, throwing his arms up all dramatically.

"I hate this! I'm so loving to myself, I do deserve it, I am- oh god what's happening NO!" Virgil tugged his hair but stopped, fixing it and then tugging it again.

"Well, I have come to the conclusion that we act like the personas that we posses" Patton explained, fixing his tie.

"Meaning that Logan can feel emotions because he is in my body, I can't because I am in his. Virgil loves himself because he's in Romans body while Roman does not because he is in Virgils. What a strange tern of events, you would think that we still act like ourselves but in different bodies but-"

"Okay! we get it, Nerd!" Virgil said, "see!" Patton pointed, "that would be something Roman would say yet you said it! This is very interesting but confusing...our brains didn't switch but...almost like our souls did?" Patton scratched his chin and looked away in thought.

"I don't care what switched! Just change us back!" Roman exclaimed, "I want my body back, do you know how hard it is to keep my breathing in control? And bad thoughts at bay?"

"Welcome to my world" Virgil rolled his eyes, moving the red sash up his shoulder. Roman turned to look at him, confusing and realisation in his eyes.

"You go through this? Everyday? This is horrible! I'm so sorry, I didn't know"

"How could you? With these thoughts I'm surprised you understand anything happening around you! It's all me, me, me, ohh creativeness spark! Me, me me! How can you live like this?!" Virgil asked, genuinely curious.

"We have all come to terms with how our mind and body works, for example Virgil has become used to the bad thoughts and can control himself if ever a panic enduring moment happens, I can live with no emotions and being extra smart, Patton is used to being overly emotional and..." Patton paused and rubbed his temples. "Ugh, I'm not used to all these smart thoughts"

Logan looked up at Patton, finally understanding something. "Wait, Patton! You're Thomas's emotions!"

"Yes, is this new to you?" Patton replied. "Sorry! I didn't mean to sound so rude!"

"What I mean is you're all of this emotions, not only his happiness, his joy, is excitement, but his anger, hatred, sadness...you deal with these overload of emotions every day but you choose to be happy. I'm really struggling with keeping these emotions down but you do it easily everyday! I don't give you as much credit as I should've, I'm so sorry Patton!"

"It is quite alright, Logan. I am really struggling with not being able to feel emotions right now but you do it perfectly, I admire you for that" They both smiled at each other but was interrupted when Virgil cleared his throat.

"As much as this is sweet I WANT MY CUTE AND ADORABLE BODY BACK AND EW I JUST SAID THAT" he yelled in disbelief.

"Cute and adorable?" Roman repeated, staring at, well himself, but himself as Virgil. "I'm not cute and adorable! I'm angsty and fearful!" Roman growled, hiding his eyes behind his purple bangs.

"Angst and fearful? Pffft hahahah! Hardly!" Virgil laughed, running a hand through his hair to fix it.

"We have to find a way to fix this" Patton said, gaining their attention again.

"Maybe Thomas knows something?" Logan offered, they nodded and sunk down.

Will they return to their normal bodies? Or will they stay like this forever?

Anyway, sorry if this was confusing, I confused myself. Basically (if you didn't understand and tbh I'm trying to help myself understand):

Virgil is in Romans body and acts like him
Roman is in Virgils body and acts like him
Logan is in Pattons body and acts like him
And Patton is in Logan's body and acts like him.

There will be a part 2 so yeah
