Logan slowly opened his tired eyes and yawned, stretching his body. He looked around his bed and became confused, since when was he this small?...and why does he have furry arms?!

Eyes widening he jumped down from bed and ran to his mirror, once he caught a glimpse he screamed.

His scream woke Patton, his ears perking up. He didn't notice how small he was, nor did he notice he was running on all fours. All he cared about was making sure Logan was alright.

"Logan? Are you okay?" Patton called, running into his room. He saw what looked to be a small fox looking animal standing in front of Logan's mirror and screaming.

Patton looked at it closely and ducked his head down, sniffing it. His eyes widened when he realised he could smell everything and he just smelled the animal!

"Wh-Uh-" he stopped when he looked in the mirror, screaming like the other animal was doing.

"How are you screaming? You are a dog! Oh! I do not care! Why am I a desert fox?! What happened!?" Logan yelled.

"I don't know!" Patton replied, looking at himself in the mirror. He was a puppy golden retriever and Logan paused, turning to face him.

"Patton?"

"Logan?"

"YOU ARE AN ANIMAL!" They yelled at the same time.

With all the yelling Virgil and Roman woke up, both of them realising they weren't human and screaming also. They all appeared in the real world to go to Thomas who was laying on his couch.

"THOMAS!" They yelled at the same time. Thomas screamed in fright and sat up, screaming again when he saw a lion.

"Thomas! It's me! Roman!" The lion, or Roman, said, taking a few steps closer.

"Wh-what? Roman? What the heck?!" Thomas stammered, still shuffling backwards.

"I woke up like this! Although I do look glorious" Roman smirked, shaking his mane.

"Not the time, moron" Virgil replied, his eyes narrowing. "It's always the time, kitty" Roman mocked. Virgil hissed at him, bending his back slightly.

"You're all animals" it took Thomas a few seconds to process this all. "Yes, I am a desert fox, Patton is a dog, Virgil is a cat and Roman is a lion" Logan explained.

"Why do you and sir sing a lot get cool animals?" Virgil muttered, his long black ear twitching.

"Dogs are cool! And cute!" Patton smiled, but seeing his dog version smile was even cuter.

"You can shape shift so...did you morph into animals?" Thomas questioned, looking at Virgil as he spoke to them all, something about seeing his boyfriend as a cat made him want to cuddle with him for hours.

"Possibly, we were talking about our favourite animals last night" Logan said, pondering.

Roman elegantly strode over to a mirror and looked at himself, pulling back his lips and growling. His eye caught sight of the others and his eyes narrowed, turning around he slowly walked up to them like they were his pray, growling ever so slightly.

"Roman stop pretending to be a real lion" Logan sighed, shaking his head.

But Roman didn't stop, he leapt onto the couch and growled darkly at Logan who actually started to feel scared. He backed away as Roman got closer, "Roman! Stop!" Patton yelled, his voice snapped him out of whatever trance he was in.

"What....what happened?" He asked, blinking.

"It seems you cannot control your animal..." Logan replied, still keeping his distance.

"We're gonna have to change him back before he loses control again" Virgil commented, also keeping his distance. Roman looked at them both apologetically and Patton stood on his back legs to lick the side of his face, making Roman smile a bit and lay down so Patton could cuddle him.

"How can you change back?" Thomas asked, kneeling on the floor and rubbing Virgils head, making him pure and slowly pad closer to Thomas.

"Exactly the same way we did with the shapeshifting" Logan replied, sitting down and closing his eyes.

There was a long pause until Virgil spoke up.

"You're still an anima-"

"I am working on it!"

"Riiiight, when you do that" Virgil looked up at Thomas, "cuddle me, Nemo?" Thomas grinned and scooped Virgil up in his arms, sitting on the couch and drawing his legs up to his chest, leaving enough room in between for Virgil to lay down and cuddle up into him, letting Thomas rub his stomach softly.

Romans attention was drawn back to Patton who laid on his back and made small whiny noises, his mouth open as he smiled, his tongue flopping out.

Roman chuckled lowly, nuzzling his nose into his neck. Patton made small noises of appreciation. Roman smelled his neck and for a split second he thought of biting down into it but quickly pushed it away, hoping Logan will find out a way to change back soon.

Thomas began to play with Virgils paws and giggled, Virgil only hissed slightly but kept his eyes closed, being a cat made him feel more lazy then he did when he was human.

"What's taking so long, nerd?" Roman finally asked, Patton playing with Romans mane.

Logan sighed and laid down, covering his eyes with his long ears. "I do not know but I do know that I am hungry"

"Oh! What do desert foxes eat?" Thomas asked, slowly placing Virgil on the couch and standing up.

"Just get me some raw meat" he replied, too deep in thought to say anything else.

"I would also like some raw meat" Roman called, Virgil made a disgusted face, well, as disgusted as he could being a cat and sat up, licking his paw and putting it down when he realised what he was doing.

"I hate being a cat" Virgil mumbled, not realising his tail was swaying side to side.

"You sure seem to like it when Thomas is cuddling you" Roman replied, smirking as best as he could. Virgil hissed at him and Roman roared back, he yelped and jumped behind the couch.

"Tiger, don't scare him" Patton scolded softly, Roman hummed, "how ironic" He mumbled. Patton sat up and booped his nose, making Romans heart warm.

Thomas walked back in with two plates full of raw meat. "Are you sure you can eat this?" He asked, putting the plates on the floor.

"Yes, do you think animals hunt and cook their animals?" Logan replied, Roman didn't even bother to acknowledge Thomas's comment as he ate the full plate in one bite.

"Woah...you can eat" Thomas said, eyes widening a bit.

Logan swallowed his food. "Yes, Lions eat seven kilograms (fifteen pounds) everyday - he is an adult lion meaning would need to eat that much to survive, compared to say, a cub would eat" Logan explained and went back to his food.

"Oh..." Thomas nodded slowly, picking up the plate and going to collect more food, Virgil jumped back onto the couch and bounced up and down a bit.

"I can jump" he commented, jumping onto the coffee table from the back of the couch.

"Cats can jump exceptionally far" Logan replied, finishing his food.

Virgil jumped onto the banister and onto the stairs, basically jumping around the entire house.

"What can I do?" Patton grinned.

"Fetch a ball, be a companion, your smell has improved-"

"I CAN SMELL WHERE THOMAS IS!" Patton cut him off, sniffing the air.

"I suppose you can, yes"

"What can you do, foxy?" Romans asked Logan. Logan rolled his eyes and laid down, keeping his head lifted up, the same position Roman was in.

"I can lose body heat through my ears, keeping me cool in hot temperatures"

"Cool!" Patton smiled, pausing his sniffing.

"More like boring" Roman mumbled, stretching his back and standing up.

Logan once again rolled his eyes and went back to trying to change back into a human.

Thomas gave Roman a lot more food, sitting down and cuddling Virgil again. Patton ran around, loving being a dog more then he would've expected.

Suddenly Logan changed back, laying on the floor with his arms crossed and head up.

"Oh, thank my ability to change back!" Logan jumped up and brushed himself off.

Patton turned back into a human mid run, giggling. "You couldn't change back?" He asked standing.

"And you could?"

"Yeah! I just wanted to be a dog for longer"

Virgil suddenly turned back into human, he tensed and glanced at Thomas who smiled, wrapping his arms around his waist.

"Glad to have you back, teddy"

"I'm not a teddy" Virgil mumbled but snuggled into Thomas anyway.

Roman glanced at everyone then at himself, he did like being a lion but he didn't want to hurt anyone.

"Wait!" Patton said, sitting down on Romans back. "TO NARNIA!" He yelled, Roman chuckled and turned back into a human, holding Patton on his back, swivelling his head to kiss his lips.

"You could all change that easily?" Logan whispered, "I hate everyone" he added, vanishing to his room.

"Well that was...fun" Roman shrugged, brushing his hair to the side. "But I'm tired" grabbing Pattons hand they went to his room, leaving Thomas and Virgil to fall asleep on the couch in each other's arms.
