Yo! Elk here, alrighty so this should explain what Kenny and I mean when we say and rp using 'vessels'

Vessels:

So as you know, vessels have become more common in the rp, and I'm here to explain how they work.

1. Vessels and Souls

Souls can possess a vessel, these souls are from either the Dark forest or Starclan. When they possess a vessel, the vessel no longer ages and when the soul first enters the vessel, it repairs the vessel of any injuries, decay etc. That it may have had before. The soul does not alter the vessel's appearence. Vessels do not have to belong to the soul that possesses them

EXAMPLE: Fallenwings can possess any vessel, he just uses his own body because he prefers it.

2. Vessel Abilities.

Vessels are not living, therefore they require no food, oxygen, water or sleep to operate. They can be wounded by mortals but no pain is felt, and the vessel heals very quickly because of the celestial power/dark energy the soul runs on. Vessels and Souls are only injured by other souls in vessels, nothing else. However, they can injure everything else. If a cat with a power dies and another soul possesses their body, that soul takes on the power the body had when alive.

Eg: If Lionstar died and Fallenwings' soul entered Lionstar's body, Fallenwings would be invincible while he was in that vessel. As soon as the soul leaves it, they lose the power.

3. Celestial Power and Dark Energy.

Starclan souls run on celestial energies, which is seen as Starlight, this is generated and used at a constant rate so they never 'burn out'. This energy can be used to revive the dead but it can only revive one soul. This will kill the Starclan cat as all their celestial energies will be used up in one go. At night, starclan possessed vessels glow a white light, this is the starlight which is only seen at night. They can generate it during the day as a defense tool against Dark forest cats. Celestial energies ward off and can kill dark forest cats.

Dark energy is what dark forest cats run on, its shadows essentially and not as strong. It cannot overrun Starclan soul when they're radiating light, only when they're not glowing. Dark energy does not burn out, and it cannot revive cats from the dead.

4. Wavelengths.

Mortals are the neutral wavelength, they are in the middle, Starclan is above them, a stronger wavelength, Dark forest are also above them, just not as much. So Starclan overpowers any.

5. No Vessel?

Souls without vessels are easy to deal with, they can be destroyed by a wound fatal enough to kill a living cat. If a soul is outside of a vessel, it can be killed by mortals, vessels are the only things that stop mortals being able to kill souls.
